The food was ok. No smiles on people’s face, I felt depressing to eat there lol. People speak so loud in Vietnamese in the kitchen. I wished I had ear plugs with me bla bla bla…

This is the usual spot for us in Carson. I ordered the prince bowl while baby girl ordered phở noodles with no meat. The broth is ok. Good portion of meat: brisket, rare steak, tripe, meatball, fatty brisket. The spring rolls aren’t too bad either. The dipping sauces are ok. Service is average, depending on who you get. There is one server who answers the phone for to go orders and is very rude! Downgrade from 4 stars when it first opened down to 2 today. Food is moderately priced. Overall, an ok phở spot. Nothing extraordinary but at the same time nothing bad.

I love going here during the weekends. The staffs are friendly. The house is not too crowded so you can sit down, relax, and really enjoy your meal. My favorites are their Bò Luc Lac with white rice, and their house special rice combo.

Aside from the horrible customer service, pretty decent phở. One of the guys refused to give me the hot red chili sauce because he said it’s the same thing as the siracha. So why are they in different bottles?

I really do love this place. I like to go here after work or class to decompress. Never really plan it but just go for it. Quick service, great broth, and nice environment.

So good! Friendly staff. Quick service. Always leave satisfied. The regular size phở plenty. I’m addicted cuz it’s so yummy. Hard to find because it’s around the side and facing the street but parking is easy and once you know it’s there, you’re good to go.

This place was dead when my cousin and I came in. And what I mean by that is there were no one eating in there. We gave it a shot anyway. We ordered phở of course, and we got to choose what meat we wanted in them. The soup was good and not watered down like some phở places. The water was tap water and I hate tap water, I don’t know why they don’t really have customers coming in but it’s a decent phở place. After the meal you get a free hot pudding dessert which was quite good and would love to just get a big bowl of it. It was clean in there from what I could see. The prices for phở ranges from 7 dollars to about 9 dollars depending what meat you get in them.

I really enjoyed the food but something had me disturbed. The nice guy serving me coughed and spit in the sink next to the counter right in front of me. I almost gagged and ran out.

Came here on a cold rainy day after reading the rave Unilocal reviews about this place because honestly a delicious hot bowl of phở + cold rainy day = happiness. When I got here during lunch there was about a 5 – 10 min wait and the first thing I noticed was the phở of the person sitting by the waiting area. The phở looked BOMB, it wasn’t the typical pale soup with meat and noodles, but instead had that very rich brown flavorful looking broth. I ordered the phở king way bowl and an order of the 5 piece egg rolls. The phở king way bowl came out piping hot and was BIG and I’m a big guy. The soup was amazing and the meats were good. The only gripe I had with the phở was that I felt that some of the noodles had cooked together. All and all I would return for more.

Six months ago, I started working nights in the bldg one over from Phở King in Carson so it is a quick walk without having to move my car. The hot Xtra Large soup is so good on those cold nights! Unless I stop in before work and don’t have enough time, I always get the same thing. I come here at least 2 – 3 times per month. It’s ridiculous bec I’ll walk in and before I even sit down, the staff already know what I want! When I don’t have the soup, I’ll get the egg rolls and garlic noodles. I’ve also had the Thai tea and coffee. The tea has caffeine so you’ll want that if you need to stay awake!

Used to always go to Blue Lotus til one day the service was just plain rude and tried to sit my family and I at 2 dirty tables then get mad because we wanted the seats wiped and tables to be bused before we sat. We left and Unilocaled any Phở neat us in Carson and Phở King Way came up thank goodness been coming here now for 6 months and I like the service with always smiles. Quick to please customers no questions or disputes … Very quick also.

I really hate seeing how many bad reviews phở king way has been getting now. My boyfriend and I have been regulars here for almost 3 years. We’re here at least once a month, sometimes more during the cold seasons. We all know by now the service isn’t the friendliest, but we’re not here for the service, we’re here for the food. Or to be more specific, the phở. We never get rude waiters. Serious looking, sure, but rude; no. Our food is always hot and just as tasty and satisfying as the last time. Even after 2 plus years, we never have problems. No dirty tables, no bugs, no horrible service. Maybe we’re just easy to please, but I do know that even after wandering to another local phở spot, I still come back here. The egg rolls are the best! Chicken fried rice is delicious too, although, I usually just stick to a one meat phở, egg rolls and a thai iced tea. Loyal customer here, despite all the terrible reviews.

Me: Say the name of this place with the correct pronunciation. Oldest Kiddo: Phở-King-Way(pause)…uncontrollable giggling! Love my baby girl! Phở King Way«where we treat you like royalty.» is a chill spot for a quick lunch and you want that lunch to be Vietnamese. PKW has all usual items on the menu. Phở, Bánh Mí and of course rolls and plated items. I had the Phở Ga cause its what I always crave. Mmmmm… wellllll it was just above average. I thought the broth was a bit too garlicy and the noodles where kinda tough. On the bright side the service was fast and polite and the price was right on! I recommend you quench your thirst with a Young Coconut water. Refreshing and lots of coconut added to it(see pic). OVERALL: Sure Id come back. After trolling the posted pictures of this place they certainly have plenty to choose from. Besides, who doesn’t love saying«Phở-King-Way» all day long? Ay los watcho Amigos.

