I was looking for a place in Carrollton to tan and found Metro Tan. I went in on my lunch break and met Gino (the owner).He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They had some amazing deals going on as well! I tried out their new Spray Tan machine and was very happy with my results. In the past I’ve always ended up orange but when I left today I looked like a golden goddess:) I highly recommend the Versa Spray. Also the place was clean and they had an amazing selection of beds and I didn’t have to wait! Thank you Gino and Metro Tan for a great experience and AMAZING results!

I’m honestly surprised to see some bad reviews for Metro Tan! I’ve been tanning here for about 2 years now (moved to Cali and back). I’ve always received great customer service and I don’t feel like I’m talking to a used car salesman when I go in. It’s so nice not to be pressured into buying stuff I don’t want/​need. They do try to up sell, but if you say no, they don’t try to push it on you. I mostly use the VersaSpa and rarely have to wait to go in. The pricing is pretty good for the most part.

ugh can i give this place negative stars?
it is awful. rude. degrading. stinks.
i was trying to find a great tanning salon & was contemplating PlanetTan or Palm Beach, but wanted to do a more local business — i am DEFINITELY going with PlanetTan or Palm Beach.
so rude. «gino» wouldn’t honor his 4-​day free trial — acting like it didn’t exist — uh, it’s ON the front page of YOUR website. then tried to shove all these packages on me & got super pissy when i was taking time on making my decision. then made me go to my car & scrap up change for the $ 1 trial goggles because I didn’t pay for the $ 10 ones. um at PlanetTan they’re free.
he & his coworker proceeded to yell at another client in front of me.
just THE WORST I’ve ever been treated. and I rarely give bad reviews.
this is why small businesses stay small then eventually close.
off to give money to PlanetTan! not this place!

It’s been years since I have tanned and walked in pretty clueless, prepared to be judged, and waiting to be hard sold. What I actually experienced was the complete opposite! Gino was so nice and friendly. Answered all of my questions and took time explaining the beds and VersaTan system to me. He recommended what would work best for be. Zero pressure in sales tactic and was extremely professional. I highly recommend!

this is a horrible place! Customer service is bad. I just felt so uncomfortable here. I do not like this place. I would walk in and say «hi, and sign in». And the person at the desk totally ignores me and just doesn’t acknowledge me. But they will chit chat with their regulars. It felt like an episode of Mean girls. Also, I went in there with a coupon and they were giving me such a hard time in honoring the coupon. Just weird place. And I think the owner’s name is Gino or something like that… he’s weird too!
