Great find and great food. Even my young kids like the artisan pizza options. Great service. Prices reasonable for artisan styles. All are 12 inch.

First time in Cedar City and this place was suggested by many students at Southern Utah. You come in and there’s a rustic, eclectic feel that you’re in a unique place. I love how the water is served from clear wine bottles. The menu consists of mainly salads & pizza. I ordered the«Pollo Rustico» which was a pizza that consisted of chicken, olive oil and white cheese. This was a great pizza and the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and microbrew list. I just wish this place had a bar and some flat-screens to watch sporting events.

This place makes a great pizza with a perfect crust that is the perfect ratio of soft and crispy. It is a thin crust and only comes in one size which is a bit of a bummer if you want to share which is why you can get several. The topping selection for the custom pizza is rather small and lacks fresh vegetables, instead having mostly sauteed topping.

We went to Centro last night after a long day at Zion NP. The pizza was absolutely wonderful. The house salad was great too. I would highly recommend stopping by. As for the bad review– no real pizza place should be based in wings and ranch!

Randomly stopped here on a road trip and WOW! Super worth it. The service was fantastic. The server came back after we had paid thinking one of us had tipped too much… so sweet! But let’s not stop there, the FOOD. The salads are all fresh, delicious, and served in family sized portions(perfect for sharing between 3 or 4 people). The arugula salad was on point. I got the pancetta and grape pizza. You might say, grape? But I say GREAT! It was one of the more memorable pizzas I’ve ever had. A must try! The crust on their pizza is a little doughy and full of flavor. You could pretty much order just the crust it’s that good. The gelato was awesome too. Zero complaints about this place. Honestly, this place is moan-worthy. You have to stop here!

I’m from Chicago just visiting a friend that lives in Cedar City. Chicago and New York supposedly have the best pizza in the nation. My friend took me here last night to see what I thought of it. Despite being from the Chicago suburbs there aren’t any pizza joints around my area that do their pizza wood fire style. The pizza at Centro was very good. I’ve never had anything like it. I had the pizza Classico with pepperoni. It was crispy all over. I thought it was neat how the crust is paper thin in the middle like New York style but yet the crust edge had a highly risen border. Again, I’ve never seen anything like that. Everyone that took care of us was real nice and welcoming from the hostess to our server James. Another server(I believe her name was Kay) took care of us too and she was very nice. Very pretty and cute too.

Awesome pizza! Wood fired perfection. We had the Brushetta, Calabrese, Roasted Mushroom, and finished up with an amazing dessert… Nutella Piegato. Great for families as well. As we were eating a couple pulled up that was driving from California that said they purposely stop here just for the pizza.

Love this place! My hubby and I visited this great restaurant and loved everything about it… Ambiance is very laid back, great seating, and great background music. The food was wonderful! We had a margherita pizza and half roasted mushroom half salsiccia piccante. The pizzas are a good size for one or you can share a pizza and choose from the salads and split one of those as well. Plenty of food but we did not leave feeling stuffed. We finished off with a root beer float to share. It was my favorite part of the meal. The Gelato is incredible and the root bear was a Utah hand crafted brew. Service was quick and helpful! Our waitress was happy to answer any questions we had and was very quick to refill drinks and ask if we needed anything. Over all, we greatly enjoyed our evening here! Definitely deserves the 5 stars!!!

We found this place with a quick Unilocal search after a long day of hiking and it definitely hit the spot. The pizzas are 12 inches, and we ordered the Classico and Pollo Rustico to share(though you could probably split one if you wanted a lighter meal). We devoured both quickly and give them the highest marks, which is a big deal considering I’m from Chicago, my boyfriend is from New Jersey and we’re both kinda snobby about pizza. We each had a tasty local beer off the short but sweet draft list, and the bread was excellent(I even kept the olive oil/vinaigrette combo to dip the pizza crust in). The service was excellent as well. Not sure we’ll ever be back in Cedar City, but if we are, this will be our first stop.

