Not too bad for a first time visit. Several workers were rude and not professional. I would expect a more of a professionalism staff.

Once again, like a fool, against my better judgment, I crossed my fingers and gave Wild West another try. You’d think after all the horrific reviews, they would try to make improvements to that dump. Sadly, thats not the case. Typical, the first thing you are presented with when you walk in is no less than 20 or more fat, disgusting, uneducated, mud-sharks. You know, the kind of sick, no self respect or pride having, fat white girls with no less than 12 mixed race bastard children each by different sub-human fathers. All decked out in their finest ghetto attire, talking all ‘hood’, and obnoxiously getting in peoples faces. Effectively running any classy women or decent people off.(even worse on welfare check day.) Not even 15 minutes into the place, a barroom brawl broke out between 2 of the fattest, most pathetically disgusting skanks on Earth. They were fighting over a half-eaten Arbys beef-n-cheddar sandwich. Apparently, one of them stole it from the other and ate it, which sparked a battle royal between the two. I later found out that the fat, short, bulldyke one was partial owner of the place, and the fat blonde one with the adams apple, one tooth, and well defined moustache was their best looking, no. 1 bartendress. My advice, avoid this place. Totally ghetto and disgusting. I promise you will regret going to this place.

I went there last Saturday night and counted 22 women weighing every bit of 425 lbs… –All wearing yoga pants with cowboy boots… I’ve always wondered what 425 lbs. of cottage cheese poured into a pair of pantyhose looked like, now I know…

Are your ostrich-skin boots collecting dust? Is you cowboy hat wondering why it’s been in your closet for over a year? Need some Texas two-step and cheap beer? Check out Wild West! Although I have no check-ins, I have been here many times — during the week, weekends, you name it. Located close to 183A on 1431, tucked behind other businesses and a parking lot, is Wild West, a two-storyish country bar that has something going on almost every night. The dance floor is huge! Lots of space to explore. There are multiple bars and drink«stations» throughout, making it easy to always have a beer, cocktail, or shot in your hand. Pretty much always a cover. Some nights are ladies’ night(like the bikini contest night!). There’s also live music, andI believe there are even two-step classes they hold so you have an idea of what you’re doing. Note: if you want to get better or even just learn country dancing, I recommend joining a dance studio. I did that when I first moved to Austin(GoDance), and that really accelerated by abilities to dance with people, but it also made me realize that you can only dance certain types of country dance to certain types of song tempos(like how salsa and bachata require different song tempos). It’s worth it to learn… girls ask guys to dance in Texas, so be prepared! Drink prices are alright here. Usually around $ 2 – 3 for a beer, same for shots. I can’t speak for the ladies’ room, but the men’s room is really big — lots of urinals and stalls, and NO bathroom attendant! This is always overlooked by people until there’s a line out the door, and people making messes in the one stall or urinal(cough dallas night club). As the night goes on, the DJ will start to weave in some Top 40 and Pop music to satisfy non-country dancers. Line dances like The Wobble, Footloose, and Copper Head Road are also commonly played — so watch a YouTube video of them to get familiar. Fine, here lazies: If you REALLY want to be the Omega-B Type personality, the balcony overlooks the entire dance floor from above. Waitresses will take orders and bring drinks up there. So you’ll be nice and alone to do whatever weird stuff up there, creeper. My only issue is that the door doesn’t waive covers for military. Come on man! There goes that 5th star! I’ll give it back when I get to save my $ 5! Overall, this is a fun place, and great for those who want to stay north, have a girls night, bro down with the boys, and especially not deal with the drive to downtown.

Went out with some girls here for mom’s night out. Had a great time! The music was a mix, although I wished they played more fast music then slow music. The drinks were pretty good, can’t complain to much because its a bar lol ;). Will I be back, SURE because every mom deserves a night out with her friends!

Only giving one star because you can’t give it a zero. Underage girls, I know personally, drunk everywhere. Creepy guys. Servers are slow. Just ridiculous, I don’t know how they’re even open.

