Marco’s Pizza

Let’s start with the good points. Let’s face it the idea of having pizza delivered with a movie is a cute idea. The online ordering system was extremely simple and user-​friendly. Delivery was right on time. And the driver along with the staff we spoke with them we called them with questions was very helpful.
However in an area with so much pizza delivery to choose from the food wasn’t anything outstanding. We tried four different types of pizza and the cheese bread. The cheese bread came with marinara that was about enough for one cheese stick alone. The pizzas to all of us seemed pretty bland. With five kids to feed everyone ate but no one asked for seconds. With other pizza delivery options we often times run out of pizza so we probably will not be ordering here again.

Marco’s wins with fast delivery and reasonable pricing. They are located in the family video building as part of their new business model. I’m sure to try to save them from the decline of DVD movie rentals due to digital format.
My husband has had the Marco’s from the place on Ansborough several times at work and was excited to see they were coming to cedar falls.
We ordered online for delivery. Twenty five minutes later a nice gentleman delivered our supper. It was reasonable. $ 17 with a large two topping pizza and cinnamon squares. Oh and two dipping cups which are 59 cents each. There is a $ 2.49 delivery charge.
We got a half old world pepperoni and sausage half ham and mushroom on original crust with Parmesan on the crust. The crust was soft and the pizza hot. My complaint would be the sauce wasn’t very flavorful and the whole thing was pretty bland. I did not try the pepperoni or sausage because I don’t like them but my husband says the old world pepperoni is the best. He says the curl up and become. «Crispy little Grease boats». I think next time I will try some more flavorful toppings and that might help.
The cinnamon squares were good but really greasy. The bottoms seamed like they were soaked in butter or oil or something. Not my favorite.
It’s better pizza than little ceasers but not as good as a Pizza Hut or other place. But in twenty five minutes vs an hour for the others to be delivered it’s good.
I gave it 4 stars for descent pizza, convenient ordering online and super fast delivery.
Update: we ordered from here again and delivery was again super fast and friendly and pizza was steaming hot!
