The SOL Venue

SOL is a great spot for seeing some of your favorite live bands in an intimate setting. They really have a set up for up close and personal with the band. There is plenty of room to dance! The drinks are strong and you get your money’s worth for sure. The vibe is very welcoming and easy going and everyone there is really friendly and nice. I will definitely be going back!

I’m an event producer and I work with venues all over Southern California. Layton and his team are some of the best. They are incredibly professional, are constantly checking in to see if they can help facilitate any needs for my upcoming events and always available to answer my questions. The venue is a great music spot with an awesome sound system, strong drinks and friendly staff. I highly recommend this venue and team. Thanks guys!

Had an awesome private party here! My girlfriend was turning 25 so I thought what better way to celebrate her quarter century then having a themed party. Many venues were very picky on what I could do or how I could do it but SOL basically gave me full flexibility. I guaranteed a rather small bar minimum compared to other places then bam the venue was ours for close 8 hours. The whole staff was genuine and caring. I think the reason why I enjoyed it so much was because my girlfriend (now fiancée) was so ecstactic about the whole thing. I hired a horse drawn carriage to pull us up to the venue and then everyone was waiting out front. I could go on forever about how great the day was. Thank you SOL.

Sol Venue is definitely on my list as places to be. With its modern vibe Sol Venue has a great feel to it not to mention awesome staff who take care of you and contribute to have a enjoyable night. I attended the EN Young show last Friday night which rocked, my friends band was also playing and they never looked better. The stage was lit perfectly and sound was great. Everything had an all around chill vibe. Sol Venue is definitely where it’s at. Keep it up guys you know what your doing.

I went to Sol last Sunday for my aunt’s retirement party and had a great time! First off the whole ambience of the venue really set up a chill vibe-​relaxed, yet very upbeat! We were so grateful to have found a place for an amazing price. The setup of our area was beautifully arranged and the service was awesome! Everyone was very kind and attentive to our needs. Oh, and the DJ played banger after banger! Definitely got our butts out on the dance floor ;)

This place is awesome for shows! Came to the EN young show last night and had a blast! Sound was amazing and the staff was ridiculously friendly, had the Luke Bryan Lemonade from Sonny– soooooo good. SOL Venue keep it up, doing great things for Carson! Will be back soon, got my concert card!

The SOL venue is a wonderful place to have a party or hang out. Layton and his staff are excellent. They catered to my every need when I had my husband’s surprise 50^th birthday party there in December. We really enjoyed ourselves and I recommend this spot to anyone that need a venue for a function.. Thanks guys you are the best! !!!

The last time I came to SOL was back in 2012. I had a great flawless experience. The bartender Ferdy (please forgive my spelling) is awesome and a bartender named Aaron made me feel like family and made it less awkward socially. From the reviews I read about the mishaps and incidents I have to say those things tend to happen. I am not belittling the fact that it does happen, I am acknowledging that it’s reality and can happen anywhere. Things can get out of control; one should know what could potentially happen. It has been 4 years of my last visit and plan to visit again this coming week. I am still eyeing this place out to play my live set of music as well.

This place is a great spot to dance, drink and enjoy great company. I have been here several times and celebrated a few birthday party’s. The bottle service is affordable. They always have good music. It’s usually hip hop or old school music when I go. The drinks are always strong, so you get your money’s worth. They also have a hot dog stand sometimes and it’s perfect when you’re leaving and just wanna sober up.
I will definitely recommend this place!!!

I think this place has great potential as a music venue but they really need to work on the execution. I came to see Blue Scholars (12÷11÷15) and even my Über driver was confused thinking it was a club.
The website says 8:30 as a show time, but turns out that’s when doors open. I asked the person at the door when the band goes on, and he told me they’re on in an hour. I asked if I could come back then to get my ticket and he said no, that there were no ins and outs (mind you, this is all taking place outside) so I just made my way in and waited.
It was so uncomfortable. I felt like I was intruding on someone’s private club event. They played loud club banger songs for most of the wait, before switching to a more underground late 90s /​early 2000s playlist.
Then 9:30 comes around. There’s an opener. Everyone is surprised. They perform a pretty long set. Blue Scholars didn’t come on until 10:30 and unfortunately I had to leave really early as I work early but the experience left me hesitant to come back.
I think they should post set times and put more of an effort into communication. If I’d known the schedule I would’ve come later to the venue and grabbed food prior. Oh well next year maybe

Nice place for weekend. Bar tenders are awesome .!place is pretty good for dance and get to get with friends. Drinks are not expensive .!always new DJ with good dance music .!