I went here on a Friday night for their happy hour with some friends. They have free two stepping lessons at 6:00! It was a bit slow during the class but around 7:30 a lot more people came and it was so much fun to see everyone two stepping on the dance floor! I had a great time and I will definitely be returning!

Disgusting, inbred, hicks. Yep, if you like kissing your sister, dippin’ snuff, and screwing sheep, then your gonna love this place! 4 out of every 5 men in there are named Bubba, and of the 12 women in there, I counted 4 teeth between them. At an average of just over 350 lbs. each, the women who frequent this little piece of redneck paradise resemble something more like a wandering herd of overweight wilderbeast. Prey to God that your not on the dance floor and someone foolishly throws a honeybun near your feet, or you will be trampled to death by a ravenous horde of Fatty Fat Fatso cornpone lovin’ country girls… Yee-Haw!!! This place is an embarrassment for Texas and all Texans everywhere… Bulldoze it.

Went on a Saturday night to see Aaron Watson, it was terrible… It was so crowded that you could not see the artist performing or much less hear him. And you want to dance? Forget that! Also, they should regulate the drinks on the dance floor, twice a drink was dropped near where I was and the glass just got kicked around. I saw maybe 2 security guys walking around the entire place, I wish this place was here when I was a minor! Lol also, parking was ridiculous and I almost got ran over twice walking to my car. Though the bartenders were very friendly they use the«old school» paper tabs instead of on the computer so getting a drink was near impossible, much less a water, very dangerous. This place has potential but I certainly won’t be going back for a concert!

Wild West opened a while ago. I have pondered venturing here many times to see a concert but always put it off. Last night I couldn’t talk myself out of going. It was Kevin Fowler after all. This location is much smaller than the one in Houston but I don’t see that as a downside. The place is clean and staff was very friendly. If you’re a two stepper there’s plenty of space for that too. The place is non-smoking but it looked like they had a place to go outside if you felt a need to puff puff. The only downsides I experienced — bathrooms could have been built to have more stalls and the parking is limited when there’s a major headliner playing.

When this place first opened, I thought it was pretty neat. But I think it has gone downhill in the last two years. It’s super crowded and it has long lines and there is a cover. There are also a lot of minors. The dance floor is super crowded and very small, like… really small… and packed with underage drinkers. It’s a fun place to experience, I have friends that love it. It’s just not all that great in my opinion. The bartenders and the rest of the staff are very rude. And they don’t exclusively play country music. Everyone there seems to love the non-country/western music, though. They always play the«wobble» and the youngins’ go crazy. It’s a very young atmosphere. But much better than Graham’s and better than having to drive all the way downtown. But the parking lot is dangerous with drunk drivers.

Went on Saturday evening. Sevice is was the worst I’ve ever seen. When we first got there there may have been 15 people there, no waitress. We go to the bar she is standing there. We have to go to the bar four times to get our drinks instead of the waitress coming to the table. Her dad must own this place. Why are we watching Yankee baseball over Southern football?

The place plain and simple SUCKS! Doorman that actually think they are important while they stand at the entry of a bar in Cedar Park, Texas! Its actually comical. Slow bar service, followed by weak ass drinks begin your night. BTW watch out for the Donut feed cops that hang out by the door, you might get bit! Some of the dumbest bouncers on earth lurk throughout this place. We watched this dumb ass bouncer slam a young girls hand in the door leading outside then proceed to yell at her, telling her she was drunk etc and throws her and her entire group out! Unbelievable. My wife examined her hand before she left and it looked broke. They charge you a cover except Wed for ladies. WHY? Cover for what? For the nasty ass bathrooms? Steriod boys sit over and bang on the punching bag all night and overweight beer servers sit near the stairs. You really cant have more unfriendly bartenders that would scare you in the dark. AVOID this place. Hopefully someone with some management skills and with a better feel for their customers opens a country western/current hits bar nearby soon! Our friends nor us will wipe our boots in this place after three terrible experiences.