Pros: Service is good, my waitress was really pleasant Restaurant is nice, it is clean and has a rustic/modern look They have a nice bottle of cold water placed at each table, very nice Price, wont break the bank, I paid $ 50 for 2 pizzas, 1 salad, bread, and 1 lemonade Pizza, we order four different pizzas and the Fennel and Sausage was the best. We all really liked the Fennel and Sausage pizza. The salad and bread are served with a vinaigrette type dressing that my wife really enjoyed. Cons: They only have vinaigrette type dressing. NO ranch or cesar, and worst of all No wings! All of the pizza except the Fennel and sausage was either not good, or didn’t taste better than a little Cesar’s $ 5 pizza. Overall I would not recommend it for kids or college guys. Nice environment but just didn’t taste good to me. I think chicks would like this restaurant. They were super nice, and the place was nice, but they needed tastier food. I think all pizza places should have wings.

Hungry for real pizza? This may do the trick. Located just within minutes of our hotel in cedar city and right next to the cutest little patisserie in Utah. I was actually in the mood for Asian good but my husband and son wanted to try it. What’s s girl to do? The hostesses were quite friendly and sat us down quickly. Our server Ariana was super sweet and answer our questions. They offered higher table or low table(which is a regular table). We decided to sit at the high table. Tip, sit on the low tables the high tables are rather small and not enough space for a group of four people. The ambiance is pretty relaxed, the decour is one of rustic meets modern and chic. I actually enjoyed it. Now, food wise: pizzas were large enough for two people to share one. They all are 12″(I guess that depends on how hungry you are too, and if you like sharing) you can either order white sauce or red sauce and it’s not your typical pepperoni and cheese choices. These choices are a little bit more mature. Our favorite was fennel-sausage pizza. Salads are pretty big as well. I’m only giving a 4 because they don’t have different dressing choices(I loved my house dressing but my husband is a ranch guy) also, the bruschetta was blend and too much topping for the thinly sliced bread, which was rather saugy.

We started off with the rustic bread with a balsamic vinegar and olive oil to dip it in. It was amazing as usual. The Sopressata pizza is one of the best pizzas that I have ever had. Hard to beat a good wood oven baked pizza. Always friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere to hang out in on a Friday night.

Another wonderful dinner at the Centro Pizza. As normal the food was amazing. The service was so quick. We were in and out in 45 minutes. We always love coming here!!!

I’m giving 5 stars to this place because it was so unexpected. For years we’ve been traveling back and forth between Calgary and Palm Desert — up and down the I-15. We always dreaded the inevitable night in Utah because of the difficulty in finding a decent restaurant that serves decent wine after a long day’s drive. This trip we decided to stay in Cedar City and our hotel(Marriott) had a list of restaurants that served alcohol. We decided on Centro and it was a great choice. The neopolitan pizzas were excellent and the wine and beer list was more than adequate and filled with several local choices — yep — I didn’t even know Utah had a budding wine industry! Highly recommend.

This is where the magic happens. That’s the sign over the bathrooms, but I’m pretty sure they meant that the kitchen – where the arrow on the sign points – is where the real magic happens. As I did both a) use the toilets, and b) eat the food from the kitchen, I can say that the food was more magical. Let’s begin with the setup. Fantastical toilet questions aside, the interior is a light and modern décor, rife with all the things you’d expect from a restaurant in the mid 2010’s: exposed brick, industrial lighting, subway tile, Edison bulbs, barn wood or exposed wood bars, and chalk on the walls. It’s so popular for a reason; it works, and it’s a safe bet. We’ll see if they remodel in a few years, but for now it’s in line with what a nicely appointed restaurant tends to be. I came at an off hour on a weekday, so seating was easy to come by. After a quick glance at the menu and a few kind words of guidance from the server, we ordered the summer salad to share, and each got our own pizza. Mine, a half primavera/half margherita, and the other a fennel sausage. They’re nice sizes, not quite small enough to be a personal pizza, but not quite looming in delivery pizza size range. I was the winner, IMO, as both the primavera and margherita were nice, clean, and made me thank the heaven above for basil. They’re also big fans of the micro brews here. I don’t drink, but was surprised to see that Park City Brewery’s ale was available, as well as a whole host of other Utah brewers. They had a few draught choices as well as bottles. It wasn’t just the post-camping belly, but I snarfed up the food quick. That lemon vinaigrette was something to write home about, and that alone will beckon me in again. We made the server leave the plate so we could swab the plate with our pizza and taste every last drop. There’s a rising food scene in Cedar and Centro seems to be a pioneer in that scene. Woodfired pizza is such a special thing, and they’re doing it right.

