Called to see if they were open so I went on my B-day to shoot a couple of racks. I read some reviews and was impressed. My visit was late May. I went into the front counter and asked what rates were and the attendant said $ 30.00 hr. I said«WHAT» than he said $ 10.00 I think if I was someone who didn’t know better probably would have walked out or paid. No telling if he would have fessed up and said no it’s only $ 10. The tables are Avg. cloth looks to be new but poor quality. slow cloth rails OK. Was pleasant shooting till 2 couples came in and played the juke box, this is where I have an issue it was way too loud. I expect a classic place to shoot real billiards to be quiet enough to concentrate on positioning anyone who shoots pool at a good level knows how distraction can effect your game the music was blaring. After shooting for 35 – 40 min. passing my 30min $ 5. into the 1 hr. cost I left could not stand the level of music. So when I check out to retrieve my license and pay the sign in sheet only had my name on it which tells me that if you know the counter attendant you don’t have to pay cause with 4 other shooting their names were not on the sign in sheet for check in time or ID. Fair is Fair but not going back to someone that will comp 4 people and try to stick it to 1.

Carson Lanes has the best tables in Carson City. Nice, family, non-smoking atmosphere. And they treat the APA league very well!

This has to be the nicest Billiard Room I’ve ever seen. Brand spankin’ new with high quality tables including a 9 footer. One of the only SMOKEFREE Billiard rooms in Carson City. It’s attached to a Lounge which appears to be undergoing a major renovation. This place ROCKS!
