They make their subs so amazingly fast it’s unbelievable. They have AMAZING food there. No matter what sub, if it’s an sandwich or lettuce wrap, it’s just so delicious. My friend who is allergic to gluten and dairy gets an lettuce wrap. She says that she loves that she can eat there. JJ’s has so many signs it really keeps me busy while eating. Also their chips are just so good. Also their cookies.

I’m from Seattle, and lived about 3 blocks away from my neighborhood store. It was a lunch staple 3 – 4 days per week. I love JJ’s. With that said, this was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had from them. Carson City, you are everything a JJ’s should be. My Beach Club was loaded with extra Sprouts, which you can’t even get in the Seattle market any longer, and the additional onions and vinaigrette were perfection. This sandwich weighed in at just under a ton. I’m wishing I would have ordered another for my road trip tomorrow. Not only that, but it was delivered freakishly fast, like under 10 minutes to the Motel 6.

Best sandwich place in town. The bread is great and the prices aren’t bad. They were also super fast. Need something that’s better than subway this would be your place.

I use to love this place but after having a liver transplant 6 months ago I have to have my meat heated so I asked if they could heat it and got straight NO! So back to subway or port a subs!

Expected better. The sandwhich was not good. Kept pulling brown lettuce out of the sandwhich. I did not want a huge meal but everything we asked for as an option was not available. And what kind of sandwhich place only has one option for cheese. Would much rather go to port subs.

Let me start this review by saying I love Jimmy John’s subs and have been a customer at the Reno locations for years. The staff at this location ruined my experience and order. This location took forever to get my order and even then it was messed up. Jimmy John’s is known for fast service and that is NOT what you’ll get here. All of the employees on the day I came in were young females that acted like they worked at a mall and didn’t care about anything they did. They worked at a snail’s pace, which was incredibly frustrating being that I chose the restaurant for their fast service, since I was in a rush. I asked for no guacamole and they still added it in. One of the girls was unpacking their nasty bacon to refill their counter and that must have confused them all because they added it to my sandwich, even though I didn’t order it and they did the same thing to the people that ordered before me. Bottom line, pick up the damn pace and quit hiring teeny boppers that don’t care about what they’re doing. NEVER coming back to this location.

Love it! Ridiculously fast service and amazing subs! The bread is always legit and the sandwiches are consistent.

My husband and I stopped in here at 8:30 pm May 28, 2015. We have never been to a ‘Jimmy John’s’. There were two workers in the shop. The male employee said something like ‘whadya want’? he was mumbling and difficult to understand. No, ‘hi, how ya doing? My husband attempted to ask him about the sandwiches, sizes etc. Again, the guy just stood there. We told him we had never eaten there before. He just stood there. He made our sandwiches and I said ‘thank you’. No response from him. I said it again. He said ‘oh. yeah’. We told him it was to go. He places the food on the counter. No bag, no napkins. I have NEVER had such an apathetic and rude experience at a fast food place in my life. I haven’t even eaten my sandwich. I would NEVER return to a place with such horrible customer service. Update: The sandwiches were bland, and not made to order. Back to ‘Subway’.

Unlike every other Jimmy Johns in the country, they were«unable» to add peppers to a sandwich, even when we asked the«manager». Also the slowest in food prep I’ve ever experienced. With only one customer in front of me and 3 people on the line took close to 5 minutes to get it done. Most Jimmy Johns I’ve been at around the country have the sandwiches almost done by the time I pay. «Freaky Fast» doesn’t live at this one

Was in town for soccer tournament and wanted to try out JJ’s(something new for us). Great location with a very clean interior and nice music playing. My boys and I loved the various trivia, quotes and signs. Tiles in the men’s room walls were funny! Food was served fast and was good but not great(why 4 vs. 5 star). Good value and we will try it again when the opportunity arises.

In my 30 + years of dealing with customers and the public, I have never been treated so discourteously in my life. My wife went to buy me a $ 9 sandwich(Italian style) and was immediately told they had NOWHITEROLLS — REALLY? In a sandwich shop? They were influenced into getting it on wheat berry bread — which they brought home — and tasted terrible! SOMESANDWICHESSHOULDONLYBEONWHEAT ! My biggest surprise was when I called the restaurant and asked for the manager — and was told I was neither forced to buy that sandwich(hmm… no white sub rolls??) AND I could go somewhere else to eat !! Apparently the north and south jimmy johns are owned by the same person — so I will NEVER be returning to either. Good luck to anyone who has a problem with the product you buy from this chain.

A 3 star sandwich but the delivery is fast which is good for 4 stars. But take off a star since they never seem to give you napkins!

