I was here for lunch with couple of my friends. Arguably one of the best best Korean restaurant in this area. We have been to others but we like this one the most. I ordered the spicy pork short rib soup and my friends ordered the seafood tofu soup. We also ordered the bbq chicken dish to share. The best part is the banchan(side dishes) they serve with the meals. The soup is hot, spicy and very good. My friends loved their seafood tofu soup too. I would definitely recommend it.

Very bad service!!! The staffs in here in here very rude even the manager too. The menu doesn’t have anything special. I will never come back to this place.

Came for the spicy beef tofu soup and it’s amazing. The side dishes are also really good. I always come for the tofu soup. Service isn’t great, just decent.

I always order the haemul(seafood) soondooboo here and it hits the spot every time! They normally serve 8 different side dishes with the meal, which have a good variety each time I’ve come in and always taste fresh. Plenty of seafood and plenty of tofu in my soup and the perfect amount of spice! The workers are always kind and attentive here. They are not too much and not too little with attention, which is the case with most Korean restaurants.

I have to admit — I’m always excited for the side dishes at Korean restaurants, and wow, they did not disappoint. They brought eight different kinds of sides, and they were all delicious, albeit the kimchi was a little too garlic-y(I enjoyed it though). I was highly content with the amount of sides. To the main dish. After reading all the reviews praising the tofu soup, I just had to try it. I ordered the mild tofu soup with seafood, and that was a very impressive dish. There was an ample amount of seafood, the soup was hot and very satisfying for a cold night, and adding the egg was fun(we couldn’t figure out what our waitress was saying at first). I highly recommend getting the spicy one — I’m not much of a spicy food enthusiast, but it was much more flavorful than my mild one and the spiciness wasn’t too bad. I also recommend not getting the one with mushrooms(unless ours was just special) — my friend ordered it, but there was only 3 or so tiny pieces of mushroom, and it was a $ 1 extra. With a nice interior with dividers and Korean TV shows playing in the background, the restaurant itself was clean and pleasing. With the food being delicious and the sides being plentiful, I’d love to visit this place again.

I used to frequent this place. The food is good but the service is horrible!!! It seems that they don’t care to serve you unless you’re Korean. Our server seated us and never came back to take our order(after 15 minutes). They were not busy as this was around 2pm after the lunch rush. We called for her but she went to sit down for her lunch(I’m assuming). She arrived 5 minutes later only to ask is the table next to us needed anything. We got up and left. I know better than to give my business to someone who doesn’t want it. Don’t go here, especially if you’re not Korean.

My boyfriend and I came here because he adores the tofu soup as it is their specialty apparently! I was going to rate this place 3.5 due to the fact that the food is very mediocre, the servers were unfriendly and had no manners at all. But i am giving it a 4 because the lady who is always at the front desk has always been so kind whenever I’ve come here. Moving along to the food, I ordered the LA Galbi and it was pretty expensive but the portion was sufficient. However, I disliked how much fat there was on it! My boyfriend ordered a mild tofu soup with seafood and his dish was amazing! It was the perfect heartwarming soup for the weather that day. Also, I mentioned how one of the servers lacked manners, what happened was I asked for scissors so I could cut my galbi and the response i got was«HUH»? It was very unprofessional and in fact, rather rude. In conclusion, I would come back here just for the food but don’t expect any hospitality when it comes to the servers. They do get the job done though.

cute interior with tall booths that almost make you feel like you’re in a private room with your party. came here because we heard the tofu soup is the best. they gave us a full range of sides including fish cake, radish, kimchi, seaweed, beans, bean sprouts, and vegetables. my party ordered kimchi tofu soup and beef tofu soup. All were served boiling hot to our table and we had the choice to crack our own eggs into the soup. as far as my favorite tofu soup from jin mi in plano(cheap and delicious!), i believe the flavor compares but the prices are a little expensive for the same portion size and less meat. i tasted my friend’s soup(who ordered the same beef tofu soup as me) and hers tasted much saltier as if it was scraped from the bottom of the pot. weird. wait service was friendly at times but we also felt a little ignored; the soup had kick and our waters were empty quickly but they were never filled. as far as getting our bill taken care of, we werent sure if we were supposed to pay up front, which might be why it took another 30 minutes to pay out even though they walked past us multiple times knowing we were finished with our meal. either way, the interior is cute and the location is convenient in this complex, with a wide variety of dishes on its menu. if i were in the area and craved tofu soup and was willing to pay the price, this is where i’d go.

