2.5 I have to update again because last time I’d been there, they didn’t have the pomegranate tart flavor or any usual strawberry flavor! I mean c’mon, who doesn’t like strawberry which is common at every froyo place in the entire world, well at least we talking about USA. So the new fruity one is watermelon sorbet. My point is this place doesn’t carry enough of choices for fruity flavors to choose. So I’m still hoping in the next couple months they’ll carry more fruity flavor than just sweets flavors. Because in Reno, I’ve been there & they’ve the fruity flavors more than one so I’m still hoping for the best because I like this place for froyo treats in town. So c’mon Carson!

A zillion flavors of self-serve frozen yogurt to choose from as well as blends. And of course you can choose a bit from any and all of the flavors to make your own mix. Then you add a topping, or two, or ten. They charge by the weight of the contents. I wish they offered one smaller sized cup to help with my lack of self-control when I’m loading up.

Yogurt beach is the best yogurt joint in town. Super clean, staff is friendly, and the salted caramel is a must try. Atmosphere is super cute with the surf board theme. Well priced.

I wish they would have more than just 1 type of no sugar added yogurt. The only flavor of no sugar added was the cheesecake flavor and it tasted extremely sweet and sour.

Yeah, this is a pretty A-OK place. Normally I’m more of a gelato girl, rather than frozen yogurt. I figure if you’re gonna go for sweet ice creamy stuff, go all the way and the heck with calories and fat content … the more the better! So, I never really gave much thought to frozen yogurt, despite it’s popularity, I’m still thinking DIET food! So, this new business Yogurt Beach just opened next to my fave pizza place in Carson City and near the Starbucks, of which I frequent. OK, maybe I’ll give this frozen yogurt a try. I’m just in Carson for a couple of days before I head out again Entering, it’s all new and shiny and clean. I have no idea how this whole thing works, like do I get served like an ice cream shop, or what. Turns out it’s self serve. The pricing is easy. No itemized pricing on sizes, different toppings or what not. It’s all .44 cents and ounce. You get a cup and fill’er up with the flavor of yogurt you like. I think there are like 8 flavors. You can mix and match anything. Free tastes are available if you like, just like an ice cream shop! The dispensing machines are just like soft serve ice cream machines. Then there are all the toppings. TONS! you got your cookies, candies and even fresh fruit, like pineapple, blackberries, strawberries even boba balls, not sure what that is but they have them. So you can see quite the choices. I settled on a 2 flavor helping of the Mocha and Raspberry Sorbet and added just a few blackberries. You need to be careful dispensing the yogurt, it comes out really fast and will fill the cup fast. Now, since you are paying by weight, the stuff adds up faster than you might think. I just got what I though was a little of each and it didn’t even fill the cup. Maybe halfway. The price came out to about $ 4.50. I could see how one might just get what seem good and fill up the cup with toppings and yogurt … BAM you got an $ 8.00 order! Bring kids here and they go wild and before you know it that’s $ 30 bucks! I’m just saying, if you want to keep a reasonable price, watch the weight! I do like the nice outdoor area out back and the place seems really clean. While I was eating my yogurt, I was getting filled faster than I thought. If I got a full cup of this stuff, there’s no way I could eat all that. A little goes a long way. I did like the flavors. The flavor was not as intense as gelato and I didn’t get that super fatty rich feel in my mouth, but I guess maybe it’s healthier. Well, now after pizza, I can get dessert here and coffee at Starbucks! I didn’t get the same eyeball rolling back happy feet reaction I get with rich gelato, but the yogurt tasted pretty good still.

Love the atmosphere; the kids always have a wonderful time going to Yogurt Beach and adding their own toppings. I do wish they had smaller cups. All they have are these really large ones to use.

I like this place. It is about time a good place has opened in Carson. I like all the choices for toppings. Clean and fresh. I like all the fruit choices for my yogurt. They have several favors! So let’s keep going so they can stay in business. I think it is funny how people complain on how business don’t last but when you ask them they say I only went once or twice. Well! a business needs a constant flow of business to survive. You can’t just go once and expect them to stay in business. Support our local businesses and go out for a treat!

I just about peed my pants when I heard Yogurt Beach was coming to Carson… and did I hear that right… only 2 minutes away from my house??? Here is the deal if you have never been to Yogurt Beach… just go. And here’s why: it tastes amazing and natural, lots of flavors to choose from, a gazillion toppings and if you are feeling fancy they even have chocolate sauce, caramel, whipped cream and sprinkles… The staff are friendly and don’t forget your punch card!!!

Best frozen yogurt in town! OK, that’s not saying much, but it really is terrific. Many delicious flavors including at least 1 non-dairy, and all the toppings you could want to choose from, including fresh fruits, chocolates, cookies, and(of course!) sprinkles. Fun tropical décor and very clean. Oh, and my kids were excited to see boba as a topping. Definitely recommend.

The frozen yogurt here is the best in town with the largest selection of toppings I have ever seen anywhere, plus a fruit topping buffet!!! This new location is HOT, HOT, HOT! Young dudes behind the counter with great smiles and upbeat attitude. Beach décor with surfers in mind, fun tunes fill the air, great atmosphere and so family friendly. Lots of chairs along the side of the shop AND a great patio to the rear of the store. This is a fantastic addition to Carson City and specifically the north end. This has just become my favorite business to visit regularly. GOBEACHYOGURT! THANKSFORCOMINGTOCARSONCITY!

This place is frozen yogurt heaven! Over ten delicious flavors(yes I have sampled them all!) a boat load of toppings(though IMO the yogurt is so good it doesn’t need toppings) and the décor is adorable. They opened April 4th and I’ve already been there 3 times(today’s April 9th and I’m thinking of going back tonight: p) I’m trying to pace myself lol. Also, the employees are very helpful(letting me try all the flavors) and nice. Great job Yogurt Beach! Can’t wait for my next«vacation»!
