I came here because I had a Groupon and took my husband for his birthday. It’s a little different than the wineries I’m used to in California. You pick 3 of the wines and sit down to drink them. The wineries I’ve been to they take you around the Vineyard and have you taste 10 different ones. It’s okay though because the place is pretty small. I had the white wines and my husband has the reds. We sat down by the patio and they brought us a pretty good portion of cheese and crackers. It was super quick cuz they just give you a small shot glass worth of each wine. We ended up buying the hot spiced wine which was a hot tea mixed with wine. It was a nice way to relax but don’t expect too much.

The owner was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We got breakfast burritos and wine. The food and wine was great. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because there were large screws and glass all over the parking lot and the outside area for dining could really use some cleaning up. Also, apparently groupons can only be used on certain days and also require reservations. I understand the policy, however it was not clear in the groupon offer.

We stopped in last Saturday on our way back to town. We found the entrance as confusing as other customers did. The gift shop area looked picked over and not like a classy little store. We were not greeted for the longest time. Another couple was tasting and purchasing a bottle, and it took the owner at least ten minutes to deal with them without even acknowleding our presence; we almost left. A very drunk guest was in the enclosed patio area and he was loud and rude, and twice his wife/girlfriend ran off to the bathroom in tears! How unpleasant for others! They finally got up to leave and chatted with the waitress, who never should have let this customer drive off so intoxicated. It is the establishment’s responsibility to not allow customers to drive drunk, and his female companion could have been asked to drive. There were job ither customers on a Saturday at 5 – 6 pm. Anyhow, we finally got served! We did not appreciate the $ 15 charge for tiny pours for the tasting. The owner served us. To be honest, 5⁄6 wines were some of the worst we have tried any where! We did get a glass just to NOT have to pay the $ 15 for tasting, but we didn’t enjoy it. The owner was friendly with us once we did get served, and we had a very juice conversation, but we will not return for these wines. Friends who had been here recently didn’t like the wine either, and we’re not impressed by their cheese plate. Too bad about the other reviews but honestly, a business owner could let a child use a bathroom, especially a woman who is a grandmother. Sounds like she was more concerned about that rule then keeping an eye on her drunk customer who drove and endangered others on the road.

Love this place. They have great wine and the staff is very friendly. The flat bread pizza is also great. We also orderd a wonderful cheese plate. With rum balls. Awesome. Lisa

Definitely not the friendliest place. Came here because we could not get waited on at the one across the street. Not a lot of selection but I did like the one I bought.

So I stopped in here to get either ice cream or coffee and use the bathroom for my 3 yr old son. They lady working LOCKED me in to make sure I bought something. There’s a sign on the door stating customers only for restroom, pretty standard. With a little one of course you’re going to use the bathroom first. I was so creeped out, I got ice cream instead of a latte because I did not want her to make me anything. How dare you lock me into your business! You are advertising for espresso and ice cream… Not just wine. Seriously bad business ethics

Wow. Let’s start with the one positive… the building is nice. We were a little concerned that only my husband and I and one other gentleman were the only customers. Signs directed us to the correct door of entry. We walked into what looked like a coffee shop. We asked a person behind the«coffee» counter if this is where we can taste wine. She said follow the sign. We walked by tables into what looked like an event center, by a gift area, then finally to the unstaffed tasting area. The three of us walked around for a while trying to find an employee. We had to walk to the coffee counter again to find the owner. We told her we would like to taste wine. She met us in the tasting area, which I do need to say the room is quite lovely. The owners conversation was awkward and made us feel uncomfortable as if she didn’t care we were there or customers. She told us the cost to taste all of the wines was $ 15. We told her we would only be interest in a couple. There was no discussion of this. So we left. We love visiting wineries, maybe paying $ 5 for tastings of our choice, then buying bottles or a case. We would never recommend this place. They need to define their purpose or at least have an entry into the tasting room with someone more versed in customer service and that has the businesses best interest at hand. We felt like we were not welcome. Very ODD encounter.

The best thing about this winery is that the building is beautiful. The business itself feels a little disjointed with wine, gifts, ice cream, sweets, event space, etc. all together but with an almost non-existent staff. The wines aren’t bad, but I’ve had wines that I enjoyed more for just over half the price of these. Also, I tend to go to wineries hoping and expecting them to be run by people really passionate about what they do, committed to the local community, etc. and that just isn’t the case here. This place is very much about making money. The wines are not made by the owners(another winery makes them), the somewhat artsy items in the gift shop of mass produced and purchased from China(it’d be great if they’d feature items from local artists instead), etc. Overall, just not much heart here.
