My husband and I had a wonderful experience with this office! We had to bring out almost 3 year old son since we came in on a weekday and the staff was so wonderful with him explaining everything as he was watching mommy from a chair (or standing there, you know toddlers). The office is beautiful and updated. The equipment is high quality. The service was speedy. And Dr Ragsdale was so informative, patient and cheerful. It was a wonderful experience! I would recommend them to EVERYONE!!!

Excellent care and service. Very modern equipment — got a better view of my retina than I ever have, and I have been going to an ophthalmologist since I was 7 years old!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Raffa for a few years, and though I only visit once a year he always treats me like he’s known me forever. He’s super knowledgeable and helpful, showing you all the crazy close-​up images of your eyes so you can understand what he’s looking for and how healthy things look. The rest of the staff is also very friendly, too. They recently moved to a new spot (at the other end of the hallway in the same building) and their new location is much nicer and bigger than their old office. If you need an eye doc in Castle Rock, give them a call — they’re top notch.

I first needed glasses in 4^th grade, went to Dr. Raffa at the recommendation of family.
It’s been 16 years (wow! my first pair can drive!) since my first super-​akward entry into fashion for the vision impaired and my first thought when I noticed that maybe I might need something for driving at night Dr. Raffa was the first person I thought of, even though I’ve moved 1000 miles away (and I’d actually consider making a special trip just to see him).
I followed him through several offices and he walked me through multiple change in prescription, contacts, frames and eventually determined that LASIK would be a good fit (Dr. Raffa did the initial and follow-​up and gave me a great referral to another wonderful doctor). If I lived in the Denver/​Castle Rock area, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I loved Dr. Raffa. I haven’t been a patient there in 3.5 years as I moved away to California. After having a bad experience here (that I’m still trying to resolve as I type this) it has me wishing I lived closer to Castle Rock!
Dr. Raffa was always very thorough, patient, kind and answered all of my questions in detail. He is actually the best eye doctor I’ve ever had, and I’ve been wearing glasses for 45 years.
His old staff was not typical; some of them seemed a bit rough around the edges by their appearances but were always cheerful & helpful. I had no problems with billing or anything else.
While I can’t vouch for his current staff, Dr. Raffa himself was absolutely wonderful. I miss him!
