I wandered through here while waiting for someone, and came across Pat who was tidying a clearance section. She is seriously the hardest working, most intentional, and efficient retail worker I’ve ever come across, especially in a clearance section! She was also very sweet and friendly, asking me how my day was going with a smile and a direct look in the eye.
I hope her efforts are noticed by her employers. You’ve found a gem of a human, Bealls!

We have been meaning to stop in here for some time now, and we did.
Having used the mall entrance we were inundated with very loud country music, yuck.
But luckily the store is right there so I survived it without my ears bleeding.
What I found when entering the store was a nice bright space, pretty much open front to back. Having walked the whole of the store which is not a big deal since it is not huge I was impressed with the basic merchandise and VERY good prices. I encountered one employee and he was polite and helpful. I was also very impressed with how clean everything was and orderly.
aYUP a decent place for the basics.
