Del Taco

i was super excited to try the «EPIC» CHICKEN AVOCADO BURRITO
i Love avocado so much and was anticipating to eat this after seeing the many billboards while driving .
we went on sunday night… ordered 1 epic chicken avocado burrito and took it home to eat
took 1 bite… then 2 bites… then 3 bites and then i said «where is the avocado?!»
i opened the entire burrito up and there was not a piece of avocado in there.
how can you guys leave out the avocado?! i wanted to go back so bad and complain but it was late already and decided to just bite my tongue and go to bed furious.
I’m sorry but you guys are lame. thank you for ruining my night.

I frequent this location as it’s one of few quick/​fast food places near a facility I inspect. Drive thru is always fast and my order is always correct. I stayed healthy with a chicken and avocado salad this visit.

I never really ate Del taco before 2016 and I regret not doing so. I always get a spicy grilled chicken burrito and soft tacos and have never been anything but extremely satisfied with the speed, quality, and friendliness of the service at this location. Thanks for making my night, twice a week.

I received excellent service from the manager. I stopped in to pick up breakfast for my coworkers. After everybody deserves something nice, and I received wonderful treatment from the employees here exactly as ordered. I like to come to this place because it’s close to work, and they always treat me well. If you are near here, come on down and place your order.

This is probably the best Del Taco I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of del tacos. I used to work next door to it & I would come and eat around 2 times a day sometimes three and the staff was very nice Efrain was amazing he even knew me by name there is also a white lady who is nice to me but I can’t remember her name I no longer work at that place and cannot come to this Del Taco anymore but I will miss it as it is the best Del Taco I’ve been to with great people there thanks

I come to this Del Taco once in a while to pick up lunch at work since its around the corner somewhat. Nothing outstanding or different from any other ordinary Del Taco. It is kinda hard to get into due to traffic, construction in the area. It has a drive thru small parking lot nothing new just a pain to get in and out of during the lunch hour.

Had lunch there went threw the drive thrue. went pretty fast was not really a big wait. Fries was hot freash out of the fryer. Double del was made just right. Price avarage. Drink was a little more ice than should have been. Not enough napkins but they did ask if I needed hot sauce or katchup. over was nice

I don’t tend to eat fast food, and I am health conscious. SOOOO the fact that Del Taco started making Turkey tacos with 33% less fat caught my eye. I was skeptical of the flavor — although I cook at home with turkey sometimes. I was so happy with the turkey taco taste! (say that fast 3 times!!)
It really helps me out in a pinch to have a fast food go-​to!

Pulled off the freeway to grab a quick bite. Saw the Del Taco sign off the freeway. The first thing I notice is how incredibly clean the place is. The staff on this particular Friday evening was amazing. The drive-​through is going non-​stop and customers are pouring in the door (I decided to dine in). The whole entire time I was here the staff was super professional. My food was ready at the counter and the staff treated me and everyone else like we were the only ones on the restaurant. They must have a really good training program. I’m typing this as I’m enjoying my turkey hard shell taco. I can’t believe I’m actually writing a review about a Del Taco, but I’m seriously that impressed.

my first experience at a Del Taco. the restaurant was clean, the staff was helpful, and they got my order right. what more can you ask for from a fast-​food joint?
the parking lot was busy, but not waiting on the street crazy.
the food was pretty good (got the Macho Taco and Macho nachos).
location is pretty horrible. there’s a median on one side and it’s hard to get there on your way to the freeway from 223^rd.

When I get into work at 0700 hrs, I’m usually dragging ass and hung over. In the morning, we get coffee or tea, eat some snacks (one of my buddies eats oatmeal out of an M & M coffee cup and another has fiber cereal with bananas and almonds every freaking day. WTF? I can’t talk shit though cuz I have my cup o’noodles on a daily basis), we bull shit for a bit…“What you got going on this weekend? What did you do last night? How was that movie? How was that date? Did you bang her?” etc. etc. Then there’s the infamous question, «Whatchu got for lunch kid?» A lot of people bring lunch, but me? I usually have to pick something up. Note: In my apt., I only have a mini fridge, filled only with coors light of course, don’t own real plates or silverware, and have no pots or pans. So it’s obvious that I don’t cook. So with that said, my answer to the lunch question is usually «Del Taco or Subway.»
Del Taco is my go to guy for fast food. Since I’m a creature of habit, I almost always get the same shit. I’ll always order a random combination of the following, these will always be legit…
Spicy Chicken Burrito
Del Beef Burrito
Del Combo Burrito
Classic Tacos
Macho Nachos
French Fries
and my favorite thing to get here — Chili Cheese Fries with some Del Scorcho hot sauce.
The only thing about the Chili Cheese Fries… My stomach and Chili are arch-​enemies. It’s like Optimus Prime vs. Megatron, Tupac vs. Biggie, Dr. Dre vs. Easy-​E, Suratt vs. Veloz. Straight up foes.
So once I get back from lunch I’m usually looking for the «Powerful One Drops.» Most Japanese people know what i’m talking about.

Since I ate here for the first time couple of months ago I come here sometimes for breakfast.
Food: It’s OK, but the burrito tortilla is not as good as Gardena or Barstow’s tortillas. They don’t warm it long enough I think, not sure, just not as tasty.
Atmosphere: Around 6am it’s often empty inside but the streets are full of morning traffic, both on 223^rd and Wilmington, I mean full from cars to 18 wheelers.
The hustle and bustle of the street somehow feels different than, say, Down Town LA’s or Torrance’s. Somehow it feels like small town traffic with everyone heading to work at the only company in town, the oil refinery just yards from this Del Taco, that Huge refinery jutting out from the ground (looks huge close up), with people moving about on the streets in their cars like working ants, me included, sitting idle and chewing on food instead of carrying it to the nest.
I don’t know if the sight is sad or good or what but to me it’s mesmerizing at times, reminds me slightly of the movie Metropolis (One of my favorite black and white movies).
The service is fast and curt, no issues. This place is peaceful inside and out, at least early in the morning, just don’t walk onto the street and you’re fine.
