Looks cute but keep walking. Food, coffee, and service subpar. Ordered a scramble and got an omelette. Granola with fruit came plain when asked for fruit, waitress brought 3 quartered slices of pineapple. Inquired about fruit choice and told they had cantaloupe only for lunch. Not what I expected.

Waitress was friendly but food was bad. Heavy on oil, poor seasoning, undercooked. It’s a cute garden setting, but the food really isn’t cooked well for a «restaurant.»

I’m only giving this two stars because the server was sweet and friendly, and the patio is lovely. I ordered eggs benedict – a real treat for me – at $ 11.95. Sadly, the sauce was big-time MEH. NO salt, no lemon, no pepper – and served lukewarm over my eggs and muffin(which were both good and cooked just right). But if you’re ordering this dish, you want the sauce to be GOOD! Also, when I asked if I could have extra sauce, the chef said, «Are you willing to pay for that?» I told him of course. BUT, I was really hungry! After I ate, the chef came out and asked if I liked the breakfast, and I was honest with him. His reaction? «Well, now you’ve hurt my feelings. I have people who drive all the way from Paso Robles every Sunday and tell me this is the BEST eggs benedict they have ever had!» He then went on to say that he got the recipe from a famous NYC chef, and that I should have just asked for lemon and squeezed it over the eggs! «It’s easy!» he said. My friend’s burrito was as bland, and her decaf coffee was also MEH. Also, while my potatoes were wonderful, I only got a spoonful… maybe 8 small cubes. The right thing to do would have been to give me breakfast on the house, and invite me back. And no, I will NOT be going back. Try Celia’s Garden Café in Los Osos, or Creekside Café in Cambria, for a much better and MUCH tastier, experience with this dish!

Have to say it’s average. Good service, nice ambiance. Clam Chowder is passable but not award winning. Shrimp Cerviche was decent however the included corn chips were mostly crumbs.

When I arrived I had high hopes. I followed the majestic yellow brick road to the«garden area» I was quite displeased to see that there wasn’t much of a garden. I ordered my food. The cayucos scramble. Once I again I was very displeased to put my fork to my mouth and taste that my potatoes were undercooked and cold. I moved on to my eggs and once again witnessed coldness. The best part of my meal was the one slice of toast that was given to me. The iced tea was good as well

What a sweet surprise tucked in a quaint garden of tranquility. Dad and his daughter welcome you the moment you step in inviting you to take a seat inside, in the front garden or a rear garden. I had the turkey wrap with avocado. It turned into a chicken wrap because they ran out of turkey. But that was A-OK with me. It was a generous wrap sandwich with fresh greens and tomato stuffed inside and a small green salad too. It’s so rare to come into a restaurant and be greeted with such authenticity. Lots to choose from on the menu including breakfast favorites like Cayucos Scrambler, Burrito, salads and sandwiches.

Skip it or be willing to pay $ 6 for a toasted bagel with prepackaged Cisco delivered sides. Took them 10 minutes to put that together and they never once said hi or smiled during this time. Waste of space in Cayucos.

Nice looking place but was greatly disappointed. Bad service and bad breakfast. Would not come back again.

As a low carb eater, I get so tired of the muffins, scones and fruit options at most small eateries. This place serves eggs a few different ways and the shrimp cerviche is excellent. I think they should create an egg dish with cerviche in it(which is basically what I did on my own plate). Service was good. The outdoor patio was nice, but I agree with other reviewers who suggest opening up the direct path from the kitchen to improve service to the back patio. They also need a sandwich board out front because the front door is so small, its easy to miss.

Carrot Cake Carrot Cake Carrot Cake!!! Can’t stress it enough, it’s the best I’ve ever had, fresh homemade. My husband loved the homemade ginger ale too. Casey our server was friendly and helpful. You can tell that all the food is fresh here as well. The beautiful outdoor garden seating area is picturesque. Don’t miss this little gem tucked inbetween and behind bigger building storefronts on the main street.

Let me begin by saying this is a casual, low key coffee shop with a small breakfast menu. It’s like going to your favorite coffee house in town and realizing they also serve breakfast! As far as breakfast goes think farm house, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancake– I think an awesome addition would be a fresh homemade scone for the casual coffee drinker and homemade jam would be incredible! Maybe I am just brainstorming now but I’d go to a café for their homemade jam ANYDAY. Lastly the only reason I didn’t give the customer service driven folks at Divine Café a 5: I say customer service driven because I talked to everyone, even the chef came out for a quick hello and how was it. The reason I did not offer a 5 was the young women sitting behind the counter wearing sweats and opening mail, doing paper work and eating a stack of pancakes. Show up to work ready to work and keep your business and breakfast hour in the office away from customers. Thank you for the great breakfast and fantastic cup of brew!

Why is this place still open? I have eaten here 2 maybe 3 times, once when it first opened, and 1 or 2 times when visitors came to town. The service is awful. the food is awful and the prices are too high. What else do I need to say on this review? Sorry folks, our town is in transition for eateries right now. Try Schooners, Sea Shanty, Duckies and Café De Via that is about as good as it gets here.

Small, quaint but excellent food, chai and super friendly service. It was just the place we were looking for. And the worlds largest slice of carrot cake.

Had breakfast on the patio with my husband and father in law. Ambience was nice — outdoor dining area was spacious, breezy, nice décor, and overall a quaint space. Service was okay. Not impressed by the food. I had the eggs, toast, and potatoes which were bland with no flavor. The toast was stale and hard. Potatoes undercooked. My husband’s pancakes were also not cooked thoroughly and gooey inside — the looked like two tortillas on the plate. My father in law had the surfer burrito which was cold and again no flavor. Decent coffee. Would not return to this café.

This restaurant is awful. Staff was not attentive and seemed extremely overwhelmed. Food took forever and was mediocre at best. Not to mention, someone found a piece of plastic in their burrito. If the food was amazing, then maybe the awful service could be overlooked. That, however, is not the case. Trashy food. Trashy service. Definitely never going back.

Food here was decent. Young ladies waiting on us were very nice. It was good location for our two small children because the gardens are nice for them to explore. I would like to see lower prices or larger portions. We will be back.

Adorable atmosphere. Not a huge selection for breakfast but pancakes were delicious! Heard eggs Benedict were really good. But my friends got the burritos and weren’t amazed but that could just be personal preference. I do want to come back for lunch.

I had breakfast here yesterday and it was fantastic! The pancakes and bacon were very tasty and there were many other options on the menu that were tempting. So much so that I ended up bringing a house smoked salmon bagel and breakfast burrito home for my wife and son(in that order). Both were excellent and greatly enjoyed. The service was friendly and attentive. I even was able to brings dog with me to my seat on the patio. A welcome addition to the options in Cayucos!

Menu looks great and it’s a new place so I really wanted it to be good, but the execution was very poor. We called in a take out order for 4 meals. They quoted 15 min, but it took about 40 for it to be ready. The lettuce in the salads was dripping wet with water. The turkey wrap had a big chunk of turkey inside, not sliced up and was just so so. The potato salad was very bland. One of our salads was missing dressing. The highlight was the pulled pork sandwich which was pretty tasty and the bread was fresh. The dressing on the Thai salad was on the spicy side which was ok by me, but I tend to like food spicier than most. The staff was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed even though it didn’t seem very busy. Maybe it will get better after being open a few more weeks. Really hope so because we love having more restaurant options in Cayucos.