My friend and I went here the other night for soondubu on a cold night. We ordered the beef sondubu and kalbi combo and a single order of beef sondubu; we shared the kalbi. I was really impressed by the flavor of the soondubu — probably my favorite place for tofu stew now! The tofu tasted fresh and was plentiful. I enjoyed the kalbi, too. It was grilled perfectly! I’ll be making more frequent trips to this place once the weather gets even colder.

The inside is designed like an old Korean village. It’s large enough to fit around 75+ people. All the tables are sectioned off with dividers and some of the larger sections have a complete wall. They keep the place pretty well maintained as well. We ordered several dishes including the soon tofu/galbi combo, bulgogi stew style, and dumplings. Everything we had was really good. Their dumplings are pretty popular. They are pretty large and fresh. The banchans were diverse and they filled it when we asked. You get the rice in individual stone bowls except the bulgogi stew. They gave me white rice. The service was friendly and quick. It was friendlier than the typical Dallas Korean restaurant. They’re more engaged with the customers. I would recommend this place.

Ahh one of the few places in the area that still uses metal chopsticks. I found this place when I was aimlessly walking around the area looking for food. I’ve tried the food court in hmart, but I wanted something different. This place is a little more expensive than other food in the area but I think it’s worth it. The service is great and the food came out hot and delicious! The portions are generous and they can refill your banchans if you run out. The restaurant is decorated really nice and the atmosphere is not noisy! I ordered the yukgaejang and it was really good. This place is definitely worth coming back to!

Soondubu(spicy, soft tofu soup with meat, seafood, etc.) is basically the only thing I want to eat when the temp drops below 65. Musiro served up one of the best bowls that I’ve had in a while. I usually find the flavor a little bland from most places but not here. I ordered one of their combos — galbi and soondobu. I love that you can choose from their pretty extensive list of soups with the combo. The galbi was good, nothing special but the soup was generously portioned, spicy and full of seafood. Everyone at the table seemed pleased with their orders. I took a bite of my friend’s braised short rib dish and the meat was really tender. Also, the mildest spice is called«white.» C’mon…you gotta love that.

Really hits the spot when you’re craving some good soondubu! This little restaurant is located right next to H-mart, and it is definitely the best tofu stew I’ve had in a while(I’ve been sad ever since my favorite place at Royal/35 closed temporarily and then changed management). A friend and I came here on a Saturday night, and luckily it wasn’t too crowded. We waited a few minutes for a table. I really like how the booths are set up – the walls between the booths are really high, so it gives you a nice sense of privacy. I ordered the beef soondubu combo with kalbi. Everything was delicious. The banchan were fresh and plentiful, the soondubu was SO flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice for me, and the kalbi was tender and well-marinated. We had a good time, and I’ll be back the next time I want some good tofu stew!

This was our first visit here and we were very pleasantly surprised. The facility was well kept, clean and had a nice aesthetic. The food was outstanding. We had the stone bowl«be bim bob» which included some additional vegetables. It was definitely the best«be bim bob» I have ever had. The real surprise was the dumpling appetizer; it was amazing. We could have ordered plates of those and had that as a meal by itself. The appetizer came with eight rather large dumplings so they didn’t skimp on the appetizer size either. Another aspect we enjoyed is that all of the food seemed very fresh and seemed to be cooked with an emphasis on healthy eating. There were no thick, fatty sauces, just fresh ingredients prepared well with a few choice spices. The waitstaff and management were friendly and took the time to explain what the items on the menu were and even made recommendations which we will surely try on our next visit. We certainly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I reallllly loved the food here. They are known for their soft tofu soup and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The location is next to H Mart! I got the beef soft tofu soup, steamed dumplings, bul go gi and the Korean short ribs. It was all delicious! I did get the soup and bul go gi combo which was plenty of food for seconds and leftovers. Their dumplings is a must try. They are very generous on the size of it and it’s all around scrumptious. It is a tad bit on the pricier side but I think it’s worth getting something I enjoy. The service wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the absolute worst either. There is a call button at the table but it’s useless because they don’t pay attention to it. Silverware was in a box on the table! FYI they do charge for extra rice. I did not know this going in but they didn’t charge me for it since we had already paid. Overall I’m sure I’ll go back. It will do for my Korean food fix!

