IHOP

Don’t trust the gluten free menu! I also made it clear to the waitress that I was allergic (which has worked at other iHOP locations), but my eggs were laced with the pancake batter they usually use in their regular omlettes and scrambled eggs. Many of us are Truly Allergic to gluten!

Service was fast, and our server was great ! Aaron has a great personality for being a server. Food was good as always.

The service here is so good it’s almost comical. Why is good service comical? Because it’s an IHOP. No one expects anything outstanding from the waitstaff at a pancake place, but the attentive, friendly professional servers here are more Angus Barn than diner. The restaurant is clean with cheery décor. 4 stars instead of 5 because it can take a while to get your food.

One of the cleanest iHops in the triangle! The service is always excellent and are eager to please. Our family typically orders the same subset of items and the cooking is always consistent. The wait time on the weekend mornings are reasonable and they are always filled to capacity during the brunch hours which just shows that a lot of them are regulars or returning customers like me :) A huge shout out to the wait staff as well!

The third star is based on the service and the cheddar cheese scrambled eggs. Not fond of the cold pat of butter on top of a luke warm belgian waffle. IHOP is what it is, known for their pancakes, but I dislike them here. Coffee is hardly ever piping hot. The crowd can get noisy at times, but it’s a family friendly place with cheap eats. If you need food quickly and without high expectations, then this is the place for you. I think IHOP offers a free meal on your birthday if you sign up on the mail or email list. Not a bad incentive…

I’d like to ask that you all bare with me as a forge this review, it will be difficult for me to designate words accessible to me in the english language to denote to you all how absolutely horrific my experience was at this shite-​box of a restaurant.
I came into the restaurant with a large group of my mates from a chorus concert we had that night and of course I was sporting my grandiose attire. In order to make my stay as short as possible I went to a separate table with several others thinking we would be served faster than the rest of our group. Whelp I was wrong, tragically wrong. I actually developed a stomach ulcer from malnutrition in the amount of time it took this woman to take the simple drink orders from our party. When she finally came to our table I lifted up my decrepit and malnourished head and mustered up the strength to say «water would be nice». Little did I know I might as well of asked her to fly to Sweden and tap into a fresh water spring and bring me a glass back because it was a similar time frame either way. Then after being refreshed by the water I was able to order a hot chocolate and chicken and waffles. Now I can look over the fact that my hot chocolate had a brown turd like substance at the bottom of it but I cannot look past the quality of chicken I was served. This chicken made tyson nuggets taste like a Gordon Ramsey signature steak. They were so bad You could of actually taken the silicon from Kim kardashian’s implants, breaded and fried them up, and ended with a similar product to that which I was served. Friends please avoid this ihop, ²⁄₁₀ would not eat again.

Went in had the Colorado omelette and it was well made and well fill you up quick. Service was fast and friendly. Will be returning

This is our go to IHOP. Most of the time the service is really great. Sunday there was a different hostess and she seemed overwhelmed, It wasn’t crowded at all so maybe it was her first try at this. This IHOP has a great manager, but he didn’t seem to be there that day which prob make a big difference. I do want to say that In all the times we have visited here since they first opened, the servers are always great. Never ever a long wait.

Love the service even during prime time lunch after churches have let out on a Sunday.

I’ve been all over the country and they had the best customer service I have EVER experienced. My daughter had light up shows and they kept doing a dance to get her into making them go off.

Our food was just okay, unfortunately. But I am giving it 4 stars because the service was outstanding. My husband and I rarely frequent IHOP but I got the craving and we went one night for dinner. We seriously felt as thought we were dining at a 5 star restaurant. Our server was Paul and he was very attentive and made sure we were happy. The food was disappointing but we are willing to give it another try because we were treated so kindly.

I have to say this IHOP has been great to us. They always tolerate my kids who aren’t the neatest eaters. The service is always friendly and the food is great. If we never know exactly what we want to eat we always end up at IHOP.

This place is so hit or miss on both food and service, When they are slow they have excellent service and the food is what you’d expect from Ihop… but when they are busy don’t expect anything you ask for in under 5 minutes… sugar free syrup when your pancakes just came out? nah, wait 5 minutes and you’ll have cold syrup for your now cold pancakes.
The manager here also seems all high and mighty. He always walks around like he has hot pants on and asks how you are doing but then just kind of chuckles and nods at your waitress like ‘today you get to keep your job’.

IHOP is our fall back place for breakfast. If we can not agree on another place to go to then IHOP it is.
This location is very clean and the staff is good. Have only had one issue with food and that was when they first opened.

This location has sadly gone downhill since opening in cleanliness and service. The food is the typically good IHOP offering.
We were seated in the back room this morning despite only a half-​full main dining area. The back room is a bit more enclosed and has a strange stale odor. My glass was completely empty for close to 11 minutes siting near the edge of the table without as much as an offering to refill until our waitress brought the check to our table. Im not sure why the service was slow as we were leaving we had to navigate through a virtual obstacle course of 7 waitstaff, 4 hostesses, and 2 more people who looked to be employees that were not yet on duty all congregating and socializing near the doorway area.
I am usually a generous tipper for good service but this morning I only tipped 11% to reflect my dissatisfaction with my experience.

As you know, if you follow my reviews, I love a good solid breakfast. It is just my favorite type of meal and food, pure comfort. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, juice, coffee… man, I’m hungry just typing this up! There are a few standbys you always go with when wanting breakfast, and IHOP is one of those that pop into most people’s minds.
This location on Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary is good. I think they keep it pretty clean, and it is noticably so compared to others I’ve encountered. Maybe because it is a newer one, not sure, but it’s a nice place. Parking may be a bit challenging on breakfast rush time, but hey, that is about anywhere for breakfast.
The two things that I like here are their huge array of omelettes to choice from/​enjoy and the pancakes, of course! Today’s fare included a turkey bacon omelette with Swiss cheese and a side of pancakes. Both, just plain delicious. Not a scrap was left.
Service has been good here, attentive and with a smile. The wait has not been long, even with today’s visit on a Saturday mid morning. They do a good job of taking care of the customer.
The clean environment and the service, along with good eats, sets this one apart as a 4 star destination instead of a A-​OK 3 star one. Thumbs up!

As far as iHop goes, this one, located off of Kildaire Farm Rd in Cary is topnotch. I had to go with 4 stars though, when comparing to other breakfasts in the area. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and our food came out quickly. I love that everything comes with pancakes, because I never seem to want a full meal of them, but like to indulge in a bite or two:-)

Very good service, food is straightforward and plentiful.

Very clean, great management. The owner/​manager is very concerned with how your meal is and will «get right on it» if there’s a problem with the order.
Wait staff courteous and prompt.
Food typical of IHop. Sweet, fattening, and yummy.
I am on a strict diet and they allowed me to bring in my diet food while family enjoyed their IHop dinner. Very nice.
