On Time Moving Services

I’ve used On Time Moving Services at least 4 times over the past 8 years. They’ve always done a great job and moved all my stuff, including my Piano, without issue. AND they were always on time! All the guys have always been very professional and they even helped me wrap and pack all my stuff on one occasion when I wasn’t completely finished when they showed up. I’ve referred them out to others and will use them again in the future I’m sure.

We were looking for someone to move a 48″ upright piano. The move itself was really easy — no step and no tight turn. The problem was the distance of moving from Palm Desert to Palos Verdes. Called a few places and was quoted for prices between $ 470 to $ 650. We then came across On Time Moving Services and their price was significantly less than the other moving companies/​piano movers. However, I was really skeptical because of the one bad review. I mentioned it to the owner Frank to make sure he would not charge me anything more than what he quoted me for and I think he got pretty offended and upset with me. I decided to go with them regardless of the bad review since there was also one good review. The move turned out to be very smooth. They were one time for both appointments. They kept the piano for about 10 days because they only come out to the LA area once a week or every other week. It was not an issue for me since I wasn’t in a rush to get the piano. They gave us a window of one to two hours, but called 30 mins before they arrive so we didn’t have to wait around at home. I would totally recommend this company.

i am renovating a house and had to put the whole thing in storage. I called a couple of services, and found these guys to not only be the most affordable, but also they have been early or on time for both appointments and moving. they hustled, and they were very careful (a lot of movers muscle the job, but bump into walls, ding furniture), but not these guys. they were really good. Brian the manager is so easy to work with, a good man, and Mike and Miguel were super to spend the day with. (note — pay cash or check, credit cards get an up charge). they even came in under their estimate.

On Time Moving charged me an hourly rate and a flat fee at the same time for moving our baby grand piano. They also charged a driving fee of an additional hour to pickup and drop off the truck. None of these items were included in our original quote for moving and added an additional $ 300. I strongly DO NOT recommend this company.
