What a nice experience we had today picking out stone for the front yard. Everyone there was so helpful and knowledgeable. The yard is immaculate and the choices are many. Thanks SWB

Went here to pick out gravel and boulders for the redo of our front yard. What a great place! The staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The best part is riding a golf cart to the piles of boulders, organized by color. When you find a boulder you like, you put your name on it with a piece of tape. I want to go back and get more.

What a great resource for those of us involved with the construction industry. Folks, there are big piles and heavy wire containers of various geological types of stone. It is like a veritable Festival of Stone, reminiscent of Stonehenge but held more conveniently right here in Cathedral City! Not just various gravels in heavy plastic bags as about all you’d see at a Home Depot, but rather a whole range of sizes: slabs, gravels, pebbles, on up rocks small, medium and large; round, angular, River Rock shaped, several colors, and finally the boulders, and ledges, weighing tons. Was this planned for some Druid pagan ritual – I.e., back to nature? Then the ultimate: the whole exterior site backs into an actual mountain! A great help for my architect’s eye, in planning a waterfall and/or pond feature for some garden, is that there are actual examples built on the site.

Amazing place with the best staff. The guys are welcoming and don’t make you feel like dumb. I redid my front yard with their amazing selection of premium pebbles, boulders, and Decomposed granite. I also got a bag of glass to make my river bed pop.

Had my yard«desert» landscaped a year and a half ago. I felt the yard needed more boulders so went here to order 8 more. Forgot to mention when purchasing that 6 of them were going in the backyard. These need to be «placed» with a crane and it cost more to place them then the rocks cost, but, I was expecting that. When Steve arrived with the crane he informed me that the crane couldn’t reach to place them in the backyard. I kinda freaked out since I didn’t know how I would get them in the backyard??? Called Southwest and spoke to Randy(manager?) and he communicated with Steve to come up with a solution. Steve ended up using a wheelbarrow that I had to move them one at a time and place them in the backyard. I must say, I was very impressed with them coming up with a solution to what could have been a very frustrating situation for me. Would definitely do business with this company and highly recommend!!!

From long beach and was in the desert for a few days, stopped at southwest boulder for a little project I’m doing at home. I was greeted as I walked in and they helped me make the right decision. Great place, and even better service! I wish there was a southwest boulder in Long Beach!!!

I work for a landscaping company. And was referred to Southwest Boulder. When my buddy and I got to Southwest bolder we were treated with great customer service. An associate showed us around and I was very impressed with the selection they had. Their pricing on rock was good. The stores landscaping was beautiful. I had the opportunity to meet the manager of the store very respectful young guy. I wanted to let him know that for now on I will be getting all my landscaping material through the store. I’ll be back soon Southwest Boulder

They have a moderate selection of stone and such. Sadly they arent interested in the individual homeowner or DIY as their delivery charges are very expensive. We needed one cubic ton of pea gravel and the delivery charge was almost double the cost of the gravel. I had to find another source for our project. A place like this really only wants to work with contracters and not the little guy. Also, they have a sale on glazed pots at 40% off. The individual pots arent priced. We asked the price of a couple pots of the sane size. The sales associate had to go in the office to check pricing. He said the pots are $ 46 and he could sell the to us for $ 36 each. I didnt question him on the 40% sale because I just had to walk away.
