We had a flier put on our door for Local Slice. We live on Vista Oaks and have to suffer with horrible pizza places that deliver. We decided to take a chance and try Local Slice on Vista Oaks. Our expectations were pretty low. I have to say how happy I am that we were wrong. Ordering was easy, the pizza was delivered on time and hot. I grew up in NY and I am partial to NY style. This pizza is great. We ordered one with cheese and one with meat. The cheese pie was perfect. Light sauce, and the cheese was seasoned perfectly. I told my husband that we are in trouble because now we have delicious pizza we can order anytime.

Moved here from CA for work… have struck out trying to find a good pizza here… UNTILNOW Excellent crust, great choice of toppings! Ordered my favorite pesto sauce, sausage and mushroom… I think they should name it after me… lol! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Best. Pizza. EVER! Ok, maybe not ‘ever’ but it is a very good pie. The consistency of the dough holds up well with a few toppings on top, plus the pie isn’t drowned in sauce or overwhelmed with cheese. Unlike my kids, the crust is scrumptious, even better when I cheat on my diet. The Brushy Creek Salad is a spinach extravaganza with goat cheese, dried cranberries and slivered almonds, and it can be topped off with one of their house made vinaigrettes. Locally owned. Locally operated. Local Slice!

Best. Damn. Pizza. They make an amazing pie and their delivery time is second time. I have regularly received our order 15 – 20 minutes earlier than estimated and this is during peak weekend hours and during BIG televised games. Always blown away by the quality and customer service. With that said, there is one girl that occasionally is working the phones whom has a tendency to get a little testy if you have a slightly bad signal on your phone. Consider this a 4.5 star rating.

Amazing pizza. We LOVE their pizza and garlic knots. So so good! They’re always busy, so make sure you give yourself enough time before ordering. We’ve had both their white and red pizza — and I have to say, I can’t decide which one I like more. Hard to find actually good pizza in Texas!

Gave this place a second chance since my husband and I drive 16 miles to Home Slice for good Pizza. We are both from New York and have been looking for a good pizza for the past 20 years here in Austin. On the advise of a friend that suggested that we give this place a second chance; since according to our friend it was just as good as Home Slice, I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the lunch special which included two slices and a drink. The pizza was under cooked. The dough was pale in color and did not hold its shape. I was very disappointed. The sauce and cheese were good. However; I think we will continue to make our weekly drive to Home Slice, until we find a better and perhaps closer to home pizza place.

I LOVENY style pizza. My gold standard is Niki’s by the slice —(double toasted). Man & I were staying in a hotel in Cedar Park, no full size fridge so of course we look to Unilocal for dinner ideas. Unfortunately, I let my hunger get the best of me and when I saw Local Slice, just a few mins away, with 4.5 stars and nearly 200 reviews, I did not read many of the reviews. We called in an hour before they closed and the guy on the phone was super friendly. We ordered one pepp & basil pizza w/light sauce and an order of garlic knots. Soooo… When he brought it into the hotel room it looked and smelled delicious. To my dismay, however, the pizza was floppy, covered in cornmeal, and tasted like a salt lick. SOSALTY. The texture was terrible. A light dusting of corn meal, sure, to keep from sticking …(we’ve made plenty of homemade pizzas where this has been helpful) but this pizza was slathered in corn meal /corn meal mixture and tasted like my pizza had been(not to be dramatic) dredged through an ocean, through the sandy beaches and then served on a greasy platter. I did not finish one slice. Nor did I eat one whole garlic knot, because… The garlic knots were totally raw. To be fair, my idea of a garlic knot is slightly crisp on the outside, and«gooey“ish on the inside, very center, but these were soft and gooey from outie to innie. I can honestly say I will never be back. Niki’s has spoiled me with their cheap, huge, crispy yet soft, stand up straight pizza slices. 2* because staff was so friendly.

This is my 4th visit to this local find. It’s close to our kids school which allows a quick last minute slice in case of kids activities. Everyone is very friendly but not ass kissers. They have nice beer ice cold and Maine root on tap. I have not gone anywhere else for pizza since finding this gem

Ginny ordered the chicken BBQ and was less than impressed commenting that it seemed like cheap lunch meat. I however, ordered the margarita and it was insanely good! Best suburbian pizza we have had! For sure we will be back!

I’ve now had the pizza here twice at the cedar Park location. I really like the crust because it’s not greasy and is on the thinner side. I wish they put a bit more sauce on the pizza to add to the flavour a bit more. They aren’t the most generous with toppings but do better than typical chain places. It would be nice if they had more variety to their topping choices as well. Overall this is good pizza for take out, better than chain places like pizza hut, and I’d get it again.

