Pretty sure I just ate the best chicken torta of my life here — at a gas station. Yes. You read that correctly. And my husband loved his street tacos, too. Seriously, they have a great thing going here; great food and friendly service. It’s ideal for food to go but they also have a few tables inside and out.

I stopped into the cookie place in town and asked the gals if there was a place for a good breakfast burrito.(I wanted a little something to eat in the car on my way down south). They said«oh yeah, at the gas station». WHAT?! That’s what you want to hear from locals. The(chorizo) burrito was huge, too big to eat on the go, but I tried. Plus I had about 3 extra meals off that bad boy)

Only used gas station, not the minimart. Prices seemed higher than other places in Central California(but certainly lower than the spots right off the highway both north and south of this location). Minimart looked hip, as far as gas stations go, and it’s very close to the beach, which is cool.

My hubby and I were travelling along PCH to Monterey, and stumbled upon this fantastic Mexican place attached to gas station. It is very small, but clean. Wowee is the food great. Had a fish burrito, extra spicy. Hubby had tacos. Simply delishious, one of the best burritos I have ever had. Highly recommended.

This business really does make the best tacos in town. Their spicy chicken taco is our favorite. The nachos, burritos, and sandwiches are equally delicious. Taco Tuesday is a great bargain with $ 1.00 tacos. Don’t miss it!

I’m bumping my 4 stars up to 5 to offset the undeserving one-star review. Last weekend my brother and I ran the Rock to Pier race in Morro Bay. We finished our run in the beautiful seaside town of Cayucos. When my brother and I were running, my parents found a cool bakery and deli while in search for some coffee. We came in too to check it out and to get some post-race refreshments. We ended up taking back a couple burritos, tacos and doughnuts. A lot of the other race finishers had the same idea. The burritos were great, especially the Cayucos Burrito, which comes with your choice of meat, fries, cheese, salsa, guacamole, cilantro and sour cream. The family that runs the stand are really nice and, even with the long line of racers, they keep everything flowing smoothly and efficiently. Along with the Mexican food stand, inside this gas station you will find a full-service bakery with cinnamon rolls, large cookies, doughnuts, pastries and desserts. Highly recommend!
