Amazing ! I just had the reintroduced Italiano and by some grace of God was able to finish it! A flavor dream! Hurry in and get one and bring your Fred Flintstone appetite, this baby’s a monster!

The food here is amazing. Never had a bad meal yet. The salads are great. Huge enough for almost 2 meals. Italian beef is very good. Service has always been good. Sometimes they can be very busy.

We had a very poor experience overall when we ate here for our first and last time last week. We were seated and greeted promptly by our server. Everything was fine up until we places our order and things went downhill from there. After about 30 minutes we noticed people around us that arrived after us started receiving their food. The waitress also realized this and came to our table and explained that there was a delay in the preparation of my chicken wrap. She apologized and we were understanding. Eventually the food came. My wrap was bland and my wife’s burger and fries was cold. Ice cold to the point it was not enjoyable. I can only assume the burger was sitting out for awhile when they were chasing the chicken for my wrap. I decided to tell the waitress we weren’t happy with our experience, citing the long wait for food, the bland chicken wrap and my wife’s cold burger. She was very apologetic, going as far as saying she would feel the same way if she were in our shoes. She said there was nothing she was able to do and encouraged us to complete a comment card. We did and never heard anything back. I interpret my experience as a place that doesn’t care about their customers or the quality of their food. The only thing not well below average about this place was our waitress.

Had a Burger here and it was tasty! Boyfriend likes the burgers as well. Asked for it without the bun and they delivered! First time trying a pickle and liking it and tried my boyfriends tavern pickles that were breaded… I can’t eat much fried food but it was yummy. Atmosphere is nice always busy but service is quick. Good beer selection.

The burgers are tasty, and they have a huge variety. The noise level is pretty high, and its not a good place to take kids, but otherwise, a good place to get a good burger.

Visiting in Barrington and researching local hot spots with above average reviews I happened upon«The Tracks». This place met and exceeded my expectations. The people there are great and the food is over the top. I look forward to visiting the area again. Hats off to «The Tracks».

The Tracks is probably one of my favorite local restaurants to go to. The food is excellent(my favorite is a San Francisco burger) and yes this is a local bar but every time I go there they do not disappoint. The only reason I gave the Tracks 4 stars is because it can get a bit loud in there. The best time to go is in the summer when you can sit outside.

I’m still dreaming about the food that I had at Tracks. Their mozzarella sticks were good, their fried pickles were also great(a big portion so you’ll need to share with 2 other people, unless you like fried pickles that much). They have a huge list of burgers, it’s a bit overwhelming but definitely nice to have variety. Their burgers were great, one of the best we’ve had. You will for sure find something you will like here. They have homemade chips or home cut fries and we were a bigger fan of the fries. We came here on a Saturday at 5 with a group of 4 adults and 2 children. We had to wait about 45 minutes so get here early if you want to find a seat. Probably not the best place to come with young children but we made it work. They don’t have regular sized tables and everything is in stools so you want to ensure your kids are big enough to sit in high stools if you want to eat in.

I’m good with this place. Been there twice now and both times my medium rare ordered burger came out as ordered. Burgers are huge as noted and along with the fries are a good value. The one thing is though… I’m more of a char-broiled burger fan, but Tracks seems to cook theirs on a griddle or in a pan. Nothing wrong with that — more of a case of personal preference than anything else. Service was fine on both my trips — the last time I was there it was windy outside and with the way they had their windows open it was windy inside as well. One of these days I’ll try something other than a burger there.

Stop monkeying around and just go here if you want the best burger in a 25 mile radius. Forget the vibes, or sides, or the bar(which are all great) — the 5 star review is for the burgers. All the burgers here are on point, but my favorites are the Pino Burger(loaded with MF’n bacon, peppers, mushroom, grilled onions, cheese) and ‘The French Burger’. I won’t tell you what’s on it, you’ll have to go find out for yourself. One of those ‘best kept secret’ places. Now leave me alone.

