Vamara’s Candles

What the random. I never even knew that this place existed until a day ago.
I live right by where this store is located in this plaza on Carson and Avalon/​Bonita, but I never really bothered to walk around and examine the stores.
I finally decided to go in (super random) and ended up walking into this store. They sell candles, oils, body lotion, and other random stuff, but it’s quite nice.
The owner was so kind, and literally waited patiently and gave me a few suggestions while i went through an entire basket of body oils and smelled every one to try to find one that I liked. HE ALL THE BODY OILS HIMSELF! ($ 4.99 each!) Very impressive.
The body oils supposedly last longer than perfume, and it’s WAY cheaper (for those who wear perfume. I don’t, but whatevs).
I’ll be back for more car freshener thingies, some candles, and body oil. Noice.

Best place to buy quality scented candles! The owner is very knowledgeable and answers all your questions. My favorites are the Wood Wick candles, they have great fragrances that will make your home smell so great! They sell a great variety of EVERYTHING!!! Check them out, the owner is super nice & the employees give great customer service! They’re located in the South Bay Pavilion (aka Carson Mall) going towards Sears. Good time to start stocking up for Christmas gifts!!!

My mom loves this store because they have a huge selection of scented oils. If you want a specific scent, the guy who owns the store can mix it to your liking. They use their own scented oils to make candles and incense you can purchase for a pretty good price.
The thing that is amazing are their tealight candles. You can get 100 for 6 dollars and they last for about 4.5 hours. There’s no cheap wick smell or anything like that. They’re comparable to tealights from the White Barn Candle Co. you can purchase at Target.
I personally like this store because the service is good and the scents are great. If you use scented oil warmers, these are the best. The smell permeates through my entire house even if only one is used, covering everything up from Asian cooking smell to freshly laid cat poop. It is a great alternative to expensive Glade Plug Ins and the such.
For those of you who aren’t pyros or into smelly stuff, they have random gift items here also. It is worth stopping by on a random afternoon.

What a quaint gift store this is.
They have one of the largest high end candle selections in the SouthBay area, featuring more than a handful of Soy Wax products.
They also sell other products (mostly imported) such as figurines, purses, jewelry boxes and crosses.
If you like their display furniture, it is also for sale. Most of their furniture are handcrafted items imported from India.
The owners are nice and very helpful.
