This is my go-to Mexican restaurant! They have great food and the service there is good as well. I love that they have table side fresh guacamole and the owners often walk around and add a free shot of tequila to your margaritas.

Very slow service. We sat down on a Thursday night at 7 pm. It took the waiter 20 minutes to take our order. We then waited an hour to get our food and the order was wrong. It took the 15 minutes to correct 3 beef tacos to 3 chicken tacos and no apology was made. We finished eating and had to wait another25 minutes to get our check. That was only after I went to the bar to get the check. In the meantime we saw 3 other Yankees wroth just as many people get their orders taken and fulfilled after having come in after we did. These same tables left well before we did. We finally left at 9 pm. They only had yep quotes working the restaurant. The food is ok and not remarkable in any way. The service used to be good but has dropped off a lot since they opened. Not worth going unless you want to kill a lot of time.

I don’t know how good the food was but the free table side shot of tequila gets a big thumbs up! Margarita was huge!!! The only reason I can’t comment on food is I don’t remember! Good customer service, seated quickly, loved the idea of the traveling guacamole maker(although I didn’t have any)! Fun night!

This was my third time eating here. I was either more observant or it had gone down hill since the last time eating here. My first and second experiences were great, this last time will probably be my last time. I give a 1 out 5 for cleanliness of the restrooms and 3 out of 5 for the cleanliness of the restaurant. Restaurant was not very clean and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and in need of major repairs. The food was still 4 out of 5 stars. Tough to enjoy your food thinking how dirty the kitchen could have been. I give the waitress a 4 out of 5. She was nice and pretty quick with anything our party needed. Hopefully the owner takes a few hours and a few dollars to clean and replace some of the items that need to be replaced.

Fresh quacamole cart Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 9. Quite a treat. Carne azada is always good. I like the tacos el paraiso also.

Inappropriate behavior? It was a horrible experience .My wife went there for lunch with my 3 months old daughter .She was meeting up with her two other friends .She got table and when she start looking at the menu one of their server start rubbing her shoulder from her back. My wife thought must be her friend but few second later when she turned back it was a waiter??? she was shocked and horrified and mad. I worked in restaurant for many years but I never saw anyone get so personal like this? .She would have called the cops on them. This is really bad/shameful and hurtful .I would never go back there in my life and let all my friends know what happen to my wife. I would not recommend this restaurant. Next day i called the restaurant the manager and owner was not there. Spoke to the hostess which seems really polite and nice and explained the situation. Just said«how would you feel if you go the restaurant with your family and some waiter does this to you«how would you feel and what will be the family/friends reaction at time. Anyway really sad to hear that this family owned restaurant does not respect the family value

Well, I had high hopes for this place. First off service not the greatest… sat in the booth for 10 minutes before someone came over. Margaritas tasted like gasoline. Had the fajitas, which were actually pretty good. Waiter was kinda rude and we seemed to «bothering» him. Would have given 2 stars, but the food was pretty good.

Uhhh what? Mid afternoon on a weekday, it appears they only have 2 actual people working here. The hostess and apparent waitress had her purse on(?) And I was told I couldn’t sit at the bar. Okay, lets back up. I’ve only been here 10 minutes and at least I have a beer and just placed my order with the waitress wearing her purse(?). I have to say the building and surroundings feel pretty sketchy. The mall parking lot pavement is definitely showing it’s age, and it feels like a ghost town. The dead birds and unkempt sidewalk don’t help. I have good memories of this area when i was a kid — who wouldn’t with a movie theater and arcade themed pizza joint once upon a time? Hopefully the mall redevelopment helps the exterior feel warm up a bit, but fire now they could probably wipe the greasy handprints off the front door. Or mop the entry, my feet did that weird sticky thing where it was gross. So the food was fast and standard and decent for American Mexican fare. The burrito supreme was just big chunks of marinated chicken in a tortilla. Once the cook came in from his smoke break(there were three people working!) it took less than a minute to get my food. So thirty seconds to plate everything, since he surely washed his hands for 30 seconds after smoking. Right? Overall it felt like my presence as a customer was an interruption in their day. For a $ 10 burrito go to chipotle or make your own. They had dropped off my bill before asking if I wanted another beer lol. Wow. Skip this one unless you really really dig the cheap Mexican American refried bean and rice scene.

Loved it! Went this past Friday… it was crowded but we were seated in no time. We loved our meals… Husband had spicy shrimp that he said was amazing. I had the tacos azada and they were really, really good. Portions are huge so plan on taking some food home. Freshly made guacamole is excellent-they prepare it right at your table and there is no comparison when it’s made fresh like that! Margaritas are very tasty and the owner will probably come by and top them off with more tequila! Service was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

I must have visited this restaurant on an off night, judging by the rave reviews it has received from other Unilocalers. I had dinner here last night for the first time with my family. My brother wanted to try it, and the reviews were in its favor. Quite honestly, however, my experience was not as memorable, and I will not return. The service was slow right off the bat when we were waiting to be seated. The restaurant was not even half full, but we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food. If the kitchen was short-staffed or something, it’s only courteous that our server inform us. Our server was only present while taking our orders and dropping off the check; otherwise, we never saw him. He wasn’t very welcoming and seemed like he’d rather be elsewhere. The salsa was not enjoyable – it was basically tomatoes, onions, and a packet of taco seasoning. None of our meals really stood out, I’ve had better. The margaritas and guacamole are the only praises I have to offer. I am really unimpressed with this establishment and I would not recommend it. I’ll stick to La Cantina downtown.

First time here. From out of town. This place was great. Fabulous service. First rate guacamole. Really good salsa. Chimichanga fried to perfection. Beef flavorful and tender. My wife had chicken quesadillas and she loved the chicken.

This restaurant is my Mexican friend’s favorite. I have only ever had good food and margaritas here. If you want good authentic Mexican food you will like it here. If you want Americanized Mexican food then you should go to a Mexican restaurant that has an English name probably.

Amazing mexican. This is our new go-to mexican restaurant. They have remarkable guacamole, and the service is very attentive. They did a great job of quickly redoing this from the fieldhouse(former occupant). I think it literally reopened in 3 weeks.

For being brand new very good. Margaritas were pretty good. Service was really friendly. Little slow but I am sure they are working out the kinks. Nice touch with the table side guac. Menu has a splash of Italian and with kids variety is good. I’d recommend and come back.