Okay so I gotta say, I grow up in Cary and I have always hated this place. I almost want to say two stars, but I have recently found a new kinda love for food and have to give this place props. the bang bang shrimp were pretty good here. No like bonefish though. The cheese balls were good but you can get those any where for the most part. Tuesday $ 2 burgers make this place a good choice however they’re tiny burger and you have to pay for the bun, cheese or other extras. last time I went I got a Chicago style dog with fries and though I could have made it myself at home, it was good. But that’s how I would describe this food –GOOD. The drinks on the other hand are some of the worst I’ve ever had. not one drink I habe ever enjoyed at this place! But… I don’t like or drink beer.

Ordered the Pino burger. 10oz fresh, never frozen patty, thick bacon, grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, cheddar cheese(but I substituted American) and fresh sliced jalapeño. It was served on a very fresh, brioche style bun, lightly toasted. I ordered it med-rare and they nailed it. Not too many places will cook ground beef to order. Many are afraid of the risks involved but honestly, if you’re serving very fresh product, what are you worried about? The confidence in The Tracks beef really showed. Some people would say their burgers are greasy but it was just very delicious 80⁄20 fresh ground beef, the way a burger should be. Plate was garnished with a thick pickle slice, tomato and lettuce. French fries were not fresh cut but very decent quality. Service was fast and friendly. Server made one small mistake on the bill but she was in training. Great job guys. The only reason I gave 4 stars is, they don’t brew their own iced tea. Fountain iced tea is horrible.

I love this place. They have the best burgers. My husband had a burger that had two grilled cheese sandwiches for the buns. He could hardly finish it. I like that they offer a chicken substitute for any burger which I always order. We usually order the spinach artichoke dip. It comes in a huge garlic loaf and is enough for 6 people!!! The only problem is that you may have to wait for a table. There isn’t a lot of room to stand in line for a table. Nice outdoor eating area.

Dropping my review to 4 stars after trying the fish fry. Burgers are amazing. So are the cheese balls – best I’ve had outside of Wisconsin. The fish fry was super disappointing. The fish is incredibly under-seasoned. I don’t think they use any seasoning on the fish or in the batter – maybe a tiny pinch of salt, but nothing else. After several heavy shakes of pepper, a big squirt of lemon and a lot of tartar sauce, it still wasn’t gety good. The corn they serve is a joke – why even put that tasteless, frozen corn on the plate? The potato pancakes I got were not hot, they were over cooked, but not burned, and again, lacked seasoning. I’ll be back again and again, but never again for the fish fry.

Recommended numerous times by good friends. We all sat here one Sunday after a long day of autocrossing. The place is a sports bar and grill, with the vibe of a local dive or hole-in-the-wall. We got a table instead of sitting at the bar. When we arrived as a party of six, there was a 20 minute wait for a table. The plan was to sit outside but it had started to pour. We were seated in 15 minutes. It’s clean, with plenty of huge flat screens showing any of the games happening at the time. I watched Montréal allow three goals by Tampa Bay. I ordered the Sunrise Burger(egg, lettuce, tomato, cheddar) and asked to have jalapeños. Fresh, sliced jalapeños were piled on top. No pickled jalapeños here. I also ordered a glass of Revolution Brewing’s Anti Hero. The burger is massive. It had to be at least a half pound patty. The egg was an almost perfectly circular sunny side up. It was served alongside a very good helping of fries(which are plain, so you can salt to taste). I asked for my patty medium rare and was not disappointed. Wow. This was a lot of food. The picture doesn’t do justice. Delicious, not too greasy, and good beer. I will definitely come back.

So far, cute place. Had the Big Bang shrimp appetizer(not memorable) Came here for Friday fish fry… It’s 3:51pm and it starts at 4pm. They won’t let us order the Friday fish fry. Really? 9 minutes… It will take that long to make the fish. Sooo. Waiting till the full 9 minutes is up so we can order. Rules are rules, right? People are friendly, it seems people will talk to neighboring tables. That’s fun! Hubby ordered fish fry, since it’s all you can eat I ordered a burger so we can share(in case he eats all the fish). I’ve heard amazing things about the fish fry and am excited to try it. But, the burgers look amazing! There appears to be over 20 different ones on the menu. I ordered the caprese burger with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, pesto and fresh spinach with garlic mayo. (This review is a work in progress as we wait for our dinner) Lots of tv’s with sports on them(each a different channel). Definitely a bar but with the added amazing food benefit. Ok, now for the food review: Fish fry AMAZING Burger/so glad we came here!!! You’ll love it here!!!