Here’s what you need to know: 1. The tables had the dirty dish towel stink it. 2. Service was spotty but they were all Vietnamese and sometimes friendly. 3. The iced tea came with a bit of protein surprise in the form of a dead fly. 4. The order for table(phở, bahn mi and beef entrée) didn’t come out together and with a bit of a wait in between. 5. The flavor of all three dishes was just meh. Broth in phở was a bit watery, the bean sprouts were not fresh; super skimpy on the meat but generous with noodles. The beef entrée tasted like Chinese stir fry with and the bahn mi didn’t have pâté but the crusty French bread was good. 6. Prices were reasonable. Our second time here and maybe the last. Conveniently located but just meh.

If it was based on customer service the review would be 2 stars. I don’t consider this spot to be an ideal place for high customer service standards. It’s more of a place to go for good phở if you’re in the area. The food is good, I’d stick to anything that’s not seafood related. Also note that the regular bowls are tiny, very tiny.

I’m gonna take a star off because there was a miscommunication between me and the server and it really ticked me off… But other than that, the price for food is pretty generous and the quality is pretty good. I would recommend getting a prince bowl and eggrolls to satisfy your appetite. The broth is pretty clean and they give you a lot for the price. It’s also located in a nice neighborhood so I enjoyed the vibe that I was surrounded with

I would give this place a zero start if I could. WHY!!! Phone call to go order: RUDE! Very very RUDE!!! Every time I call an order to go the guy whoever answers the phone cannot speak english right! And and MOSTOFALLSORUDE!!! Why are you guys so rude on the phone? Why? I don’t understand. This is the 6th time I ordered on the phone and I have never had a nice phone call experience. Please be nice atleast. I know that you guys are busy but no need to take it all out on your customers? Seriously. It makes me not wanna come in with all the co workers anymore. Inside the restaurant: Other than that the food is great. The place is chill. People on the floor are accommodating. The stuff are fresh well cooked.

The first time we tried to eat here was close to closing time, so we were turned away. That made me more determined to return. I heard that the broth here was so good. I just had to have some! We were in the area, so we stopped in for a quick bite. Our friend got the XL Bowl so it was more than enough to share. The meat was a bit chewy, but the noodles were fantastic! They were extra thin(more surface area = more flavor) …like angel hair pasta. .and firm… yum! The broth was just right. .not too salty and not too bland! Mmmm! We also got 3 bowls of complimentary dessert(warm yellow bean tapioca). .bonus! ! I would return. .not only because of the name(I know that’s what you’re thinking), but also for a healthy, comfort food meal! The parking is free, plentiful and convenient. A restroom is available in this clean and simple restaurant. Enjoy!

PHOKINGALLNIGHT!!! OMG that shirt on the all with«phở King all night» is a classic. Looks like it’s a hit or miss with this place. For me, it was a hit. I never been to a phở place or Vietnamese restaurant with good service UNTIL I came here. They were attentive but not to the point of annoying, they gave the table the bill at the right moment… Not while you’re still eating and before that moment you have to ask for it. The food was pretty good and portions are huge! Menu has a variety… Variety is always good. BUNTHITNUONG($ 7.45) — of course this order was with grilled pork for the selection. Their grilled pork was fantastic here and they weren’t stingy on the portion. They also cut the meat to smaller cuts so it’s easy to eat and take bites out of and for easy consumption. Lots of fresh vegetables. Like the meat, they cut the cucumber to small pieces for easy consumption. The sauce was typical, I added chili sauce into the sauce before pouring over my bowl to add a small amount of heat and extra flavoring. My bun was without the egg rolls… I prefer more protein than fried stuff. COMPLIMENTARYDESSERT — mini rice balls in a coconut cream milk — served warm. Reminds me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo(Filipino dessert) MINUS the balls, lanka, and ube. I’d come back! Until the next review…

I don’t know how I’ve missed writing a review for this place. Thanks to my coworker for exposing me to phở, I am now slightly addicted. Lol! I had the flu a few months ago and thought hot soup would make me feel better. Usually when I drive by this place, it’s packed, so I finally Unilocaled it. Reviews were great. I ordered the phở with no meat to go because I am a picky vegetarian who isn’t fond of tofu. My mom dropped it off to me and it was delicious. The broth was steaming hot. The basil was freshly washed and smelled very aromatic. All the other ingredients were individually wrapped and packaged to perfection. Now I order the shrimp phở when I go. I love the spicy flavors. Pros: quick, fresh ingredients, prices, close to home
