Applebee’s

I would not suggest dining here at all. Service was very impersonal and difficult to deal with. Food was not good. Portion sizes were smaller than indicated on the menu. Everything we had was cold even after it took forever to get it. The cleanliness of this location left us with little appetite anyways; the floors were covered in trash and there was dust and sticky messes everywhere. The host couldn’t even bother to open the door for someone on crutches.

The worst restaurant I ever eat!
I will never back to this place.

We waited about half an hour for a new steak.
Also the new steak didn’t taste good at all.
The waiter was Terrible!!! No smiling at all.
I recommend you to save your money!

This was our first time dining at this Applebee’s. Food was good. Same set up as the one we use to frequent in Illinois. Servers and staff friendly and accommodating. We will defiantly be back. Yesterday was the first day of their new menu. We like sharing the two for $ 20 deals and the two for $ 25 deals.

I came to this Applebee’s because I knew that they are open until 2am and I have some photos to work on. I haven’t eaten since this morning and I thought this would be a good place to work and eat. I got here right at 10pm. I know this because I initially planned to go to Bush’s Fried Chicken but they close at 10pm. Drat!
When I came in NOBODY greeted me or asked me where I wanted to sit. I had to ask the bartender who barely said I could sit where I indicated. (Bar area)
I told the waitress that I wanted an iced tea and would be back from the restroom. When I got back the tea was there. OK. Cool. I took a drink of the tea and it tasted horrible.
EVENTUALLY someone (waitress) came over and left the menu. I was obviously done looking at the menu and still nobody came to take my order. Finally, since I was sitting next to the server station, Hugh asked me if I had been helped. I told him about my wait and he said he’d take my order, which he did
Now understand. It was NOT busy in here at all. As a matter of fact, most of the staff were huddled around the bar area with the manager, socializing!
I basically was ignored by the waitress and Hugh took care of me. As Hugh was leaving he noticed that no one had come to refill my drink. He stopped and got me a refill. I handed him a $ 5.00 bill and he refused it. I insisted and he took it.
Everyone in here, except Hugh, made me feel like I was the customer that came in 5 minutes before closing!
Sad. This used to be a great location.

My dining experience here was slightly above what I expected, which is good. I walked into Applebees hoping to to choose something that would come out good. I succeeded.
I had the 4-​Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders. This was pretty good. I can highky recommend this meal. I also ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, which made good. I had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, these were made great. My wife had the Quesadilla Burger. It turned into a 2 for $ 22.50. She enjoyed her burger as well. I wish I knew the appetizers were half off after 10PM I really just wanted a drink and a appetizer. I learned of this deal after the fact, because it was in the backside of the drink menu.
Overall I had a safe (food wise) and good experience my meal was good service was descent. It’s Applebees. This one lives up to modest expectations. Next time I need a late night bite I may swing back around.

Sat at the bar for 10 minutes until I was even noticed which is fine if you’re busy but I counted 11 servers for 15 tables plus a bartender. Staff was hanging out at the POS stations talking and drinking beverages and not doing shit. Bartender was taking care of most of the other tables while this poor lady’s manager was walking around aimlessly. Other bar patrons showed up and left because They cannot simply get a «I’ll be right with you». I asked one of the servers if they are generally this slow on a Saturday. Her response was «usually not however we have been getting slower and slower on the weekends and I don’t know what’s going on» well I have a pretty good idea. If any of my restaurants were ran in this manner of poor service, spending unnecessary labor hours, and not holding staff accountable I would simply close my doors or clean house. I will never be back to this location and I recommend anyone to avoid this place like a plague.
Applebee’s does have a location in round rock at the la Fronterra shopping center that is the complete opposite. Please if you do consider eating at this chain it is definitely worth the drive to get great service and have staff that give two shits not only about the guest that dine there but about the integrity they put into their job. Absolutely unfreaking believable.

This place used to be good. I mean it’s pretty much what you expect of an applebees. However I was served milk with a booger in it and my pasta came out cold. I got food poisoning for a few days. Don’t come here

Not a gluten free friendly restaurant. You get a binder with nutritional information that is in no way user friendly. Most restaurants have GF options and I’m disappointed in this restaurant for not providing options.

I won’t ever come back to this establishment again, the service was horrible and the food absolutely disgusting. The first time here I ate and after felt very nauseous afterward assumed it was just me, the second time my son wanted to come for his birthday and when they brought out my food it was cold and tasted as if it was old. The final time I came with co workers not my choice but thought let me give them one last try and before I could end up finishing my food I was in the bathroom throwing up. My experience from this place has me never stepping foot in any Applebee’s. I literally feel traumatized at how awful the food service was. It’s almost as if they don’t cook any of the food and it’s just something that comes pre made and they zap ur calling it cooked. HORRIBLE I would not recommend this to my worst enemy, well second thought maybe I would. Lol

My boyfriend and I came here after a really bad day at work. I wanted to get something sinful to make me feel better. But this ended up being an equally bad experience.
I ordered the steak with shrimp, and the French onion soup (which was very good).
However, buried underneath my shrimp, on top of the steak, I found a hair. I sent it back, and the waiter took it off the check without too much of a problem.
My boyfriend ordered the churro s’mores afterwards, and those were pretty terrible.
Our waiter was pretty decent. He gave us a $ 5 off voucher, which was nice. Overall, it just seemed like a mediocre outing — I guess it’s to be expected from some of the chain restaurants. My usual experience with Applebee’s is usually pretty good, but this one was off its game. We’ll give them another shot at a later date.

