I love Papa Murphys, that is until i made the unfortunate mistake of coming to the Cedar Falls University Location. I went in and ordered my Pizza as usual, normally a half and half pizza so everybody gets what they like. After taking my order i waited and received my pizza, only having to correct one mistake the Pizza maker was in the process of making. So i drive all the way back to Waterloo, get home only to discover that it is in fact thin crust instead of the normal crust. Thinking this is an easy to fix mistake i call them up to report the mistake and presume i am going to receive my free pizza since i don’t really feel like driving all the way back out there. The first person i talk to was great, polite and willing to make things right. However he then handed me off to some sort of power mad troll battle axe that seemed to have some sort of stick lodged in her butt. After getting a rude«How can i help you» I calmly explained the situation once again, only to hear that my options are«Return the pizza to get a new one,» or «Cook and Eat it and get a discount on my next purchase» So my options are waste gas on your mistake, or eat what i don’t want and get something slightly cheaper the next time, because you screwed up. This entire concept seemed ridiculous to me. When i asked the hitler-esq employee what exactly they do with the pizzas when they are returned i was informed they may resell them, or throw them away. Doesn’t really seem to make much sense. So beware of purchasing pre-made pizzas at University Papa Murphys, they are more then likely laced with rat poison or someone else bodily fluids.

Superfast and a relatively good deal for quality food. It beats getting food at a fast food restaurant. And you can still say that you cooked supper. I was not greeted when I arrived but a gentleman was there to help me and take my order right away. He up sold me on the cookie dough and the cheesy bread for six dollars more. I’m sure I ended up with way more food than I needed. Another guy was working and was busily making pizzas for a couple who got there before me. After taking my order the guy at the register went and. prepared my pizza right away. In about five minutes I was in and out with my items. The place was relatively clean and inviting and I will be back. It ended up to be $ 16 for cheesy bread cookie dough and a large pizza. I would’ve gotten the name of the nice guy who served me but they weren’t wearing name tags. I think anyone who works with the public should wear name tag. It’s an accountability piece.
