My girlfriend and I stayed here in for a single night in March, just as the season is starting to open to tourism. We stayed in the Ponderosa Pine Suite and purchased an additional morning smoothie. The inn is a very short drive along a pretty highway to Manitou and Colorado Springs. The inn owners are fantastic. Tom was a really nice guy and we have nothing but great things to say about them. The entire house is Adobe and has a southwestern décor. It was really nice and very comfy. Our room had a small queen bedroom which attached to a bathroom and an additional sitting room. It wasn’t as large as we expected from pictures, but it was by no means disappointing. The sitting room has a nice fireplace in it with several candles to light, the bathroom has a jetted tub, and the bed was so comfortable I can hardly explain. Whatever quilt they have, it’s heavy but not too hot, and I wish I had one! We had dinner in town, followed by a series of free wine tastings at the very nearby Colorado wines(quarter mile from the inn but wouldn’t recommend the food, only the wines), and then enjoyed some of the inn’s board games and tv as we enjoyed our room over some champagne. The smoothie in the morning was delicious and well worth the $ 6. We didn’t try the breakfast because of the expense, but the dining area looked nice and I can only imagine it’s great. We’d highly recommend the inn. My favorite part was enjoying a cup of coffee on the small porch patio the next morning, looking at the surrounding mountains and indulging in the sounds of wind and wildlife. Really nice.

Unique décor far above the average B&B(stayed in the Moonlight Suite), and similarly unmatched & phenomenal breakfasts. Location is quiet and gorgeous, and the rooms are very affordable. All in all a wonderful experience!

This has a great Southwest feel that I really miss here being from Phoenix. We had the Moonlight suite. The room was upstairs, off on its own with a private patio. Very romantic and quiet with NO television. It was decorated really nice with a wrought iron bed and had a private bathroom. Sherri is a great host and a fabulous cook! She asked us our preferences regarding breakfast after taking our reservation. We asked for a vegan meal as I’m not a meat or egg fan. She surprised us with excellent pancakes topped with fruit and baked sweet potatoes for a side dish which were OMG delicious! to drink was orange juice and tea. Thank you Sherri for a wonderful getaway!
