I don’t know how long it’s been since I was at Maggie Moo’s but — wow, unlimited mix-ins? I got a large vanilla with waffle pieces(definitely the best of the ones that I chose), Oreo pieces, Reese’s pieces(be warned — the picture shows Reese’s cups, but they actually just have Reese’s pieces) and white chocolate chips to share. We were helped immediately and given generous samples. Some of the ice cream flavors, however, were noticeably melted — including caramel, the flavor I most wanted to try. I was a little upset at having to miss that.

We were walking around shopping and stumbled upon this establishment. I have seen Maggie Moo before but actually never tried their ice cream. Decided to give this place a try today. Noticed that they had some pretty cakes displayed. Tried a few flavors and decided on the pumpkin ice cream with toasted almond mix in. The pumpkin ice cream was delicious. I love the creamy texture and the flavor is just perfect for me with a great balance of flavors, a hint of spice and not overwhelmingly sweet. The almond added a bit of crunchiness. I really enjoyed it. The small size was perfect for me and it included 1 mix in for 3.99 plus tax. It’s not cheap and can add up if you want larger size and multiple mix ins … Sometimes you just have to splurge for ice cream and I don’t mind as long as it’s good.

Maggie Moo’s feels like it is trying to hard to be another chain that mixers ingredients in, and tries to top regular dairy farm establishments. It fails. The ice cream is ok. You will go, you will enjoy it just like I did. However, I am fairly certain you will think to yourself that you have had better many many times. One of my biggest pet peeves about this place is that it is ALWAYS dirty. You can’t set your wallet down while paying… it will have ice cream on it. As I don’t go here often this has happened to me more than once. My fault… I know. If you want to try to sit at a table… guess what… it’s dirty! Overall it really makes for an unremarkable experience which makes me go here rarely. If I am going to eat the calories… I want to enjoy them!!!

I actually like this better than Cold Stone. To me, Cold Stone ice cream is too sweet. I know, I know… picky picky… but Maggie Moos has just enough sweetness. Try the cake batter ice cream with rainbow sprinkles — a classic. I like to hit this place up after a movie or during a shopping excursion. There are a couple of tables to sit outside but I usually end up munching their ice cream while I’m walking around. Service was okay. They’re a little pricey, but I guess if it’s only once in awhile it’s no big deal.

Wonderful staff, quick line on a crowded night, DELICIOUS flavors! Small place for a big mall, but we made ourselves comfy and no one was annoyed that we had a larger group. Kids were ecstatic over the flavors and sprinkled cones… price was right down the middle.

Smooth, creamy, and very delicious ice cream! I definitely prefer Maggie Moo’s creations over Cold Stone Creamery’s. The Espress yourself creation is heavenly(but I always make sure to add a brownie!), and their chocolate milk shakes are by far the best that I have ever had. Their fresh banana ice cream is also very tasty — it tastes just like a creamy frozen banana!

Maggie Moo’s is like Coldstone Creamery, but BETTER! The ice cream is smooth and creamy and FULL of flavor. I had my all time favorite butter pecan w/Heath Bar pieces. Deeelicious :) I’m a fan!

I am slowly getting used to the fact that I am not in New York anymore, as depressing as that sounds. I have lived in Allentown, Pa for 4 yrs now and it has grown on me to an extent, a very, very small extent. I never thought that I would find Ice Cream this delicious in what is basically the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania. Maggie Moo’s is locate at the Shops at the Promenade outdoor mall at Saucon Valley acres, an upper middle class to wealthy area of eastern Pennsylvania. I had to remove one star on this review for the lack of indoor or outdoor seating at this ice-cream palace but other then that this place makes absolutely excellent ice-cream. I took my daughter here and enjoyed it so much we have pretty much made Maggie Moo’s a weekly event. My little girl is somewhat of a 2 year old ice cream connoisseur and she goes wild over the Better Batter Cake Carnival ice cream. Delicious Vanilla ice cream with cake batter, mashed twix bars, cookie dough and fudge toppings. It’s temptation in a cup! I know, I really should try the other flavors but both my daughter and I keep going back to the BBCC over and over again! OK… This New Yorker still misses New York, but they sure got some great ice-cream around here!