Burgers and fries delicious today. My friend paid extra for sweet potato fries and I tried those, which were amazingly good & melt in your mouth. Kasandra was super warm & friendly and gave us good quick service.

Waiter was the worst! We never even got a drink the whole entire time we sat and ate! Not even water! Ridiculous! Never coming back

Hot shot whisky chicken was tender, juicy & delicious the other day. Tasty mashed potatoes with it. It didn’t quite fill up the plate like the picture on their website shows, but it was still good. I had a good, friendly waiter, but can’t find the receipt or I’d say his name.
The all you can eat soup n salad did not include any salad on the menu, like someone at Applebbees had told me on the phone the other day. But both the house and the Caesar salads were good. Well if you get one of the other specialty salads on the menu, you have to pay extra. I loved the tortilla soup, and the French onion soup was delicious, too… almost as good as the tortilla soup. Alexandria did a great job as waitress… friendly, helpful & polite.
On a different day, the boneless chicken wings tasted good, but were thick on the breading, and slightly too sweet. I’m glad you can get celery with it, upon request. I did overhear another waitress telling a customer that no sides come with the boneless wings. I couldn’t read her name tag, but I did try.
Today, I noticed a smell in there that I didn’t notice before… like the carpet needs to be changed out or cleaned.
Anyway, not perfect, but I like this place and enjoy their food and hospitality. It’s been a while since I’ve had their bourbon street steak, but it was GOOD the last time I had it!

Food was about a 3.5 out of 10. Went on Christmas evening because my Wife and I were visiting family. So the good was that they were open and that’s about all the good because we should of just went to Burger King or ihop.

This restaurant stays open until 2:00am and is a great place to meet someone late night for conversation and drinks.
The food is muh, and has always been muh, so don’t expect a culinary treat. The nachos are middle of the road and are a safe bet, however, the meat, cheese, beans etc will only get you thru 20% of the chips. The Sriracha shrimp sucked.
The wait staff are really cool late at night and will keep the drinks coming. I’ll will only be back if I have a DD, Über, and intend to meet friends for a late weeknight drink.

Went on a Friday night, waited about 5 minutes, and we were quickly taken to a table. Our server, Ryan 2.0, was always there when we needed him, even though a 20 top was pulling him every which way. The food came out hot and tasty, and dessert was great! 10 out of 10.

It is a chain style place, so you know what to expect, but the service was honestly friendly and good.
My additional comment is that they tend to have a few more different «healthy» options on the menu than some of the other places. so it really just depends on what you are hungry for.
I also tend to see more families here versus the other chain style places like Applebees.
Overall, its a solid 3 Stars for food and 4 stars for service.

All I wanted was the channel to be changed, after that our server went MIA for 15 minutes. Either the drink order was too complicated (beer), or hue was offended by the request.
After several minutes we received our food. Mine in particular were the boneless wings, which should be renamed after some medieval dragon type wing, because it was so hard to cut through… These wings were over cooked and hard to chew. I felt bad for the server, because at first he really tried. We finally cancelled the bottle beer request, and had to ask the manager for plates. Was not to happy with how he slapped the bill on the table and walking away like
«We» we’re the problem. I appreciated this and will add it to the tip. Phot to follow…

Its just Applebee’s but it was pretty good. My wife and I have eaten at this location a couple times. The food is what you expect. On this visit i had the Steak Bruschetta and my wife had their Cedar Salmon. We both enjoyed our meals and had no complaints about the service.

Applebee’s is just one of those boring chain restaurants. Some chains are awesome and I have my favorites, but alas, Applebee’s is not one of them. Everything is just ok. Nothing ever blows my socks off or makes me crave to come here, but it isn’t bad either, just blah.
I found myself at Applebee’s because I was out voted by my little group. The other 3 people were in love with their food which was the Asian chicken salad, a regular cheeseburger, and the Parmesan shrimp. I tried a parmasan shrimp and they were yummy.
I had the lunch special and picked the honey pepper chicken strips with fries and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The strips and the fries were good, but nothing special. The soup was AWFUL. This is not tortilla soup in any means. Tortilla soup is one of my favorite things in the world. I order it every chance I get! Every place has their own version, but there are usually similarities. This soup was in a watery tomato-​y broth and filled with all sorts of veggies but no chicken or tortillas or anything good. I took 2 spoonfuls and all I tasted was raw onion each bite. It was awful. 2 people in the group tried it and agreed with me. Sad face.
On a high note, the service here is very good. Our server was helper and friendly. Every time we were about to ask for something, he brought it before we could. Great service!
So the food, in my opinion is lackluster but the service is good. Take that as you may.