The staff is friendly and drinks are decent. They have a nice array of music. The only thing I would change would be the live performances. I wasn’t too enthused by the performer on July 24, 2015. The DJ wasn’t bad and although the place is quite small, The dance floor is still a decent size.

Recently my family and I were looking for a venue to throw my mom a surprise birthday party. SOL was on the list of potential venues and I’m really glad we decided on this place.
Layton, the owner of the place, was extremely flexible with the schedule and plans we had for this party. I met him, he showed me around the place, and answered any and all questions I had. From our initial meeting it was decided we’d have our party there. There were a lot of questions from each of the members of my family during the planning stages and he catered to each of their needs without hesitation.
Game day happened and everything went off without a hitch. He was very active in accommodating all the guests. He was very helpful during the setup and took part in serving drinks to everyone. Couldn’t ask for a better host.
Also not to mention, the venue is a really cool place. The sound system works great, it has a great energy and feel to it, and overall is just a dope spot. I’ll definitely be back and I absolutely recommend this place if anyone wants to host a private party.

I absolutely love SOL. I have no idea why it gets any poor reviews…
The bartenders are very attentive and they offer lots of gimmicks for free drinks or free entry. The inside is gorgeous and I think it has a great set up. Drinks aren’t over priced, the crowd doesn’t get rowdy and they always have someone semi-​famous performing. It’s never obnoxiously over crowded and the patio is a nice addition.

I went to club sol recently for my friends birthday. One of the best experiences I’ve had. (5^th time there)
& the promoter Franky took well care of us. He made sure all my friends & I were having a good time. Music was good as well, pictures were taken & he told me when they were put up. I would def recommend him as a promoter! Thank you Franky!
Saturday night is a good night to go with a group of friends. Too many guys already at least the times I’ve gone.

Djed here couple of weeks ago and it’s the place to be for the south bay night life! Like to thanks the guys from privilege night life for taking care of me and my guests! Always a pleasure doing business with them again!

Cool little venue. Black, but not dreary. Poppin’ D.J. Bar upon entrance. Dance floor amidst lounge chairs. Plentiful parking.

Wow this place has really come up since the last time I was here. The place was packed with good looking people. It was like a very intimate Vegas vibe.
I’ve always liked the upscale scene and you can tell they sunk a ton of money into the sound system since I was last here. It looks like word finally got out that it’s the place to be seen.
This place is a little of off the beaten path, not near a bunch of bars and restaurants like other venues. It’s like my G spot, may be difficult to find but you’ll have some fun once you do!
I was here a year ago and there wasn’t nearly as many people. So I was a bit hesitant to return but so glad I did. Kind of like the first time you have sex with someone and it was just okay but you give them a second chance… It is not always better the second time, but it sure was in this case. Super high energy, everybody was dancing and keeping it classy… We had so much fun.
The hot bartender went out of her way to make a complicated drink I made up awhile back, and I know how annoying that must be, and it tasted better than mine. *Cue Bön Qui Qui* «WE’VE GOTTA COMPLICATED ORDERRRR!»
I heart you, sexy blonde girl! Your service did not go unnoticed. She’s the kind of hot that is kryptonite to my guy friends. They get all stupid and silly, it’s funny.
DJ was awesome too, he even let me up in the booth for a bit! Fuck yes I shaked my groove thing! But apparently when you say things like ‘shaked my groove thing’ you’re probably a bad dancer. So my DJ booth time was short lived.

— Music is ok. The first hour or so they were playing Hip-​Hop songs. At 12 they had some guest performance who was whack. Then after they played EDM the rest of the night. They also play songs catering to their Latino/​Latina customers who were the majority of the people there, so it made sense. They really need to do sound check BEFORE people get in. My ears and head was ringing the whole night because of the feed back.
— Dance floor gets crowded and many of them were dancing in our VIP area. Management should have left the ropes because people were dancing in our VIP area or cutting through it. It was extremely annoying.
Overall, it’s not just worth traveling all the way here. If I want to go out in the South Bay, I’ll stick to the beach areas.
