My one-year lease is just coming to an end here in February, so I’ve been living here for 11 months now. I’m giving The Meadows a 5 star rating not based on the fact that it’s 5-star in the sense of luxurious and amazing, but more in the way that you would give a good 3 star hotel a «5 star» rating for living up to what it should be. Most apartment reviews comment on the staff to no end, so let’s start there. The girls in the office here have been great since the start. I toured an apartment in January and it happened to be the day of the biggest snow storm of 2014.(Didn’t know it was going to turn out that way from the start) When I got there to tour, it had just started snowing and began coming down pretty hard. Regardless, Keri(our leasing agent) had no problem bringing us out to check out 2 apartment floor plans and was very pleasant throughout the process. When we decided to lease, we were having problems ending the lease with our(then) current apartment, Keri even stepped in helped out by contacting that property manager directly about our issues. Above and beyond! The amenities here are nice. They have charcoal grills throughout the property which we used many times in the summer. Maintenance cleans out the ashes in them once a week which is nice since many people don’t do it on their own. The pool area is very nice and overlooks the pond and fountain in the neighborhood. I have gotten a lot of use out of the gym here and it’s great for a free gym. 2 treadmills, recumbent bike, eliptical, 6 weight machines, a bench and dumbbells up to 40lbs. You’ll usually have it to yourself if you go. They have a nice business center in the clubhouse, too. I also like that the community borders a horse farm on one side, so you get that nice scenic view as well. For the apartment itself, I have had no problems really to speak of. I think the rent is a good deal for this area. Any minor issues(like with the AC or plumbing) have all been taken care of VERY fast by maintenance. Sometimes within just an hour or two. No problems with bugs or drafts getting in(I’m not sure what building the other reviewer was in that mentioned the cockroaches but I have never seen one on this property, let alone in my apartment.) The appliances are nothing fancy but they work fine. Overall, I’ve just enjoyed living here. Unless you are looking for real luxury or to be closer to the city, I would definitely recommend living here!

We lived here for only about six months. As far as apartments go, it was a pretty good experience. Quiet, polite neighbors, and a nice apartment. The leasing staff were kind and helpful. A few things that weren’t great : –The property manager has a terrible attitude and was extremely rude with me during every interaction. –The trash compactor broke ALL the time. There was a six foot high mound of trash built up in the summer. –There are tons of car accidents in the parking lot. –Cockroaches. Everywhere. On the up side, they don’t have issues with bed bugs, so that was nice.
