4 stars due to the value – you get half a chicken, and great condiment bar. It’s tasty and has generous portions. It’s better than the El Pollo Loco chain.

Well, it’s too bad I can never go back, because the food is actually really good. Customer service, not so good, if fact terrible! I had a simple order of a chicken taco, chips and guacamole, had to wait for a bit, because the line was long in the drive thru(good food). Finally got my food, and drove home. Got home to find out they had forgotten my taco. So I drove back. Waiting in line again, I asked for my money back, she gave it to me without the taco. I told her I would still like the taco, and because I had to drive back I wanted my money back as well. She then threw the taco at me. I got home to find out not only was the taco old, it was not chicken and did not have sour cream on it. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson, 1. Check the bag 2. I won’t waste my hard earned money here again.

Went through drive-thru around 3pm and want s to order family style meal with whole chicken. Said they were out of chicken but if I wanted to wait would have some ready in 20 minutes. Now the reason to go through a drive through is because you want fast food. They said if I ordered the carne Asada plate that would be ready faster, so I did. Well I waited for that over 10 – 15 minutes, so I could’ve waited another 5 and got the chicken I originally wanted. What kind of chicken place doesn’t have chicken ready? Only reason for 3 stars is because it is good when it’s available and the beans and rice are good too!

Showed up around 8:15 this morning, nobody on the intercom so the person in front of me drive forward. I figure he waited and drove up without an answer. After 11 minutes to get his food I pull up and ask if they have a common breakfast item ready, but not before she had to make it clear that I had irritated her by being there that early and how dare I take the believe the«open» sign for its worth. I got a big NO, so I left, obviously I don’t have a food review but still worth a review nonetheless.

With this new found power of writing reviews for all to see I have decided to review this Mexican restaurant… I love it. I actually go here a lot and have probably ordered everything of the menu, and it’s all awesome!!! One big thing I should point out is the staff sometimes seems a bit rude but nothing to sour your experience. And I can’t really lie, sometimes the food is a bit over cooked but 9 – 10 wins in a positive in my books! 10⁄10 would eat again!!!

This place is amazing for authentic charcoal grilled chicken. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu because the chicken is so good I can’t imagine not ordering it. I go here for lunch and get the half grilled chicken meal, which comes with a whole grilled onion, tortillas, rice and beans. The salsa bar in the restaurant has pico, a variety of salsas, fresh cucumbers, fresh onion and jalepeno. I use the chicken to make a few tacos and then just eat the rest by hand. It is a miniature feast and a bit messy but for a fast food joint it is an amazingly high quality meal.

Very tasty chicken with good sides and awesome condiments if you eat inside. The prices are great. My only so-so is the desserts. They are not expensive but not very good. On the downside, it tends to be messy/dirty towards the end of the day. They don’t appear to have a consistent policy of cleaning the floors on a regular basis. Or perhaps they get lots of families with young children who feel compelled to distribute rice.

My husband had heard great things about this place and since we just moved to a nearby neighborhood we gave it a try. Walked in, not a soul at the front counter for ordering. We sat down and waited. Finally got up and went to the counter, someone showed up to take our order. I ordered the two piece chicken dinner but did not want rice and beans. I asked if I could get cole slaw instead(since it was on the menu as a side). She said they did not have cole slaw. Okay… well, can I get black beans? No, we don’t have black beans.(Yet that was also on the menu as a side). Can I get barracho beans? Welp, apparently they only had refried beans no matter what the menu said. Got our food, I got a puny wing and breast, I had wanted dark meat. Sent it back and got an even punier thigh and leg. Taste was okay, but NOT worth the money. They give you cheap sides like beans, rice, tortillas… that stuff is fluff. For $ 20 we got lame amounts of chicken. Oh…and the topper was when I went to the ladies room and the sign said to put all toilet paper into the trash can, NOT the toilet. GROSS. NEVER going back.

Quesadilla is incredible! I opted for steak because your choice of meat doesn’t change the price. It is fairly large, and comes with salsa, sour cream, fantastic guacamole, and this incredible green sauce that is a bit spicy, very creamy and delicious. One odd thing is that, in the drive thru, you pull up to the menu, look at it, but then you are expected to read a faded sign that says, «Please order at the window.» The wait was a bit long as you order and get your food at the same place, but definitely worth it!

The service is horrible. Went tonight to buy a chicken, Sylvia was at the window. I say Good evening and not even a ‘hi’. I say ‘thank you’ she did not even say ‘your welcome’. No manners at all. I told her I thought she was being rude and she did not even look at me in my eyes. I could not believe the attitude. Another time my husband went there and they charged his credit card twice. Also they gave me an old dry piece of chocolate cake instead of tres leches. Last three times I went there was a complete disaster. With so many places around this place is at the bottom of my list. Cannot even have a person with some manners to serve people?

Had lunch there today. It was my first visit there. Not fancy at all, but clean and not crowded. Beef tacos were stuffed full with meat — no scrimping there. And the order was correct and came quickly. The food was well seasoned and better than a chain fast food restaurant. Very good. I’ll go back when needing a quick bite.