«Thursdays have great drink prices and live music» Wild West is way out in Cedar Park area… I remember this side of town well before any of these establishments were here. I thought this was a great alternative to a Midnight Rodeo type of place that’s a little closer and way less obnoxious. Saturday night was a great night for girls night… unfortunately no drink specials. There was plenty going on from country music to hip hop and group songs. I will definitely have to come on a Thursday night since my friends told me they have $ 3 margaritas and rum and coke. Along with no cover for ladies. I’ll definitely be back for that! No worries if you can’t dance, apparently if you come on Friday they have happy hour and free dance lessons. Wild West is more fun and laid back than some other country dance clubs. Boasting a couple of bars, pool tables, and an upstairs area with tables and a great view to people watch. Kryptonite pitchers with a glow stick are $ 7.50 and so are long island ice tea pitchers. Most drinks are $ 3.50-$ 5.50 regular price.

This place is horrible. Went last night for Roger Creager concert and the people running the place are idiots. We walked up and they rejected my husband for wearing rainbow flip flops. Do these people realize where they are located? And it’s a country bar? Since when is this a high class club? We went home and changed — the only reason we came back is they already had our money since I bought my ticket online. Once we got in, we saw 3 male teenyboppers with cargo shorts, flip flops and tshirts. What the hell? I’m going to be spending more money buying alcohol then these 18 year olds drinking coke, but you let them in with flip flops and reject us? Stupid. The place was not even ½ full, they weren’t really in a place to be turning people away. Also — we shouldn’t have purchased our tickets online because they were actually cheaper at the door. $ 10 online + processing was more than the $ 12 at the door. I only came to see RC, who was awesome, but I will never be going back. Not my type of place.

I went out Saturday night for my best friend’s birthday. I used to frequent Graham Central Station, so we went to check out Wild West. Pros: It’s a clean place, has plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. There is no smoking, but they do have an outside patio for you to go smoke.(The room not filled with smoke was really nice). I arrived at 10pm and there wasn’t an issue with finding a parking spot either. Cons: Saturday night, you would think there would be a good mix of people. Unfortunately, not so much. I’m in my late 30s and they were either too young or too old. Maybe Friday nights are better or maybe people were out of town? I was annoyed when one bar ran out of my beer of choice, Dos Equis. How can you run out of beer? I listen to country music on a daily basis. They played songs I have never heard of. Maybe I’m not in the loop, but a lot of them I was like, huh? what is this? If they play the song Footloose and you are familiar with the 80s movie version and not the 2011 version, stay in your seat. There is a line dance to this song. You will get trampled. All in all, it was alright. I’m sure being in Wilco is an issue, too. ;)

SO — I confess that bars are really not my thing, in general. However, I do really enjoy live music. I went here on a Thursday night recently to enjoy a popular local country band. I have no complaints. At the door they were clearly checking ID’s. The bouncer was visible but not angry looking. There was a wide age range of patrons and I enjoyed people watching. People seemed to be anywhere from young to old and plenty in the middle. I think you could enjoy this place at any adult age.(really especially the people watching — some of these folks can really dance.) The place was clean. It did not smell like an ash tray or a urinal. There is an outdoor area with tables and chairs. It’s two story inside with balconies around the dance floor so you can be in the lime light or if you just want to be alone with your date or a group it’s easy to do so. There are tables and chairs both up and down. The stage was easily viewed from all over inside. The music and patron attire is mostly country — which is what one would expect from this theme of establishment. They could have skipped the other genres entirely as far as I’m concerned. Want another genre? There’s a joint for that too… The atmosphere was laid back and casual. Seemed like a nice enough crowd. Lots of dancing. People seemed to be having a good time. There did appear to be only one waitress for the entire club — but since I was there for the music it seemed enough to me. We had a good time. We enjoyed the band. Again, no complaints. It’s great to be able to take in live music in a clean, non-trashy environment! I will go again without concern should the opportunity present itself. I’ll be watching the live band schedule for another enjoyable night out.
