I really like their pizza(3.5 — 4 stars). However they NEVER answer their phone! Seriously out of 5 different tries I will get voicemail 4 times. I cannot understand how this happens — how do you run a business this way?

I decided to give this place a try because a portion of my order was going back to my son’s school. I was not impressed. We ordered 2 med pizzas and the bill was $ 30+ and the food was middle of the road as far as pizza goes. We won’t be back. There are much better pizza places in the area for the price.

I’ve been wanting to try them for a while, but it seems like they’re never open. They also didn’t answer their phone the one time I tried to call, and the hours on the web site don’t match the hours they have on their voicemail. Regardless, we finally came in here one evening and were the only customers. The pizza was okay, not great, and the garlic knots were literally pieces of garlic bread cut into tiny pieces. Tavern style is my favorite style of pizza so I might come back at some point.

Phenomenal pizza! So lucky I drove by and decided I’d give it a shot. The owner and his wife were working the shop and were so very courteous. So hungry I dinned in and the atmosphere was welcoming with stocked condiments. I’ll be going back for more great eats.

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile, but they are closed on Sunday and Monday and don’t deliver! Honestly, that takes a star and half off for me! I mean why close on prime Football(aka pizza heaven) days? At any rate, we popped in on a Tuesday night and the place was a ghost town. The couple was friendly and they got our garlic knots out and pizza hot and fast. The garlic knots are actually just cut up pieces of really buttery garlic bread(needs a name change). The pizza is a thin crust cheese pizza with toppings to the edge, cut in squares. I liked it, but I can’t say it was a get in my car and drive all the way over there for it good kind of pizza. Worth a try though!

The garlic knots were simply cut up pieces of garlic bread. But the mob boss sub was fantastic. Decently priced also

They had great food, the wings were amazing! But the service was even better. They were so nice despite us being a large group of teens. I loved the food and the people even more!

This is my favorite pizza shop! The pizza and quirky turkey sandwich are my favorite! The owners are so kind and their service is fantastic. They go above and beyond all the time, it reminds me of a mom and pop shop! I love it here!

Went in over the weekend and had the pleasure of meeting Ron and Debbie, the owners of J Burns’ Pizza Shop. They were super friendly and I really love supporting a small, family-owned business/franchise whenever possible. The food was great and the restaurant was spotless. Ron and Debbie both came out to visit with us while we were waiting for our food and I couldn’t help but feel like a welcomed guest. We tried out the large Greek salad which was plenty for two and shared a large pizza and ended up taking home leftovers. The pizza has a great sauce and the crust was thin, but didn’t taste like some cheap cracker crust as so many others do. Toppings go right to the edge of the pizza and then the pizza itself is cut into little squares. It threw me a little at first, but then as you start eating, you realize it’s great because every bite-sized square is covered with toppings. The rest of the menu looked really nice, and they use Boars Head meats for their sandwiches, so I’m excited to go back and try one out. The prices are affordable and you get top-quality food for the price you pay. Give ‘em a try, I think you’ll like it!

Wow! Where do I start?! First of all, J. Burns has a great selection of lunch and dinner items. But to get to the question everyone’s probably wondering about: yes, their pizza is awesome! Their pizzas taste amazing and they’re so uniquely different-in such a good way. I’d describe it as thin crust, but it’s a soft thin crust which is awesome. Additionally, there’s not really a crust, which I actually like(to me, eating crust just wastes space that should used for the good part of pizza). But what I really like about their pizza is how they slice it with the perfect combination of ingredients. They don’t slice it traditionally, but instead into bite size slices. This great for sharing with the family, but what I love even more is that it makes each bite the perfect bite of pizza. Other pizza places skimp out on the toppings, but J. Burns slices pack on the toppings! I’m a pepperoni and sausage guy, and it’s nice to have each bite of my pizza actually have the ingredients that I ordered as opposed to other places that might have two or three pepperoni and a few pieces of sausage per slice. Anyways, super good pizza; tasty bread and cheese, a nice sauce, and epic toppings. And their sandwiches are good too, but maybe I’ll review those in another post.

We decided to try this place tonight. All it all it’s decent pizza. The older couple working seemed very nice. This is definitely better than Little Caesars or Papa Johns. I would not want to put it up against Big Bills Pizza or even Jet’s Pizza myself.