I generally don’t get five stars to pizza places unless they offer a whole grain sourdough crust. But everything else was so exceptional about this place, I decided they deserved it. Housemade fennel sausage. Other meats from Creminelli. Artisan Cheeses from(relatively) local farms. Absolutely delicious pizza. Exceptionally good service. I will definitely be back

Apparently, they have an app now so you can put your name on the list and not end up waiting for 45 mins like us. Of course, we did not know that as we are not locals. However, food is really good so I am not annoyed anymore. Summer salad is the bomb. And the reason why we drive 8 hours to eat here: ARUGULAPIZZA! So, it takes a while to wait for your pizza as well but you forget your frustrations once your food comes.

Stopped at Centro on a whim while on a road trip — on the way back home we drove at least an hour and a half out of the way just so we could go back. Yes, it’s that good! A simple menu executed with such technical excellence it lets each dish and ingredient rise to it’s full potential — pizza the best that pizza can be; salad the most refreshing it can be; mushrooms the most… mushroomy! Between the two trips we had a special fennel sausage and salami pizza, the sopressata, the margherita, and the roasted mushroom. They were all out-of-this-world, but the latter two were the standouts for me. The margherita was so perfect in its simplicity. Tomatoes, amazing mozzarella, and crispy charred basil on their incredible Naples-style crust. The mushroom pizza was really unique and tasted so incredibly earthy and mellow it’s hard to describe. It’s just how mushrooms are supposed to taste. We also loved the arugula salad. My gosh, that prosciutto! Amazing. The salad is incredibly well balanced, and the portion sizes are very generous! The full size is a mountain of greens, the half size was still plenty for two to share as a side course. We also tried the Nutella Piegato and some gelato, both great but we should have saved a little more room so we could enjoy them more ;) Friendly service, fun casual atmosphere(and I love the open kitchen so you can see flour-covered chefs stretching the dough!), great root beer. The draft beer list is limited, but they still have some good options.

As a native New Yorker I was impressed with this little pizza place in southern Utah! I didn’t expect it to be so good but I was pleasantly surprised. Centro was a great place to stop for pizza after a long day traveling on the interstate. We went at dinnertime so we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. This place had pizza that tastes like good New York Style Pizza and the crust had«that taste» you get from the wood fired oven. As a native New Yorker I was impressed with this little pizza place in southern Utah! I didn’t expect it to be so good but I was pleasantly surprised! Their service is outstanding! The waitress was very attentive and explained we could put different toppings on one pizza as well as was very polite and patient withy friend traveling from Korea. Their bread with balsamic vinegar was a great way to start. Usually I don’t eat a lot of bread but it was pretty good. They even had Pelligrino Aranciata! So that made the meal perfect! If I’m ever back in this part of the country I will stop in! Thanks for the awesome pizza.

This is a casual pizzeria with excellent food, my kind of restaurant. Plenty of seating here, and the servers are very pleasant. I was so pleased with the arugula salad(small — per the server’s recommendation). It was quite large for a «small» salad and perfect for two people to share. I am so grateful for her recommendation. The lemon basil vinaigrette balanced the prosciutto and arugula taste perfectly. They also gave the perfect amount of dressing, not too much nor too little. The rustic bread was good for an appetizer, but not something I would recommend– nothing special there. We also ordered the fennel sausage pizza since they said it was homemade sausage. I was quite impressed with the taste. Do note that it is a thin crust pizza… and I mean super thin crust, but the flavor more than makes up for my lack in carbs from the dough. Despite not having room, I just had to try the Nutella Piegato because 1) I love Nutella 2) it sounded so interesting! Baked pizza dough filled with Nutella? Uhhh yes please! However, I was a tad disappointed. I thought the dough was too thick and crunchy. I guess I expected it to be as thin as a crêpe, but crunchy and soft at the same time. Definitely did not have the texture I was hoping for. Great concept, but I think it can use a little tweeking. If you love Nutella, do give this a try. If not, you’re ok to not save room for dessert.
