I love coming to this place for a shake. The customer service I have experienced has always been wonderful and the service is fast. The food selection is typical burger joint food but still very good. It’s a great location because you can grab a bite and then go play billiards or bowl right after!

Burgers are yummy and the side salad was fresh, but the sea salt caramel shake? To die for! Split one with a friend because, let’s face it, you really don’t need one all to yourself! And, in case you’re wondering, our waitress was awesome also.

Yum. Always fantastic service. Patty melts and burgers, fries and onion rings. Waitress Michelle and the manager was awesome. Very attentive and thoughtful. This place never ever disappoints. Ever!!! 4.5 stars.

Pretty good for a chain restaurant. Went on a Tuesday and it was empty inside but the service was great, waitress was smiling and attentive. Baby got the chicken strips and was in love with the honey mustard. I got the philly cheesesteak and was not too impressed. Out in the bay they have cheese steak shops and this was a far cry from anything resembling that and at a much steeper price for inferior product. I digress. Next time I will try a burger.

Last I was in here I was on motorcycles with my Cuz, but this time I’m with my BF arriving by normal car. We were inn the mood for a burger and didn’t want to get all involved searching out a good burger or going all the way to Genoa or Reno, so Johnny Rocket’s here fit the bill. The prices here are very reasonable too.
Wow, this place is crowded on a weekend! We got a booth near the front. I see on the specials board there is a special of a Pastrami Burger for $ 7.35 and it comes with unlimited fries! Cool, that sounds like something to try! Since I wanna be a little healthy, we get the Crispy Chicken Club Salad ($ 7.00) to share as well as sharing the burger.
The server is all friendly and perky and takes our order. Just water to drink this time please. More and more people come on in while we wait. Our food arrives in short order and looks scrumptious. The portion of fries is a little small, but no biggie, we just order a refill! The salad looks very nice as we get the ranch dressing on the side. I bite into the burger and, yes! the pastrami flavor comes through mixed with the beef patty. What was different was the inclusion of pickles, it added that deli flavor to the pastrami. All in all a very nice burger and a good companion offering to the Blue Cheese Burger Special which is now a tie for my first choice here. The salad is nice as the chicken is warm so you know it was just cooked. All the lettuce is first rate, no brown leaves to be found, I hate when that happens!
It was a great lunch at a great price, less than $ 20 bucks for a good lunch on Carson City. I’ll stop here again for sure!

Loved it! Most friendly staff. Service was fast and genuine. The burgers were great. My. first time here and I will def eat johnny rockets again. The restaurant was very clean and very staffed. I. give it 5 stars!

What isn’t great about JR’s loveeeee their food employees are rad and the food is amazzzzzzing !!! Can’t wait to come back !!!

On vacation with our Blue Nose Pitt Bull MistyBleu and called the restaurant to see if it was ok to bring her and they said they had outdoor seating that was considered their pet friendly area and breed was no problem.
They were very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. A special thanks to Jessica and Tamara to make sure my four legged member of the family had water or anything she needed.
The food was 1^st class everything was cooked perfectly and the burgers were tasty.
The fries and onion rings were hot and good
Root beer floats were great.
I recommend this place to anyone who loves burgers especially on a nice day and take your four legged friend. You can order a plain hamburger patty with no seasoning for a special treat for them.
