We finished our goat cheese omelet, apricot tart, and apple tart before I remembered to take a picture! They were all stellar!!! Reminds me of being in Paris! Whether you are passing thru or live here this place is a MUSTSTOP! My latte was delicious and they have wonderful organic black ice tea which my hubby enjoyed. We will come here every time we go thru Cedar City! And I got an almond croissant to go! Here is a pic!!! So delicious!

Oh my goodness, what a little gem you have scored, Cedar City! You will be amazed at the quality of food that this tiny sidewalk café produces. The crepes and pastries are on par with what you would find in Paris. I also tried the salmon and it was seriously some of the best I have ever tasted. The chef Michel and his daughter are friendly and helpful and take great pride in their delectable offerings. This will definitely be our go to when we drive through Cedar City. There is nothing else that even comes close!

Have been here have been here six times in six weeks. Today I went twice. Hope to make it through the whole menu before I leave cedar city. Had breakfast on their patio under the shady umbrella. Great food, coffee, deserts, and ambiance.

What a great little unexpected gem. Hands down the best cold brew coffee I have ever had. And the fresh peach tart was delicious. So good we had to stop two days in a row while we were in the area.

Tried a tart and a macaron while passing through today. Wowee wow. The peach tart was lovely. But I have to say those macarons should be world famous. The raspberry macaron had a perfect texture and the cool berry buttercream filling was perfect. Light, soft but with a crispness to it too. Hard to describe this perfection. You won’t be sorry you stopped here!

C’est vraiment magnifique! This place is a real gem. We stumbled across it while stopping in Cedar city on our vacation. It’s tucked away set back from the street a(next to Centro Pizzeria.) It’s a family run business. I loved the intimate feel– it’s just a small little building with outside patio seating but they create the most delicious tarts, crepes and other French pastries. But it’s not just pastries– they also have omelette a, fabulous salads and daily specials. The day we stopped in they were cooking steak dinners. While sitting out on the patio under the umbrella, enjoying every bite of a scrumptious berry tart– I could close my eyes and imagine that I was back in a little café in Paris. In the background I could hear the owners speaking rapidly in French with each other. It took me back to the days I spent in Paris… lazily sitting outside in the sun, enjoying the bustle of Paris streets and delicious pastries.

I was multiple times in French before. This place tastes really authentic. Had a tasty mango smoothie, a seasonal tarte and an omelette with a plain croissant. Would visit again.

Ooh. La. La You had me at croissant. And Nutella, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love Nutella? Little, I mean tiny little place with cute little patio seating a that transported me to Paris. Ok, so I’ve never been to Paris but this is what I think it would be like seating outside a cute little patisserie. My husband lucked out and didn’t have to spend the money on airfare there– haha The owner and chef is a little French old man, you just want to go and pinch his cheeks, the guy ringing us up was super friendly and reminded me of Linguini from Ratatouille . We had just had dinner or I would have order everything on their menu. Planning to return for more yumminess tomorrow am. All that tosh about a moment on the lips has nothing on me

Quaint and delish. Love this little spot. We enjoyed a tasty omelet, quiche and salad with the most refreshing lemon vinaigrette dressing. Cappuccino and brewed coffee were on par.

There really are only few times in life when you accidentally run into beauty such as this. We drove in on our way to Zion National Park, and saw this spot and another coffee shop. We didn’t find the French spot, so we bought coffee elsewhere. But after, I insisted to my friend we seek out The French Spot.(It’s about half a block up center away from main.) I’m so glad I did. As we walked up to the window, we could smell the delicious French pastry and it smelled like what I’d imagine heaven would smell like. An elderly French man called to a younger man, who was setting up umbrellas when we walked up. He smiled, greeted us, and offered to let us try some chocolate mousse. I promise, this was real life. This place exists. The mousse was so scrumptious but I knew I wanted a croissant. He said they were baked fresh that morning, so we happily got a chocolate and an almond one. We sat down in the sun with our pastries. It was flaky and buttery and absolutely light and delightful. Such an experience. I never wanted it to end. I ended up ordering another almond one to take with me for later, and got the last one… So it was clearly fate! As we left, he teased us and showed us all the other little fruit tarts he had«for when you come back!» he said. Alas, I didn’t know if I would be graced with The French Spot again in my near future. I sighed, and we left. I had dreams about it the next day. The chocolate croissant is basically all I would like to put in my mouth for the rest of my life. It is truly stupendous. I am in love. It is fleeting, but it will last forever.

We almost didn’t try this place, which is more like a large kiosk with three outdoor tables. So glad we did. It is run by a French chef and his daughter and the food is expertly prepared using fresh local ingredients and is very flavorful. We stopped for breakfast and had a fluffy omelette with tomatoes and mushrooms and a warm, flaky, just baked croissant that melted in the mouth. The coffee was rich and smooth, the lattes appropriately frothy. We stopped again for a dinner of steelhead salmon, thin fillets browned on the outside and moist inside, flavored with cracked peppercorns and garlic and nestled on a bed of lemony mesclun. And don’t even get me started on the macarons. Just try the lemon. And the raspberry. And the pistachio. And…

Stumbled upon this adorable French spot on our way to Zion National Park. Such yummy pastries and really friendly staff! According google maps it looks like it’s right on the corner of Main and Center Street, but it’s a little further down Center than it appears to be online! Definitely worth the stop!

Awesome little spot in Cedar city! I’m almost hesitant to give it a great revue because i want it to remain my ‘secret’. I was sad to find it closed during the winter when passing through town, but it’s understandable with outdoor seating. Everything we had was exceptional!

Just so many good things to say. The girl taking our order was so cute and hip that I felt like there was no way that I was in southern Utah. The French language drifting from the order window made me so happy. Secondly… The food… AMAZING. This is the best French toast that I have ever experienced in my life. It was unreal. The Nutella crêpe was so perfect and the the plain croissant was beyond delicious. Thank you Unilocal for making my road trip that much better. This place is a must. Mmm

We got the butternut squash and goat cheese quiche, the chocolate French toast, and chocolate croissant. All absolutely amazing. Very cute, quaint little restaurant. Only outdoor seating, it was a little chilly so we got it to go and ate in our car.

If only more places like this existed here… The coffee is better than the local shop nearby, everything is fresh, the place smells like heaven… and everyone loves the food. Please, please, please patronize this little gem. It needs to stay around Cedar forever! P. S. These are legit French people(unlike the other«French» place in town).

La French Touch à Cedar City ! De la street gastronomie à son meilleur. Simple et goûteux. Le tout préparé dans 10m2. Le détour en vaut la peine.