Stopped by for a quick dinner to go after work. Decided to get the Mex Mix Meal so I could try a little of everything. Verdict: the chicken was flavorful, but a little on the oily side. The beef was a little dry, but better than anything at Taco Bell. The green salsa was spicy and delicious and the rice and beans were sort of generic in flavor. Overall, it was good, but not great.

First time here. Went through the drive thru and ordered the Taco Siberia. Plan was to eat in the car between appointments, but after opening it, I realized that since I wasn’t wearing a plastic suit, I’d better run home and eat it. This is a knife and fork kind of taco! Loaded with chicken, guacamole and sour cream and the green sauce … Wow! If it wasn’t so spicy I may have drunk it with a straw! So good! I will definitely be back to order this again and try their other dishes too.

Meh, prices were good but the food was so so. I had the mex-mix. Wife had the flautas. The mex mix included some dried out chicken and some over seasoned beef. There was a very large amount of food for the money but it was still not worth it. The flautas were alright but very greasy. As for the restaurant itself, very messy and had food everywhere. Staff was friendly enough though.

¡Muy delicioso! My husband and I have been coming here for the past few months and we are never disappointed! Everything from the chicken dinner and carne asada to the chicken soup has always met our expectations. We prefer to eat inside so we can utilize the salsa bar and load up on fresh cut cucumbers, peppers, and salsa as well as the free chips to go along with the oversized portions we always seem to get. I have nothing bad to say except the inside of the building is a little dated looking. Everyone is always accommodating to our needs and friendly. The food is excellent. I crave their caldo de pollo when I’m sick. They serve it with tortillas and rice on the side(which I dump into the soup). It’s the only thing that makes me feel better! You should also try the chicken rico bowl on Wednesday when it’s on special! You won’t be disappointed.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but after the meal my wife and I ordered… All we both can say is… NO! NO!!! My first time here I went through the drive through. The order process is a little weird, first there is a menu, then you drive up to the window to place your order. I did not really know what to order/no menu to look at. So I just ordered what first came to mind… «Two Tortas Please.» I asked for pastor meat, I do not recall the other choices, I’m sure one was chicken since the name of the place is Delicious/Rich Chicken. The meals came with Mexican rice and a drink which I chose Agua de Jamaica(Hibiscus Punch). Upon getting home and tasting what I ordered my wife and I were very displeased. The torta was tasteless and sloppy, the bread was very dry. The pastor meat was all gristle and very low quality. There rice tasted like greasy nada. The Jamaica was too sweet it just tasted like bad kool aid. Someday when I have forgotten about this bad experience I might try it again and order the chicken to see if that’s what your supposed to go there for.

ARRR! MELIKECHIKEN! RROOOWRRGULPSLURPCHOKESPITDROOLNOMNOMNOMSMACKGRRRR Oh, to be a fly on the wall of my living room last nite. Thank God I was eating alone. Hubby was out so I thought I’d try El Pollo Rico. I love El Regio and such and had yet to try our Cedar Park, drive through version. It literally took me 15 min to go there, get my food and get home. I maaaay have over ordered, getting the half chicken meal with beans, rice and XTRA green sauce, for only $ 9! I thought I would eat half and save the rest for lunch and that’s exactly what I did.*** I parked myself on the couch with every intention of turning on the TV and having a leisurely meal. But first, just a quick bite of that leg. Oh, that tasty leg. Things went straight to hell after that. I had no time for TV(good thing too, or I would have had to clean my remote!) or silverware or even moving the table close. I was all hunched forward on the edge of the couch, pulling meat apart, its a wonder I didn’t just slide right off. Understand. I have always said that I am one bloody steak or chicken vein away from being a vegetarian. I don’t like my meat to look like an animal so generally no bones, no ribs, no wings, no feet. But last nite, I just threw everything in mah mouth. Skin? Throw it in! Fat? Throw it in! Bones? Throw it in… then…cough it out. One warning: I have never been one to complain about salt. I love salt. It’s my only vice(cough). But, some of this chicken was super salty so be warned. Now lets talk about the sides. The beans were great, filled with tasty bacon and ground meat. And altho rice is the Tex Mex side easiest for me to kick to the curb and feel better about myself, I tried this stuff thinking it looked like a packaged rice. I was wrong. It was delicious. Dammit. The tortillas were wrapped nicely in foil and this was the brainwave I had about them: «Just don’t even open that foil. Outta sight, outta mind. Tortillas are the Devil’s Business… But what if they’re homemade? With that light dusting of flour and that yummy yeastiness… well, I’ll just peek for Unilocalsearch, for the review, right? {opens foil} OH! They’re corn! THAT changes everything!!» So I made myself a little taco with salty meat, sweet grilled onion and those fabulous spicy sauces. Then… I made another. Damn the Devil. And one last word about the sauces. The picante(red) sauce was amazing. The green Dona sauce was fantastic. Put them both together and you have a nuclear fusion of flavors in your mouth. It was wonderful and painful. Sometimes love hurts. So glad I have another«fast food» option in my neighborhood. MEWILLRETURN!!! ***no I didn’t. I ATEITALL. This meal would be too much for the average(she-)bear but not me, not last nite. ROWR!
