All Around Raleigh DJ

I did some research on DJs who had experience with our venue, the Nasher Art Museum, at Duke University. It is a strange acoustic with a lot of echo and hard surfaces, so my primary goal was to find a DJ who could be sensitive to the space by getting everyone on the dance floor without blasting us out of the room. Eric had amazing equipment and knew exactly how to keep the sound levels appropriate through the evening, from announcements and toasts, to conversational music in the beginning of the night on into the dance party. My husband and I are both musicians and have a real appreciation for someone with a knowledge of sound/​acoustics.
Eric was incredible to work with. We had a great meeting where he listened to every request from how to pace the night to individual songs and styles. He has a comprehensive online music data-​base which made it really easy to search for songs and get them on our play list.
Eric was also very accommodating to our jazz duo who played the cocktail hour, by letting them plug into his equipment and thus eliminating the extra traffic of two groups hauling their stuff into the venue. He also handled to communication with them, so as not to overload our plates with extra emails.
All in all, I have to give Eric and «All Around DJ» 5 stars for being easy to work with, knowledgeable about sound and acoustics, for having a wonderful demeanor as announcer and emcee and pacing the evening perfectly with fabulous music!
