Food is great like always, my server kenneth(ken) is absolutely wonderful! So cheerful, always asking if there is anything else we need. Almost everyone has a smile and great customer service. I will for sure come here again.

I have not been to this iHop in years but we thought we would give it a try. I am very disappointed in our food. My steak was well done, yet no sear and uncooked fat when Medium Rare was requested. The pancakes were all cooked differently and the hash was done well on top and raw on bottom. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that our server kept up with our drinks and made a true effort to resolve our issues.

Much improved. Thought they might be feeling neglected with Peg’s opening up, but apparently they have their loyal clientele. Everything seems to have improved since I was here last. Eggs were cooked as I ordered, decent coffee, excellent service, tasty sausages, good pancakes. I really had no complaints.

Came here Friday night a little past 9pm. It took a good 10 or 15 minutes to get seated, we could tell that they were short staffed but we waited anyway, so glad we did! Although the service was quite slow because they were short staffed, Fernando was an outstanding server! He never complained even though as soon as he got on his shift a group of about 10 people stormed out and told him the service«sucked» because it was so slow. He kept his cool and just carried on with his tables. He was running frantically trying to help satisfy all his tables and provided wonderful service as he did. Fernando rocked his customer service on a crappy night, and for me at least, made the meal totally worth the wait! 5 stars for Fernando!

Ive had a few issues with this location, long waits(short staffed) which leads to cold food to your table. Coffee is bland! But ive had great experience’s here dont get me wrong IHOP has a wide variety of foods that will make anyone of any ages happy. But of course the Pancakes is why you should be here, the choices of flavors used to be bigger but iverall great tasting food. Two stars might be an okay, it be a 4 star if they would staff appropriately

Denise was awesome! Super friendly and sweet. The strawberry crêpes — delicious. The chicken florentine crêpes — delicious. The Colorado omelette — delicious. Restaurant was clean, the portions big, and prices decent. One of the better ihops I have frequented.

Sloppy and poorly cooked food. Staff is awkward and unprofessional, we asked for 3 coffees and had to remind the server we wanted coffee,(I didn’t realize it was such a rariety to order coffee at Ihope!) then he only brought 2 cups. The coffee was cold, and had obviously just came off someone else’s table. I posted a picture to prove how sad this was.

I am giving five stars because we came for pancakes and they were delicious. The service was fast, accurate and they were friendly to my little girl. So for an IHOP, this is as good as it gets.

Exactly what you’d expect from an ihop… Not great but definitely not the worst. Slightly overpriced for mediocre food with weak but okay coffee. Given the competition in the walkable perimeter it is an acceptable place to stop in for breakfast while you get your tires changed at discount tire.

Visiting from out of town. I haven’t been to an IHOP in so long but family wanted to go for senior discounts. Party of 16 was easily managed by our server Natalie. She did great with us all, food came out all together and she made up for any delays. I tried the bacon omelette and the boyfriend had the Santa fe chicken fajitas omelette. Both good as I would hope this chain restaurant would have. I didn’t have super high expectations due to the normal chain. I’m glad that the family called ahead for the size of our party cause they accommodated us well that way. Great job Natalie keep up the great work.

So let’s be clear, this is IHOP. It’s not some fancy-schmancy café that is expected to deliver amazing service or food, it’s IHOP. My expectations start with that statement right there. And to be honest, walking through the doors meant that I was willing to put up with mediocre service and mediocre food. That, for me, was the price of being too lazy to cook my own breakfast. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! In the two different trips I’ve made to IHOP, I have not been disappointed and rather delighted. The servers don’t bother me, like EVER, and they’re super sweet and quiet.(I know, that makes it seem like I shoulda just stayed at home with perfect peace and quiet, but when you’re a single party, there’s no need for conversation and I’m not high maintenance.) So it’s SO nice to just have the minimal attention and the sweet few inquiries into my needs. On the subject of food, it ain’t like Momma cooked it! But it’s –still– good. The special French toasts are way too high in sugar but they’re super tasty and the crepes are good but I’m not a fan of canned fruit.(Then again, finding a ripe, juicy peach is nearly impossible in a grocery store.) But the eggs are cooked to perfection and I love that you can add on items to increase your protein intake. Also, I wish more restaurants left you a pitcher of your choice beverage. Okay, they just do it for coffee, but still, it’s a great idea. So am I an IHOP fan? Totally! It’s not the place I’d go for a nice brunch, but it certainly fits the bill when I want something consistent, good, and cheap. So I will be back… when laziness hits me and cooking breakfast it too much of an inconvenience. I haven’t been disappointed yet.

Wow. What a horrible location. First of all, they were super short-staffed. There was one server at breakfast time. Big no no. I felt for the guy. He was running around trying to take everyone’s orders, deliver drinks, and run food. A customer at a different table got upset and chased him down to order food. The food was below average from other IHOPs I’ve been to. The swedish pancakes looked like slop on a plate. The scrambled egg whites looked like the cook placed them in a blender after cooking them. Horrible. Also, when you walk through the front door, there’s a horrific smell. I couldn’t figure out what it was but it smelled like they were cleaning with something dirty. Blech! No thanks.

