I think I just received the best customer service ever!!! Bill the store manager is brilliant. I was returning a mis-delivered item and came to find out I hadn’t received everything I had ordered. Bill handled the situation like a pro. I am thoroughly impressed.

I’m starting to dread coming here. Unfortunately this place has become a necessary part of our lives since they have some great designs and its reasonably priced. Just seems like we have to plan the day around a trip here cause it really does suck up a lot of time coming out and navigating through everything. They cater to your day trip with food and a play area for the kids. Just check the kids in and you’re good to shop in peace for an hour. Then pick them up and eat some pizza, meatballs and ice cream. Quality has gone down though. Those Swedish meatballs used to be one of the reasons why we wanted to come here. Now they seem to just be like a bag of frozen Costco meatballs that they add their lingonberry sauce to. I recall getting more meatballs before as well. Oh well, this place definitely caters to the masses.

Worst customer service. I have more than 30 minutes waiting just to return summer stuff. The place is empty and employees attend the same two customers. There’s still people waiting.

One of my favorite places to buy accent items for my home. I picked up some cute little artificial plants and shelves on yay last visit and let me tell you it looks awesome. And the price can not be beat.

This Ikea location is much nicer and easier to navigate than the burbank location. While all Ikea’s are frustrating to walk through… getting to and from the building itself is much easier than the burbank one. the burbank location had us wanting to give up just trying to go through parking. the last time i was here(about a month ago) they were going through construction/renovation and didn’t have any of the art/frame stuff out which is why we had to drive to the burbank location

The rep in charge of delivery and assembly was not very helpful, really bad experience, I paid for delivery, assembly but I didn’t even need the assembly, she should have told me that for this item there is no need for assembly. A waste of $ 39. I wish that they can be more helpful with providing details on whether the customers needs it or not. Very bad customer service. Thanks.

This is for the Black guy with a heavy account working at checkouts. Some of my purchase got mixed up with mine. The customer behinds me points out that some of the purchase are his, and this clerk had the audacity to throw his purchases back onto the belt. Then he yanks my card out my hands when it didn’t swipe and threw it back at me. Is it too hard for you to hand back a customers card? Send this guy back to training.

This IKEA is massive. It’s a maze and you can easily get lost. It has everything that you would need to dress up your home. Prices vary. Some items are very low while others are more than expected from Ikea. Overall, this is a furniture warehouse that makes shopping convenient.

IKEA is always a fun trip! I wish there were more staff within the hallways to answer questions and give suggestions on products. It feels as if you are on your own trying to maneuver through the ikea maze. It was nice towards checkout the men helped lift my dresser for me into a dolly as well as help me to the car.

TLDR: Pretty standard Ikea store, but customer service is rather lacking. PRODUCTS: In general, Ikea products run the gamut from flimsy and cheap to nice but pricey. I personally really enjoy meandering through the maze and pretending to live in different rooms, but there are also maps posted so that you can see where you’re going and where the shortcuts are. SERVICE: I was there on a Friday afternoon when it was pretty empty, but none of the staff seemed terribly friendly or helpful. That’s pretty disappointing, considering it wasn’t even hectic in there. FOOD: Tasty and cheap, you can get ten Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, gravy, and lingonberry jam for $ 5! I sometimes randomly crave them haha. PARKING: There’s a giant parking lot around the store.

03/10/2016 Late Post This is the happiest place on earth for me! I love love love the AS-IS portion of Ikea. I have found soo many great items. I’m always willing to go to my happy place.

Yes, it’s a maze, and if you don’t know what you’re doing, you can get stuck here forever, but once you figure out all the shortcuts, etc., it’s a breeze. Every time I come in, I grab a frozen yogurt, because it’s cheap and always hits the spot. I’ve been coming here ever since I was a little kid, and just like before, I always navigate the store backwards. I come in through the registers and head straight to the As-Is section. Over the years, we’ve picked up a lot of amazing deals here. One time, we got a cabinet because the legs were not even, but when we got it home, we found out that all you had to do was screw the legs up or down to adjust. In the end, the cabinet was perfect and discounted for nothing! Yay!

