The best pizza option in the area. I love the scene at the market and the fact that u can sit back and enjoy ur pizza while people watching. The crust is amazing it’s cherry and crisp at the same time. The sauce taste so fresh with a light tomato sweetness. The perfect amount of cheese. This is just an all around perfect place to get pizza.

Pros:
1. Wood fired pizza, ‘nuf said!
2. The crust is excellent, doughy yet with a bit of a crust. Very close to perfection in my opinion.
3. Sauce and toppings are fresh. I ordered the Margherita pizza and they said it was fresh local basil!
4. These are perfect for a single serving or even to share if you are not as hungry.
5. New Bo market. Really enjoy this place and Maggie’s has a corner space. Great place to roam around and pick up lunch or dinner and peruse the other shops.

They do the best wood-​fire pizza in the area, hands down. I’ve eaten pizza all over Italy and this is the closest to authentic you can find in Iowa by far.

I lived in Naples, Italy (the birthplace of pizza) for 2 years and tasted some of the best in the world; Sorbillo’s, Il Presidente, Da Michele, etc. This is the closest thing I’ve found State-​side since and is just as delicious! Even the checkered paper is reminiscent of my favorite little Neapolitan pizza stands. Overall, best pizza around!

Limited, but excellent topping choice, and you have to get your beer at another booth in the market, but super good, thin crust, and that’s the most important component of a great pizza. It’s part of a fun evening wandering the NewBo on a nice afternoon/​evening. Much better than any chain pizza joint or bar.