Best Korean food in Texas I’ve ever had(of course, Korean food in Houston isn’t the greatest, so take that with a grain of salt). I went to Musiro on a Saturday evening with a group of 7; we had to wait around 20 – 25 minutes. The servers were friendly, but they were incredibly rushed and not the most attentive. The service was pretty slow also; i think because they were so busy. But the manager apologized for how slow everything was, which was nice. Food: 1. Their side dishes are really on point! I loved every side dish; they were really fresh and made really, really well. 2. Cold noodles(Naengmyeon): Delicious! I haven’t found many Korean restaurants that serve Naengmyeon. And the one here was really well made; it definitely tasted like the ones I had in Korea. Very refreshing! 3. Sundubu: I only had a sip of my friend’s, but it was amazing! The spices and flavors were really strong, but not so overwhelming that it was too salty.

I came here with my uncle my family for the first time and it wasnt quite what I expected. The restaurant seemed really small and plane from the outside but once I entered; it completely threw me off. The korean restaurant was a lot nicer compared to the other competition located within walking distance. The staff provided good service and was pretty attentive. Personally, Im not a huge fan of soft tofu due to texture but I’ll eat it anyways. I ordered the spicy soft tofu stew with pork and my cousin ordered the bi bim bop. Initially, I was craving the kimchi jige soup but the restaurant didnt offer it so I settled with the spicy soft tofu version. I feel as if the stew itself was missing more flavor and that«kimchi kick» to it. The bon chon wasnt as good being compared to Omi. My stew came with a raw egg which you were suppose to crack it yourself into the stew. I was able to try my cousin’s bibimbop and I thought it was average overall. Im not really a big fan of bibimbops either. Overall: I dont think I will be returning to this restaurant unless my family or friends are absolutely dying to go eat here. I would probably prefer Omi over this restaurant. I was glad that I was able to try something new :)

Food(4⁄5) If you’re looking for delicious soondubu(Korean tofu stew), then look no further! Musiro used to be called Tofu House, but it still specializes in soondubu. My go-to order is the sogogi soondubu(beef Korean tofu stew). The tofu is a softer variety, so it’s not going to be as firm if that’s what you prefer. In addition to your tofu stew, you’re also provided complimentary banchan dishes(think Korean appetizers). The banchan isn’t always the same, but it includes staples such as kimchi, fish cake, marinated bean sprouts, broccoli, and japchae. For about $ 8.99 each, the soondubu includes rice, banchan, and an egg to crack into your soondubu, which is an extremely reasonable price. For the excellent taste and the abundance of food you receive, I can’t harp on more about how great Musiro is. To be honest, Musiro is where I go to eat a little healthier after I splurge on not-as-healthy foods: X Service(3⁄5) Service is standard wait service. I think the coolest thing to note is the service button at each table. Koreans tend to value privacy during their dining experience, so the button is meant to only provide service to your table when you want it. For the most part, the wait staff have been pretty responsive when I press the button. :) Atmosphere(4⁄5) The restaurant space is pretty clean and modern. There are several dark wood accents throughout the interior. Additionally, there are enclosed booths to provide more privacy among each visitor. Bottom Line Pretty solid soondubu in the Dallas area. It’s a great bang for your buck given how much food is provided to you for the price of the soondubu dish($ 8.99). If I ever have a craving for something delicious and healthy, Musiro is one of the first places I think of.

Being surrounded by a variety of Korean type restaurants, this restaurant is just decent. You can get better at Gui Rock(right across the street). Their service is one of the reasons I’m giving it 3 stars. The ladies were nice and friendly but they forgot half of our order so we had to remind them. Plus, they didn’t even get us our silver ware/plates until we asked for it when the food was already out. Nothing special or different off their menu.

The state of this restaurant has really gone down… I use to love coming here(even when it was called tofu house before it was called Musiro) but not anymore. The side dishes aren’t very special, and the food is very standard for Korean food. I feel like as a restaurant in the Hmart area in order to really be good you need to have good food or something that makes you stand out. The thing that makes me give them only two stores is that the servers have gotten rudder, they always rush and it doesn’t make the experience all that enjoyable. The second thing is that the price increase is ridiculous. E combo for LA galbi + tofu soup is now $ 18.99 and the combo for bulgogi + tofu soup is $ 15.99, if I wanted to pay that much money for Korean food I would go next door to Omi and eat all you can eat or a really good Korean meal at Gul-rock across the street. Tldr; expensive for mediocre Korean food, servers that rush you.
