Tuesday Morning

Hit or miss store. Sometimes you come in and the place looks like a train wreck with very little decent inventory. Sometimes, like the other day, there was tons of fresh new items in and I could have walked out with 3 bags of stuff. The lady manning the register was very nice and chatty — almost too chatty in the sense that she talked to the people in front of me in line for a long time when really, I just wanted to pay for my 2 items and get out of there. This is a nice place to grab home décor items.

I just posted a review of the Reno location for Tuesday Morning store — which, despite MULTIPLE listings online is no longer at the posted address of 3702 S. Virginia.
And while I’m at it, I had stopped at the Carson City store about 2 weeks ago, browsed the aisles, actually had an armful of things I wanted to buy, took them to the check-​out counter (with only one cash register in the whole store). And there I waited … and waited … and waited … and waited! Another couple of shoppers lined up behind me, but there was no clerk to be found! I didn’t want to lose my place at the front of the queue to find a clerk — WTF? I was tempted to bellow out, «ANYONE HOME?!» And we actually had a bit of a laugh about the absurdity of us all standing there for like 10 – 12 min? I finally said, «Fuggedit! I’m outta here.» I dumped my stuff on the counter and walked out.
What else to do? Complete BONER of an experience. I’ve shopped several times at the Camarillo, CA Tuesday Morning store and found it to be a VERY pleasant experience every time. So go figure.

This place is bizarro to me. So much random stuff, alot of it looks like old back stock from 80 different stores. If you’re looking to burn a good hour, go here. You will just by looking at all the stuff they have and saying to yourself, «whaaat?» Granted, I did buy a book and 2 clothing items for 10 bucks. Suuper cheap. I just can’t decide if I’m for or against this place. I’m more so intrigued now, and will probably go back to see what other random things they got in. Also should note that the cashier was very nice.