We have gone here a couple times to see if our first impression was wrong, unfortunately it wasn’t. The place is always packed, so some people must like them, though. Both times we have been there they overcooked our burgers and I feel they they try to get overly ‘fussy’ with them, plus they are so huge, my wife had to ‘knife and fork’ eat them because they were so messy and it was impossible for her to take a bite it was stacked so high. There are plenty of places that serve much better burgers, that we will not be returning here.

We stopped in on a Saturday under the advice of one of my clients. Three things stand out at this place: larger portions, low price, and a great atmosphere. Tracks creates a bar/pub atmosphere but is also accommodating for families with children as well. The front room hosts a number of tables, TVs, and the bar. The back room provides a more restaurant type environment with TVs as well. To start we ordered the Buffalo Wings as an appetizers. We then ordered our burgers. The menu has so much to choose from with many signature burgers. I ordered the Double-stack not knowing how large the portions were at Tracks. Our wings came shortly after ordering and my jaw dropped when I saw the size of the chicken! They are double the size of the average wing or leg you get at chains like Buffalo Wild Wings but for the same price. They also came with homemade ranch, carrots, and celery. I went to use the restroom and came back to the largest burger I had ever seen! Each patty was about 1 ½ inches thick with a generous helping of cheese. It reminded me of something you would watch Adam eat on Man vs. Food. The burger was season but not too much. It was just enough not to overpower the meat’s natural flavor. Accompanying the burger is a side with many to choose from on the menu. Tracks is truly a hidden gem in our area with great food with extremely reasonable prices. If you enjoy a small pub atmosphere with great people and food this place is worth visiting!

I’ve been to a lot of burger places, both in the city and Chicago suburbs, and I’d still rank Tracks among the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. First of all, you could tell they make their burgers by hand and the patties are not frozen. The burger patties are juicy as hell and literally fall apart because its so tender. On top of that, they have a ton of different varieties of gourmet burgers. I’ve tried a bunch of different burgers that they offer but one of my favorites is the Chicago heat burger. You can never go wrong when you put bacon, special sauce, and onion strings on a burger. The most mind blowing part about tracks is the price. Pretty much all of their burgers are around $ 8 or $ 9. That’s honestly not much more expensive than a value meal at a fast food place, and you’re getting a massive, delicious gourmet burger. I’ve never left this place without feeling fully satisfied and wanting a nap. The service could be hit or miss depending on how busy it is and how big your group is. Most of the time we’re in and out easily within our work lunch hour. Overall, Tracks offers fresh, huge, delicious burgers with a ton of varieties to choose from, for literally a dollar or two more than my work’s crappy cafeteria.

I was heading out to Woodstock, and a pal said, ‘since you’re headed that way, stop at the Tracks Bar and Grill in Cary, and try the burgers. It doesn’t take much persuading when somebody I trust makes a suggestion like that. Apparently, everybody in the world knows about this place, except me — it has been around for more than thirty years and year after year gets voted as the best burger in McHenry County. Well deserved, I say. I went with the Black and Blue, Cajun seasoning and AMPLE blue cheese chunks, not some wimpy, watery salad dressing. These are monster burgers, ten ounces of CERTIFIED Angus beef(if you just see«we serve Angus beef» on a menu — complete b.s., as 80% of the cows in America are Angus — but CERTIFIED Angus, that IS a big deal). Anyway, the beef was great, impressive blue cheese, house-made onion straws and chips(the latter are damned hard to make, so kudos to Chef), and one of the finest pickles ever served anywhere. Truly. I ordered my «Black and Blue» prepared«bleu» and it came as ordered. Perfection. As with most places in the area, they have a Friday night fish fry which is highly touted, and nightly specials, too.