I have been very pleased each time that I visit Local Slice. My last visit I had a custom made with Elgin Sausage, Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon and black olives. It was delicious! The sausage was the best I have ever had on a pizza and I have had pizza all over the world. Local Slice staff are always nice and quick. I like seeing their SMART cars parked out front(Delivery Vehicles). I bet the XL just fits in one of those cars. Every time I am in Austin and feel like a good pizza, I visit Local Slice. Their pizza is great and the Margherita pizza is exceptional!

We stopped by to pick up a pizza here for the first time recently. The dough was pretty good and the toppings weren’t abundant, but not lacking either. The roasted tomatoes were tasty and overall it was satisfying. We paid about 23 bucks for a large with 3 toppings and while that isn’t cheap, we did get an extra meal out of it and it was easily better quality than any of the national chains. Service was friendly as well, and we would happily have it again.

Thin and crispy pizza. Pizza how I like it! Bonus BYOB so grabbed a bottle of wine and went and devoured this delicious pizza. Awesome local place, go support it.

Their pizza is great, the crust is new York style, thin with a good bite and chew. The toppings are fresh and good. They have a good selection of bottled beers and their sodas are Maine Root which are really good. The garlic knots are also tasty. The inside is small with about 6 tables, but they do deliver with these funny little smart cars, cool. Definitely will come back.

Big, huge NY style pizza! Or is it Chicago? Beats me, it’s big, and its good! I mean — I couldn’t even get the pizza box in the fridge! Go east on Lakeline Blvd from 183, and after a couple miles you’ll get to Local Slice. This is a small place, but they do have room for dine-in. I have ordered to pick up twice and have also gotten delivery. The pizza was ready in both cases in approximately 25 – 30 min. Not tons of sauce, lots of cheese, plenty of toppings, and no excess grease. They also give you parm and crushed pepper packets. The staff is friendly, and the delivery guy was nice. Some might think it’s pricey, but for how much you get I think it’s a fair trade off. Two slices basically make an entire meal! The drink availability was the only downside. They don’t have 2-Liters of root beer(which in my opinion is the only soda to drink with pizza). What they did have, was a medium styrofoam cup filled with ice, and then a little Maine Root RB… which would have been fine, but it was almost $ 3…Should have asked first. :)(only reason for missing star). Over all, this is one of my favorite pizza places.

I was craving pizza today so I browsed the bookmarks on my Unilocal app and found this spot. Fellow Cedar Park Unilocalers seem to really enjoy it and now I see why! I was beyond hungry because I had just driven back home from a weekend in Ft Worth and hadn’t eaten all day. I could smell the garlic knots as soon as we opened the door. They were fresh out of the oven and too tempting to ignore, especially for only $ 3. The lunch specials were still going on which are a great deal. For $ 6.50 you can pick either two slices and a drink, or one slice, a salad, and a drink. My husband got two slices of pepperoni while I went with one slice of Margherita and a side Cesar salad. The dining area is tiny, but I’m sure most customers take it to go or order for delivery. My salad came out first and FYI it comes with a garlic knot in case you want to try one, but don’t want to order 4 of them. The salad was okay, a little heavy on the dressing, but people come here for the pizza not the salads. The pizza was great. I loved the fresh basil and the roasted flavor of the tomatoes. I added hot chili flakes and it really hit the spot. My husband liked his pepperoni pizza too and we both inhaled the garlic knots. They come with marinara but are nicely seasoned on their own that I liked them enough without the sauce. This is a great place that uses local ingredients and the prices are just right. I would love to try their spinach and artichoke calzone, I bet it is delicious. The desserts are made in house too and they put Kahlua in their tiramisu! *swoon* They offer a GF crust as well so that everyone can enjoy their pies.

After hearing about how amazing Local Slice Pizza is from my Cedar Park friends I finally gave it try when a carb craving kicked in. Post workout I swung by and ordered the 2 slices and a drink special for $ 6.50 on my way home. I ordered Jesse the sausage with pepperoni and I opted for the Margherita. The guys working here were super friendly and got my order out in less than 10 minutes. While this pizza joint is not oozing with ambiance it is clean and with a sports theme. They offer several beers by the bottle to include some Texas brews and Maine Root sodas. I would like to see Topo Chico and a few wines added to the menu. With that said I loved my slice! The crust was lightly crisp yet still soft and cooked all the way through to the center. The basil, Roma tomatoes were fresh and the gooey cheese was delicious. The have some decadent options to include the«Hangover» with Elgin sausage, Canadian bacon, peppers topped with a fried egg. Local Slice does deliver and takes call ahead orders. I would say overall 4.5 stars based on the awesome service, excellent quality and the fact that they are locally owned. Next time I am craving a slice this will be my go to spot in Cedar Park.