I have to admit, every time I’ve passed this place I’ve thought of the shooting tragedy. But I admired IHOP for moving beyond it, dusting itself off, and re-opening, whereas many places may not have. Stopped by for a weekend brunch before we caught the first showing of a movie. I don’t eat out for breakfast much, but when I do, I tend to go all out and get those combo platters that have a little bit of everything — a pancake, bacon, hash browns, eggs. I just had water to drink, but my part of the bill came out to more than $ 10. Service was fast. The food itself was decent, nothing memorable. Overall, I do prefer crispier bacon and I thought the hash brown serving was a bit on the skimpier side. This place seems to be doing well — there was a long line of people waiting, and they seemed to get people flowing in and out.

Wow, I came up from los Angeles for my nieces graduation yesterday and she wanted to do a post graduation breakfast. I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of food but more impressed by Maria our waitress. She was quick, patient, pleasant, and vigilant. She was the best. I would recommend sitting in her section and tipping her well. I have only wrote a few reviews but this inspired me to write one. I’m shocked there in not more.

I’m an out-of-town visitor, in Carson City for my mother’s memorial party. My mom liked to party like it was 1999, hence her move to The CS, party city for the geriatric set. Anyway, friends and family from all over the country, as far away as New Jersey, came to honor her, and I was one of them. Here’s the kicker. I have terminal cancer, and it may be the last time I see these folks. I had the brilliant idea of making breakfast reservations for the immediate family the day following the party. Some I hadn’t seen in 17 years. Being a Sunday, not much was open — at least, that a flat-lander could find. Saturday night, I called around, and hit on IHOP. It would not have been my first choice, but in Carson City, you don’t have many choices. I spoke to a gentlemen on the phone with an accent. I told him I had 13 people and would they make a reservation for 9:30 a. m? He said yes. I explained that many of us needed to travel that day, and we didn’t want to wait, would he be sure to set up the table? He took my name, my phone number, and assured me we’d have reservations. I called my entire family and told them to meet us there at 9:30 and I’d be buying breakfast. You can guess what happened when we arrived. They said they had no record of our reservation. I asked to talk to the manager, who came out and was very condescending to me. «The person on the phone shouldn’t have promised you that.» Yeah, but he did. The manager did find a piece of paper with my name and the number of my party scribbled on it, proof that I’d made the reservation — but did he make good? No. Oh, there were large tables there, families sitting together — but we didn’t have one. We had to have several booths, separate from each other. And, you know what? Not even a comped pancake or cup of coffee. So, Mr. Manager of the iHop in Carson City: you cost me, a Stage IV breast cancer patient, the opportunity to eat a last meal with her extended family. And, weren’t even nice enough to buy me an egg. If I were you Carson City breakfast eaters, I’dHOP on over to Grandma Hatties. I wish I had.

This is one of the best IHOP’s that I have been to in the Nevada/California area. They have a great wait staff and excellent service. Me and my husband have gone several times a mont over the last 2 years and have yet to be disappointed. We have 2 favorite waitresses Maria and Ofelia that are always prompt and accurate with our food. Being an ex truck driver I have been to my fair share of breakfast diners and this IHOP is the best. So, if you find yourself in Carson City Nevada and are in the mood for some good breakfast and fabulous service, stop on in.

My husband and I are, embarrassingly, almost regulars here — it’s the cheesecake pancakes(with defrosted strawberries scraped off). Today we had the absolute worst service ever here. We were sat in a room with a big party in the middle — they were extremely loud and cussing around all the families seated in the same room. No one acknowledged us for five minutes and every employee I saw looked mad and flustered. A busser even threw dishes into a dirty dish container in plain sight of the dining room! Our server was«running behind» according to one lady and we actually never spoke to another server. Everything we ordered was terrible! The coffee was cold and bitter even though I was told it needed to be made upon my ordering it so it should have been freshly made. Our eggs were not over-medium, more like barely cooked. Even the once-awesome cheesecake pancakes were lacking. Then it took almost 10 minutes for us to get our check. Sorry, IHOP but you finally lived up to your reputation for crappy food and crappy service.

So when he said«let’s go to IHOP» I was like, um… ok. The last time we had gone I was not very impressed. But what the hey, right? It was after eleven and we weren’t finding breakfast anywhere else that was any good so we went. It was CROWDED. I was afraid in the parking lot. But we were immediately seated and served. Just as I was lamenting having left my eyeballs in the car and not being able to iPhone the time away BAM my breakfast was in front of me. I had ordered the stuffed french toast with strawberries, two eggs over medium bacon and hash browns. NOM! The portions were perfect for breakfast, like I wasn’t sick the minute I ate, know what I mean? the eggs were actually medium, WHOAWHAT A CONCEPT cuz that’s how I ordered them! I have to say the french toast was yummy guys, good job. The price was fair and we were IN&OUT slip bam boom. That is what I want in a breakfast joint.

We don’t go to IHOP very often, and so we were pleasantly surprised to find several healthy options. If you need a fancy plate, napkins, quiet, and a waiter gussied up, this is probably not where you want to go. We both chose the blueberry nut pancakes and they tasted great. They were served with sliced bananas and the pancakes had blueberries embedded in them. The combo, along with the chopped nuts in the pancake, was very pleasant. My wife asked if she could substitute the ‘egg beaters’ with egg whites, and they, without hesitating, met her request. The coffee is on the wimpy side, and so I opted for water. I know how good the water is. The service was very satisfying, as my water glass was never empty, and this was a very busy Saturday morning. So you know, they do have a variety of traditional breakfast items, and so I’d conclude that there is something for every pallet in the place. Quick, efficient, affordable, this is not a bad combination. Fancy, unique, dazzling, these are not words to associate with the place. The bottom line, we’ll be back. It’s the right place for many occasions, but it is not your ‘special occasion’ destination.
