I’m Vietnamese, from Cali, and I know what good phở tastes like. I had the Phở Dac Biet and everything from the broth to the gun/tendons was good. Also tried the fried phở and it was great too! If you’re in Cedar Park and you like phở, you best try this place! I Will definitely come back.

I went there for lunch today and it was a very good experience. The Phở was fresh and refreshing and light. It didn’t have any taste of MSG the vegetables were all fresh and tasty. You order at the bar/island and pay. My food came out quickly and was hot! It was great and I will go again! I really liked that they have kids bowls. That will be great for when I go back with my family.

Good phở, nice people! Has a small bar setup so you can get the exact veggies you want. I go back fairly often!

YES! My favorite Phở place in Austin just moved closer to me. We usually made the trek from Cedar Park to their North Lamar location whenever we craved authentic Vietnamese food. Now they are in my backyard! I’ll miss seeing the lady owner. She was the sweetest. Get the Nem Nuong. It’s the .

Yum! This place is delicious. The location is nice, although parking can be an issue, but if you park in the back it’s a short walk up the sidewalk. The chicken phở is very good, although it is just white meat. The flavor is excellent. The vermicelli bowl and eggrolls(in a spring roll wrapper) is very good, and the fish sauce is perfectly balanced. The grilled pork spring rolls are the best I’ve had. They’re very tightly rolled, so they’re much easier to eat, and the peanut sauce is very good, not runny or bland. The employee there was very nice and even though it’s an order at the counter, checked with us to make sure we didn’t need anything, and even brought us containers to take our leftovers. Prices are also quite reasonable.

Being Vietnamese, I’ve had my fair share of phở. I brought my parents here when they visited and they weren’t impressed. The phở was what i would describe as clean. It was bland and didn’t have the phở smell. It caters to the area which is predominately white. Service was above average. But most everything is self serve, they just bring food from kitchen to table. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what i want in phở.

Love this place! The phở is incredible and the service is mega fast. My group had phở and vermicelli bows, and the fried egg rolls. All delicious and inexpensive. I would recommend looking at the menu before going on because it’s order and then sit. Will definitely come again!

Solid Phở place that WAY better than the prior occupant of this space. It has never been crowded when I been there(twice). The phở broth was tasty but balanced and the noodles and beef where just the correct consistency. I ordered the stir fried noodles on my second visit and while they were also tasty — they were too greasy to be an item that I would get again. I will stick to a big bowl of soup.

In summary, the food was good, the ambience was mediocre, and the pricing was a bit steep for being rated one-$ Starting with the pricing, I don’t think it’s way overpriced, but should be rated $$. We spent $ 31 for two. Phở isn’t the quick and cheap option it was 15 years ago. $ 15/person when you’re ordering and prepaying an getting your own drinks and accessories isn’t cheap. The ambience is just ok. Standard strip mall décor. The lighting is a little harsh and was strobing with the fan. The food was good though. Phở had good flavor and the serving size was decent. The spring rolls were hand made to order and very fresh tasting. Overall I’d be 5-star happy with either lower pricing or full table service with a cozier ambiance. The food is already there.

Wait a minute… This place is getting 5 star reviews??? I don’t know if they decided to get it together after I visited, but when I came in about a week after they first opened it was a nightmare, and I couldn’t remember the restaurant’s name so I wasn’t able to write a review until now. When I came in it was completely empty(should have taken the hint), the whole place was lit in white light similar to a hospital(should have taken the hint), The kitchen was now closed off from viewing(should have taken the hint), and upon ordering 2 dishes to go(2 beef lomeins) I sat there waiting for them for about 20 minutes. Again, with no one except me in the whole place at 8 pm on a Friday. Once it came out I took it and left. Though I should have looked at it before leaving. When I got home and opened them up they were all wrapped in foil which seemed quite odd… but the taste… There was absolutely no flavor at all and despite wrapping them in tin foil the food was luke warm. But none of this is as bad as the meat they used. almost every strip of light grey«beef» was so chewy that it was completely inedible. Despite the lack of quality, I paid $ 21 for these when it should have been more like $ 12. I thought they’d have such bad reviews, so to see this I am sort of taken aback… maybe I should try them again.

Used to go here when it was Rosie Phở for noodle soup & loved it. Tried Phở Thanh Nhi for the first time today as a take out order. SONOTIMPRESSED! I ordered the Round Steak Phở, #P10. When I opened the order at home to cook it,(it comes: soup container, then a separate container for the meat, noodles & veggies) I took one look at the meat & was very, very, disappointed. There were literally STRIPS of FAT& the«meat» looked like LOWGRADESTEWMEAT. :( I called to complain, but no one spoke enough English to even get my point across. Definitely NOT going back! Here’s the photo of my *food* Sorry if you lose your appetite!

This place is legit! I’m not familiar with this area of town so I was taking a chance on this restaurant since I had a craving for phở. Ordered a kids steak phở and this size was plentiful. The broth was so flavorful, truly the best I’ve had in Austin. I could never finish a full bowl of phở but this time I did. It’s affordable and you get a generous portion of servings. I will be back to try their other dishes.

The phở here is excellent! Very authentic, the broth is flavorful and the service is quick. If you crave good phở in the austin area, definitely give this place a try. I enjoy being able to pay for my order before being seated so that I can eat and not have to wait for my check.

Yummmmy! I could eat at Phở Thanh Nhi everyday! It’s delicious(especially the phở broth), inexpensive, clean, the staff is helpful, menu options and condiments are plentiful and I leave with my belly full and happy! I always order Phở Tai as my standard evaluation at a new Vietnamese restaurant and this place did not disappoint. It came out piping hot and the broth was delicious. I ordered it with extra veggies which consisted of mushrooms, bok choy(my favorite) and carrots. The steak was cut thin but I had enough to last through my entire bowl. Our table was stocked with enough sriracha to give me that boost of heat and I was in heaven. A small but huge difference, Phở Thanh Nhi provides real plastic spoons and not those disposable ones that make you dribble all over your chin! Win!

YUM! We shared Bun thit nuong cha gio. Cha gio was perfect, grilled pork was tasty but a little too fatty, lots of veggies. Order at the counter, pay, sit down & wait. Staff was very friendly & fast!

This place is right next to my job. It is really authentic for Vietnamese food in the area compared to phonatic. I would rather come here. The spring rolls are all around delicious! I also enjoy their phở and vietnamese coffee. Also, wifi is available for your use, which is great because I never get signal in that area.

Wuuuttttt. Thanh Nhi opened up a second location in mah hood! Same people, same menu sans sandwiches. The highlight of their menu is the gio cuon nem nuong and the bun bo hue(I get it without blood and pig feet). Their phở is also solid and is definitely a step up from Phonatic across the street, and they do a great job with the stir fried flat noodles(Hubs likes them soft whereas I prefer them crispy). Cedar Park, you’ve finally got a real Vietnamese place! Edit: they’re currently playing titanic lollzzz
