Good food and good service here. We had the hamburgers and appetizer sampler. Everything was hot and cooked correctly for us. The wait staff was courteous and we were attended to as needed. She did bring the check without asking us if we wanted another pitcher(we did) but she did split the check easily and without issue. If you want fried and hot, you got it here. I didn’t give 5 stars because I don’t feel like it is a special place, but definately well priced, taste, and friendly.

Pretty nice atmosphere for watching games. I got the Philly Cheese Steak and it was awesome. The crunch of the bread was matched by the juicy steak on the inside laid on top of tasty peppers and onions. Only complaint would be portion-wise. Could use more food for a 17 year old or any hungry person. Five star rating was impossible because half of the table got their food 30 minutes later than I did which is unacceptable. Would definitely recommend this place.

We liked the atmosphere. Prices weren’t bad at all. The burgers were overcooked. We asked for medium rare. The server never asked how the food was so there was no correcting it. One burger was a blackened blue cheese burger. Plenty of blue cheese, but little to none of the seasoning. The others was a mushroom Swiss. Not much flavor to it. Overall the food was okay. Limited selection of beer. Mainly the big brands though they did have a couple craft beers.

So many memories at Jefferson’s! My husband was a frequent visitor of the one at Jacksonville State in Alabama. The wing’s are freaking awesome!!! Can never go wrong! Parking at this location is a bit difficult.

Came here for wings and the hope of a good craft beer. Left disappointed on the wings and no real selection of beers.

We had a late lunch. We had fried mushrooms as an appetizer. My wife had oysters and crab legs. She thought they were very good. I have fried shrimp. The shrimp and mushrooms appeared to be purchased pre-made and just fried onsite. Which doesn’t make them bad. Just kind of lacked a little flavor. We’ll go back to try other items on the menu.

My wife and I started eating the wings at the Jacksonville, AL location about 10 – 12 years ago. The quickly became our favorite wings that we had ever eaten. They are large with a great tasting sauce. We always order Hot. We lived out West for a while and missed these wings. When we moved back to Atlanta(Marietta), we were very happy to find that they opened one in Cartersville. We make the 30 minute drive up 75 four or five times a year as we still have not found better wings anywhere in the country… and we have tried! I can’t speak to other food as I would never order anything but the wings since it is a rare treat to get up there.

Food and drinks are«OK»… good daily lunch specials. The best thing on the menu is Pretzel sticks with melted cheese to dip them in… they are warm and soft and the cheese is on point! We will be getting 2 orders next time we are there!

Stopped in on Saturday duringan exploration of Old Highway 41. This is basically a sports bar, with a nice look and atmosphere but mediocre food. I had their Sullivan burger with onion rings as a side. The burger was just okay and the miniscule dollop of barbecue sauce was easy to miss. the bacon was tasteless. You could have substituted cellophane and gotten the same crunch and lack of flavor. The onion rings were surprisingly good, with a puffy crisp crust and not at all greasy. My wife ordered a cheeseburger which was overcooked, dry and tough. She said that the french fries were decent but nothing special. As I said, it’s a sports bar and this was Kickoff Saturday, so there were four or five separate games on display on the various television screens that line the walls. One patron requested that they turn up the sound on the Alabama game. When they did, conversation became impossible. The service was good, the waitress was attentive without being pushy. If they paid a bit more attention to the quality of the food, this would be a great little place.

Ate here for lunch today. This place has so much character in its atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t keep up. Ordered the fried pickles for an app at lunch. They were ok. They were so greasy! We blotted the grease of about ½ of them and I noticed a pool of oil in the bottom of the basket. I don’t think they even bothered to drain them at all. I had the fried oysters. They were ok, but didn’t taste fresh. My wife ordered the fried shrimp. They were run of the mill supermarket pre-battered frozen shrimp. I feel like if they would put just a little effort into the food it could be a great place to eat.

My wife & I tried this local restaurant for supper. It is basically a sports bar– alot of tv ’ s on the walls. We ordered barbecue wings and fries. They were ok– but they put way too much sauce on them for our liking. We realized we should have asked for them plain with the sauce on the side. We also ordered Corn nuggets which were wonderful. The service was very good– but the servers were not particularly friendly. The atmosphere is loud– but that’s to be expected in a place like this.

Good selection of bar food including oysters, wings and burgers. The woman’s bathrooms were two toilets with a partition in the middle but no doors. Thank goodness it had a lock on the door. The walls were filled with dollar bills signed by customers. Very creative wallpaper. The wings had way to much sauce on them. The corn nuggets were awesome. Never had corn nuggets with honey mustard sauce. They have a full bar with the exception of wine coolers. I probably will come back.

The guys said the Oysters were good, wings were nothing special. They have zero vegetarian options. I had iceberg lettuce tomato and cheese salad with fries. Beer is domestic. Best part was reading the walls.

This place is ok. The service is a bit slow and so is the food wait. I do like the interior and I bet it might be a rocking bar when it is full, but they need to up their game in better service! I had the 12 oysters and it was ok. They were a bit dense and not as fresh as you can get in Montgomery, Al. It came with crackers. Blah. I won’t be back unless someone local says they’ve changed.

I’ve been to Jefferson’s several times. Normally I get pretty good service and good food for a fair price. I especially like the burgers, they never miss with the burgers. During lunch Sunday, December 1, 2013, however, I had terrible service. Actually, it was worse than that. Saying I had terrible service implies that there was any service at all. I had *no* service. I was not greeted, sat hungry for a few minutes, and eventually got my menus myself. All four waitresses walked directly by our table at least twice. Each failed to even make eye contact, much less take our order. We left after twenty minutes and won’t be back.

The food at Jefferson’s is very good. We’ve always loved their burgers, wings and fried pickles. Their draft beer and cocktails are always cold and not watered down. It’s a great place to go watch a good football game or hang out with friends. The only problem I’ve ever had is the service. It’s not bad but not the best. We’ve walked in before and it’s taken them 15+ minutes to even acknowledge we were there. 1 time we even got up and left because a wait staff walked by 2 times in a 15 minute span and didn’t say a word. We were so hungry we decided just to leave and get food elsewhere. Now if I suggest Jefferson’s everyone is like. «nah… don’t want to deal with the wait staff drama» With the awesome food there I think it’s in the owner’s best interest to have a pow wow with their staff on improving customer service and they would be 100% excellent. Right now I give it a 3 and 80% because of the lack of good customer service!

I love the food and atmosphere here. It’s pretty cheap and wonderful. The waitresses are hit and miss. Some are wonderful and friendly, but a few were borderline rude. Don’t let that discourage you, though. It’s one of the best places to eat in Cartersville!

A really nice surprise in downtown Cartersville. It’s your standard bar/grille, with a large menu. We came in on a Monday and found that it was $ 5 burger night as well as trivia night. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, the food was good, and the price was unbeatable. We’ll be back!