Who didn’t grow up hanging out at IKEA?! My parents took me all the time. Who doesn’t enjoy going to IKEA on Sundays?! After church or to walk off the big brunch. Who doesn’t go to IKEA to grub?! Meatballs, GOOD. Gravy, GOOD. Lingonberries, GOOD. or JUSTBECAUSE?! I almost forgot, the AS-IS Section is a MUST too! I’m like a kid when I’m there. I half run to the back area just to see if there’s a good find at the AS-IS. I freakin’ love IKEA to pieces. Most of my furnitures and home decors come from IKEA. From bedroom to kitchen and living room necessities, IKEA has got it all. TMI but even my room is painted BLUE like IKEABLUE! I was really into IKEA when I lived away from home during my college years. My first apartment in Westwood, then I moved to dtLA, both apartments screamed IKEA!!! I was slightly obsessed with changing my bed sheets because of all the cool designs they carried. They always have new ones. For a while, I really wanted to collect them all. HA! If you need any help on the floor, ask for HOLLY! She’s awesome. Then, my kitchen consisted of table cloths and plates and cups from here as well. I stirred away from the knives, pots/pans and spoons/ladles and all that because I prefer getting those from Sur La Table/Chef’s Toys/Chef Smart. Sorry, IKEA. Being a chef, I prefer the REAL long-lasting materials. I doubt there’s a soul that hasn’t been in IKEA but if there’s a lost one or two out there, I highly recommend to start on the 3rd floor. Take the escalator to heaven, I mean. you know which one. Great view! Or the elevator by the Kid’s Playplace on the 1st floor. And yes, you’re more than welcome to leave your kid/s at the DAYCARE!(: Don’t take shortcuts. Unless you’re just in there for a thing or two && you know exactly where it is. WHICH I MUSTWARNYOU, IKEAISCURRENTLYUPDATINGHALFOF2NDFLOOR. There is NOMORECAFE on the 2nd floor, say bye to Paninis & Salads. I never had a chance to try it. I went in today but just my luck, it was taken out 3 months ago. SAD. Thanks to Chris from the BISTRO for letting me know. He always helps me out. Great service and he’s always so nice and upbeat. He’s a great worker. HOTDOG price went up from 50 cents to 75 cents! Lame but they still have a HOTDOGCOMBO(2 hot dogs & a drink) for $ 2. The 10pc MEATBALL plate is $ 5. It used to come on a black, sturdier plastic plate with clear covers for TO-GO. It also used to have 15pcs with a good amount of mashed potato and gravy, cracker & lingonberry jam. The quality went down so that’s a shame. Good thing the lady was nice enough to give me extra plates to cover my orders since I wanted them for take out. Pizza and cinnamon roll were also average. The food quality was a disappointment. I’m just really thankful for the great service once again from Chris and his crew. SUNDAY, 2÷7÷16, 3PM.

−−10÷100 reviews for 2016– I absolutely love IKEA. I always come here when I have nothing else to do, when I’m hungry & need a quick bite to eat while on a budget, or when I’m in dire need of really cute, affordable furniture. IKEA meets all of my needs. This three-story piece of art has my eyes glowing from start to finish. I basically want everything from this store. From artsy rugs/paintings to bedsheets and futons, they have everything! I also like the pre-set up kitchens and living rooms that they have. They have great designers that put up examples of rooms to give you ideas of what you want for your house. Their employees are very knowledgeable especially when it comes to building certain items such as futons, dressers, tables, bunk beds, etc. Now let’s talk about their cafes. There’s one on the first floor and one on the second floor. On the first floor they serve plates of Swedish meatballs with mashed potato and a berry jam, $.50 hotdogs, breakfast for a dollar and pizza. On the second floor I haven’t really explored too much, But I know they have Panini’s, salads, dessert, and other stuff. My personal favorite is the Swedish meatballs on the first floor. It is such a great deal for a plate of food. I usually drench the whole thing with ketchup and mix the berry jam with everything because it is just so good. You have to try for your self.

Hej! Ikea! There is nothing to rate Ikea against, except other Ikeas. The OC Ikea has a nicer cafeteria, larger showrooms, and bigger seconds section, but I have always found it hard to track someone down there. I was surprised to come here on a Sunday morning at 1030 and be in an Ikea like it was my private shopping experience, well actually one time when they used to open the cafeteria for breakfast, I didn’t know the showroom was closed so I walked in and went up the stairs. Eventually when I went up to an employee to ask Malm related question, they said, by the way, do you know we don’t open the showroom for another hour. Bwa ha ha ha! Two areas that can suck are the merch pickup and the returns which is like a waiting room a pediatric clinic sometimes. Getting back to the cafeteria, $ 1 froyo, yes! $ 1 for two hotdogs, mmmmmm I will pass. The frozen crepes and Swedish meatballs are OK, but the most awesome thing this the Glögg around holiday time. Instant mulled wine, you just need to do a one to one mixture of two buck chuck and a bottle of Glögg. Or if you like it a little stronger, then two or more bottles. Cheers!

Had to go pick up a chair and ottoman. It was a quick stop but I was able to get in and get out!!! And they have so many things to choose from. I got a drink while i waited for them to pull my furniture! They have a great snack bar to preoccupy you for a while! Thanks ikea for being the perfect distraction for a while!

I came here for the furniture… haha alright who am I kidding, I am a foodie and I really came here for the meatballs! I’d never ever tried the meatballs here but thanks to my Unilocal friends I had to check it out and was so amazed when I did. Meatballs are only $ 6 and comes with about seventeen meatballs, mashed potatoes and lingonberries. It is such a good deal! Plenty of delciious meatballs and enough to share. The meatballs are tender and the mashed potatoes are nice and soft. The lingonberry sauce isn’t bad either! For dessert, I decided to split a cinnamon bun with my friend. It is $ 1 and also a nice deal. A $ 1 gets you cinnamon bun that is sweet and soft. It’s the meatballs however that really won be over. In fact, I liked it so much that I decided to buy one of their meatball family freezer packs. Yum, I’ll be making my own Swedish meatballs for dinner soon! Hehe! Yay Ikea! You had me at meatballs…

This is so close to wear I live so I always like to come here and check out what they have! I’ve been looking for a vanity for my room. I saw online what i wanted and decided to come and make my purchase. The staff was really nice and helped me pick out what I needed and also made some nice suggestions. This place is so big I never feel like I saw everything lol. But i finally saw what I wanted and went downstairs to claim them. It was soo heavy! I needed a worker to help me out loading them on my cart & in my SUV. The worker was nice enough to lend a hand. He even answered all my questions about building the desk/drawers. I am very pleased with my experience here, and I love my new vanity! Check out the pics! :)
