This is hands down my favorite venue in Newbo City Market. I absolutely love strolling around the venue and seeing what new plants they have or cute trinkets.
The plants are in great shape. I’ve seen everything there from succulents to lavender. The décor and plant pots they sell are all adorable. Bark and Bloom is very much into upcycling old into new, and they do it beautifully.
If you or a member of your family has a green thumb (or you are trying to turn your brown thumb green), I’d definitely recommend starting here.

On my first visit to Bark & Bloom, I bought seed packets from Seed Savers out of Decorah, Iowa. I love that they sell Seed Savers here, but wish there was a larger selection from Seed Savers or heirloom seeds in general.
Everything in this little shop is adorable though, from the succulents and air plants, to miniature fairy gardens, handmade wool flowers, and ceramic garden décor. But tread lightly, because those succulents and air plants are pricey! Little over $ 5 for a small succulent and $ 10 for an air plant. Uffda. But it’s a great spot to pick up a gift… be it for someone else your yourself.
And those handmade wool cat toys? My cat approves.