Hmm gourmet sandwiches huh… please don’t go here if that’s what you want. This place makes subway look gourmet lol. Gross supermarket guacamole spread, so not fresh, and definitely not avocado, in fact nothing seemed too fresh about the sandwich except for maybe the bread. I’m from CA so maybe I’m spoiled when it comes to what gourmet is. Their prices are ridiculous for the quality they pump out. No choice on sizes. No kids menu. Their sandwiches are on basic plain sub rolls. I would have been better off going to the subway down a block and paid less money for a better quality sandwich. When I go into new cities, I like checking out the local spots and this definitely wouldn’t be one I would recommend. The only reason it didn’t get 1 star is that their staff is friendly and the place was clean, so I had to at least give them something for that. What can I say, I’m a fair gal lol.

Really tasty food as usual for JJs. The interior is really clean and the atmosphere is super casual and pleasant. The only reason I am giving them a 4 star instead of a 5 is because they just weren’t freaky fast like other JJs I’ve been too. Speed it up and you’ll be living up to your motto!

So I generally order a lot when i am having a lazy day but I think Im done. I usually order online, but when online is down and i have to call in… it’s a CLUSTER. I call the south store… they tell me im not in their range. I tell the guy to check again because i have been ordering from them since before the other one opened. He argues with me and says«well that because the other one wasnt open yet» I call the north store, get put on hold then told I’m not in their range and to call the SOUTH store. Call back and tell the guy he needs to get his shit together and kindly check again…“you don’t have to use profanity ma’am”…yes, yes i do. I just want a sandwich and you guys have NOCLUE where you deliver. screw this, i’ll order pizza. OLDREVIEW: So, I love the sandwiches. I order like twice a week because they are delicious and fast… .but. Their accuracy is HORRIBLE. If you like modifications to your sandwich or you have a deathly allergy. do not order from them! 8⁄10 times they dont add what I requested. Once they even forgot to put bacon on a sandwich that comes with bacon. Last time I added onion and extra cucumber. In the notes field I specifically asked them to double check for accuracy. Got the sandwich… without onions They seriously needed to implement a double checking system at this store. Fast isnt great if you aren’t delivering what the customer paid for.

Boring and very expensive. The #4 was so lame. They had the sandwich finished before I could say light mayo, or add cheese, or anything else. $ 8.11 for boring sandwich a bag of chips and a small drink. Freaky fast is not always good…

We drove by Jimmy johns and it smelled SO good so we decided to grab a to-go menu and order delivery for lunch. Overall I was disappointed in the food. It was just a sandwich. Not a bad sandwich, but not a good sandwich either. They have a very limited selection of meats and toppings and the condiments were used so sparingly that the sandwiches were dry. There was very little meat on the sandwiches as well. The one thing I can give then is the delivery was fast, less than 15 minutes, but unless you can’t or absolutely don’t want to leave your house and need delivery I suggest sticking with subway. They have better sandwiches and prices. I don’t know what the blissful smell was when we passed by Jimmy johns but their sandwiches do not measure up to it in the least.

Pretty good sandwiches, good priced. Bread is fresh baked daily, you can buy the day old bread for $.75. Service is very fast by the time you order, and find a place to sit your order is ready. Sandwich wasn’t spectacular, but good if your in a hurry.

Ah the fabled Jimmy Jams. Finally we cross paths. I tried the Vito which was nice for a 5.75 sandwich if you’re not totally starving. Quality over quantity(but it wasn’t exactly small either). Better than Subway or Quizmos for sure. Place is super popular at lunch time on a weekday. With the drive thru and delivery I was surprised how many people were eating in. Their«freaky fast» advertising is true to its word, too — dudes would actually full-on sprint from behind the counter out to the delivery car! Good first impression, will be back to one or another of these for Moar Sammich.

I judge my Jimmy John’s on how well, not how FAST, they make their sandwiches. I’m that annoying woman in line at Jimmy Johns asking them to customize my sandwich. Sorry to those folks behind me! I always order the same thing: #9 Italian night club — it’s the closest thing I know to a Philly style Italian hoagie. BUT. Light on the sauce(mayo and vinaigrette) No onions Extra lettuce — lots of it(my deluded brain thinks this makes it healthier) Cut in half(ostensibly to save half for another meal later — which I only seem to remember after I’ve devoured both halves) The sandwich came exactly how I ordered it — except they forgot to cut it in half. Not the worst tragedy. I witnessed a lot of newbies coming in for the first time and a bit overwhelmed, so I was impressed that someone always came out behind the counter to stand with them and go over the menu items. Granted, it was early in the day and not too busy, but I thought that was nice. They must pay a fortune in salaries here. I counted at least 6 people behind the counter doing who knows what. Perhaps they are still in training mode? PROS: They give you a nice sized cup(not a little dixie cup) if you want to just drink water. Fast, well-priced. Bread is made on-site and is fresh. CONS: Really loud in here
