Great little place. Accidently found it when going to Adele’s for lunch. Adele’s was closed(bummer) but LA Bakery saved the day. Lovely bakery and delicious salads!

There is no place like this anywhere else in northern Nevada. Many regular selections of sandwiches, wraps, breakfast plates, and a huge variety of muffins, scones, and pastries. You cannot go wrong here with anything. Please open another place in Gardnerville, I beg you!

Omg, they had so much to choose from. Dessert selection was huge but coffee selection was great as well. We came for snack but the lunch selection looked great on the menu! We had couple of cake pop and also the Russian cake. There were yummy! They have lots of vegan choice as well. Very clean and super friendly staff! Normally I order straight coffee but they made toasted almond mocha coffee in a way I like and it was delicious!

Absolutely amazing sandwiches. They offer a little bit of everything here. Lattes are very good as well. Pricing is fair and offers great customer service.

Male owner treats female employee with complete disrespect in front of others. Will not do business at this bakery. This is America where women are treated with respect!

Love this place. Our go to bakery in Carson City. Beyond baked goods, excellent coffee, sandwiches and soup. Eat in or have them pack you a picnic lunch on your way to an adventure. The owners are super nice and accommodating. They have tempting individual quiches for sale and in the summer you can buy their homemade jams. The décor reminds me of places on Long Island, not overly fussy but still cute pastry coffee shop and they have free wifi. I highly recommend you pay them a visit.

Purchased my daughters birthday cake from here and it was so yummy. Slightly pricey for a ten year old’s birthday party but the best cake ever!!!

The food is decent. Smoothies decent. Baked goods are really good. Service is a little slow. If the customer service was better I would be a bigger fan of this place. I’ve had lots of problems with the delivery at my work and to my home. And the owners didn’t seem to be friendly to help with those problems. It takes a lot for me to not like a place. I try not to go anymore just because of the customer service I’ve experienced.

Stopped by here after my usual lunch fix at Phở Country whenever I’m in Carson City. I was excited that they have such a HUGE display of dessert items and everything looked wonderful! Lemons bars, different types of cheesecakes, red velvet cakes, macarons, cookies, everything you can think of. I ended up settling on the Pomegranate Mousse since the young lady behind the counter recommended it. Honestly I was a bit disappointed when I finally got to taste it when I got back to my hotel. The whipped cream on top was all dried out and petrified. I ended up picking off the entire top. I liked that the mousse wasn’t overly sweet, but it was just kinda blah too flavor-wise. I really wanted to like it but maybe it just wasn’t a good pick. I’d go back and try the other stuff some other time though.

I love going to LA bakery! They have delicious sandwiches and desserts. My favorite sandwich to get is the turkey melt, with a side of fries – what could be better? I also love that they have gluten free and vegan options available. While I’m not gluten free/vegan it’s nice to be able to find a place that has those options for desserts/lunch when picking a place to eat. Best sandwiches in Carson!

Great food, great service and wonderful looking pastries! They have a lovely display case of yummy looking pastries. To drink I got a toasted almond mocha latte. For 4.19 it was so good! Very tasty :) To eat I got the grilled cheese on sourdough. Amazing bread with three cheeses melted on it. So awesome. My boyfriend got the Chicken Sante Fe, which was amazing. Homemade chipotle aioli dressing was so good and moist chicken. You cannot get a better sandwich anywhere. This is my new favorite place with reasonable prices. Of course we couldn’t leave without getting desserts to go. The tiramisu just looks phenomenal. Haven’t tried it yet but I am sure it is heavenly. The owners were very nice and the servers were all friendly. This place is a must go to! Highly recommend it. Get some pastries to go! It is worth coming here.

The owners are friendly, available and care about their customers. I have Celiac Disease and I have many choices of delicious food to chose from on the menu here. My favorite items are the gluten fee wraps and the gluten free lemon bars are to die for! Some days the dining area can be very crowded so order early. Take out works too!

I’ve been here before couple years ago bought their cake and today I went here for gyro salad & their chocolate mousse. The gyro salad was complete with all the correct ingredients. The lamb cooked perfect, tender, spicy and not gamy. The veggies were fresh, crisp. The pita bread was perfect. The sauce taste was lemony flavor wasn’t taste like tzatziki sauce but correct me if I’m wrong. Overall worth it for the price. The chocolate cup was so beautiful, unique. The cup itself made by real chocolate. The mousse was very rich and creamy. Service was nice & friendly. Parking lot is very limited so you’ve to squeeze around the neighborhood. Good practice for your parallel parking

Yes, the LA Bakery. And here, I thought I was done with LA when I moved out of that place 25 years ago, dagnabit! My pops and I headed here after my bud suggested it. It’s tucked away pretty well in a small neighborhood. If you don’t know the back streets of CC(Carson City), use your GPS! The LA Bakery, as the name implies, is a bakery. That is what they are noted for. We didn’t go there for their baked goods! As you walk in, you walk past their baked goods case. It’s packed with all kinds of goodies. If you’re from LA or the Valley, you may think that they may have black & white cookies. Nope, didn’t see any there, but they did have baklava. But, onto our meal! We were greeted nicely when we walked in and given time to give the menu a cursory overview. We decided on Omelets. This is the type of place where you walk up to the counter, place your order and then it is brought to you. The coffee we ordered is self serve, just behind the counter to the left. It’s on the table against the wall. The paper taped to the wall denoted that it was low acid coffee. Hmm, I’ll try it. Considering I paid for it, figured, why not. We found a table sat down and relaxed. Ahhh, I love summer when the doors are open and the breeze comes through. :^) My dad tasted the coffee and wasn’t thrilled with it. I tasted it and realized that it tasted a bit on the lighter side. I didn’t mind at all. And, after a few more sips, my dad said it was growing on him too! The omelets arrived on rectangular plates. The plates were packed with the omelet, home style potatoes, toast, a packet of pepper, plastic fork and plastic knife. The omelets were prepared very well. Not over cooked and not runny! Seasoned nicely. They have a fair amount of choices to choose from including bagel sandwiches! They looked good and next time I go there will have to try one! Service was amply pleasant. My only buggaboo about this place was for the price that we paid, I would hope for real flatware and a pepper shaker. — — — — — — — — — — – Bottom Line Yes, but not too often. This is the cute home town place that you love to go to.
