Mac N Cheese Pizza

Cute little strip mall pizza place right off I380. On the week I stopped the were offering $ 1 slices for lunch, with specialty slices a bit more. I had a slice of taco and another slice of pep and a soda for $ 5 and that was satisfying — the taco slice was loaded up and crunchy.
The shop itself is open, with booth and table seating in a small carpeted dining area. It’s not a classy joint by any means but it’s not worn-​out looking, either. The staff was mostly younger and smiling, service in the small place is hard to get wrong.
I’d guess their full-​size pies are pretty decent, the crust was of the thinner variety but not as plain/​bland as some around here. Worth a try, especially if you’re in the area for lunch.

Though the pizza looked good, we found the crust (New York style) to be tough. Lacked flavor. This was our first, and probably only, time for this pizza.

Looks great in the photos but that is as far as it goes. My first order was underwhelming. Perhaps it was a bad day. I ordered a delivery and the service was fast and accurate. But the pizza was badly prepared. The pie was so wet it almost sunk through the corrugated cardboard box. The preparer failed to drain the ingredients. I never seen a pizza so poorly made. Worse was the taste. It tasted blandly unseasoned and had an overall off-​taste as well. The nice looking tomato sauce tasted like it had been poured directly right out of a tin can. The cheese was not caramelized and did not extent to the lip of the pie. The pie also appeared to be undercooked. This pizza lover will not be back.

You get one chance to make a first impression.
Under whelmed is what comes to mind with this place. Their pizza is nothing special and the service is the same. There’s better pizza in town folks. Keep looking.

Great stuff! We had cheesy garlic rolls and the Detroit-​style pizza. Omg. The rolls were so yummy — garlicky, oozing with mozzarella, with just a little crunchy cheese deliciousness around the outside. The pizza was excellent as well. Perfectly cooked, thick, chewy Detroit crust with cheese all the way to the edge. You won’t skip that crust. That caramelized cheese at the edges will demand to be shoved in your face ASAP. Overall, excellent and worth the price. The owners are good peeps and checked on us often. We’ll be back!

Very good pizza! We got the Detroit style combo and it was very good! We will being going back sometime soon! We went at around 7 and there was hardly a wait to get the pizza at all!
