Absolutely incredible cheeses. Try the blue cheeses and the orgegonzola. They also have a great local beer selection.

The only reason this grilled cheese isn’t the envy of chefs worldwide is that it’s served in a quaint cheese shop somewhere off I5 in Oregon. No matter the reason you’re on the road or how quickly you need to get somewhere, this is a must stop.

Had higher expectations for this place. They weren’t making cheese at the time we visited So it is basically a cheese shop with other items. Had the grill cheese sandwich– nothing to rave about.

My husband surprised me with a visit here on our way home to Portland. It’s a smaller shop, but well stocked. Books, cheese, popcorn, chocolates, cheese boards… The tea towels were especially cute. They even have their own clothing! I loved the exterior flowers in the milk containers & truck. It was so cute walking up. The blue cheese powder is great! I’d love to come back for some cheese samples, unfortunately I was in a hurry.

I really liked the cheese samples they had here and the staff was helpful and friendly. We came here because Google said there was a factory tour and we thought our kids would enjoy it. Be aware that the«factory tour» is a window into the work area where the staff is making cheese and that’s about it. That being said, it’s a fun little place to stop if you’re in the area but it shouldn’t be your final destination.

The blue cheese and honey sandwich was to die for. I love the generous amount of samples scattered throughout the store as well as the attentiveness of the counter staff and their willingness to explain the different cheeses in the cases and to share OMG more samples!!! Get a sandwich to go and head to the tasting room next door and you’ll feel like you are in a little slice of Sonoma!

Small place, but great samples and grilled cheese sandwich(for only $ 6). If you like blue cheese, this is a must, especially the one steeped in brandy and preserved in Syrah leaves. Don’t plan on spending a long time here, but yum.

Great stop — walked in and there was lots to look at with a visiting vendor(Vinter’s Kitchen) sampling jellies, mustard and sauces. They were very welcoming to try. Bought a bunch as great gifts for when I’m back home. It was hard to tell that you could sample cheese from the cheese cabinet area but you can. The guy was really cool as he was busy so I walked away after sampling and he was kind to come over to me in the store to ask if I wanted anything which I did. I wish I was more hungry going in as they had grilled cheese sandwiches they were making which looked to die for. So keep that in mind if you are going to visit!

Delightful little creamery that smells delicious as you walk in… They have all sorts of samples, I love bleu cheese and the Rogue River Blue is simply scrumptious– just melts in your mouth…

If you are a cheese fan, especially blue cheese, you gotta go here. The best domestic blues in the US are made here. They have several. And they’re all great, but I’m very partial to the Oregon Blue. Additionally, there are lots of other, non cheese gourmet options. We picked up some balsamic vinegar, some bread, jam, some little pepperonis. A very fun store.

Cheese lover. Rogue Creamery left a lot to be desired for me. I’m not sure if its the time and day that I came in that was an issue, but my experience was underwhelming. We walked in and had no idea what to do. We were staring at the cheese case, and hoping maybe someone would give us some guidance. Finally, one guy said hi. Then the guy behind the counter asked if it’s our first time. Isn’t it obvious? He pointed to some cheese in the other room that we could sample. He also said he could let us try something that was in the glass case. I found out later that he really didn’t want to do this. I tried three of the samples that were out. They were good. Nothing special. There was a white cheese that starts with an M that I tried and I thought that was the best. I asked the guy if he could recommend anything similar to that that I could try and he either didn’t hear me or ignored it. I wanted to pick a cheese to try and then order a grilled cheese with this cheese selection. To my surprise I was told we could only have a grilled cheese based on the two options they provided. Bummer! No grilled cheese of my picking and no watching the cheese production process. I went with the chocolate stout grilled cheese and it was ok. The bread was a bit darker and crispier than my liking.

This one of my must stops on our Oregon trip. Of course things got in the way and I ended up rushing here just before closing on our last day. We stopped at Lillie Belle down the street first. They were pretty busy so it took longer then we thought there. My husband ran down here while I was waiting to pay and they were nice enough to stay open a few minutes later for me. I was happy they stayed open and I was able to check out the shop but i felt rushed cause they were closing and pressure to buy stuff since they stayed open for me. I ended up picking up a few things but look forward to going back with more time for sampling and learning about the cheeses.

Best cheese ever! Love that it is all local and just down the street! People are so sweet when you walk through the door! Great thing about coming in is the samples! They also have bread and meat! Also love that there is wine tasting right next door! Best thing to put next to a cheese place!

There are 3 reasons I travel from San Diego to Southern Oregon every year, my in-laws, Lillie Belle chocolates and Rogue Creamery. This place is freakin’ awesome. Now, I am not a big cheese eating person. I will put it on sandwiches, or on a cracker with some meat, but I don’t normally just eat the cheese by itself(grilled cheese sandwiches not withstanding). However they have a pesto curd that I could spend all day eating. — They also have plain curd that are just as good as the pesto(for those who don’t like pesto) They have several styles of cheddar cheese, including both a habanero and jalapeño, a chocolate stout, and a lavender flavored. All of which are very tasty, and all of which you can taste while you are there. They also have several styles of blue cheese that are just outstanding. Additionally they have a cheese called TouVelle that is a mild semi-hard cheese that goes really good with wine, fruit, and 2 slices of buttered bread on a hot surface(grilled cheese). They also carry a large number of other cheeses, several varieties of Rogue River beer, and fresh butter made from the same milk that is used in their cheese. A new addition is that they are carrying some artisan breads and meats, and you can get grilled cheese sandwiches made with their award winning cheese Hand crafted and imported cheeses are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. And what you pay for is a hand crafted product that is outstanding in every way. Please note that some of the flavors will change depending on what time of year it is, or what they want to make

Cheese samples are great. Love the lavender cheese, and the blue cheeses. Wish their was smaller cuts of cheese. It was unclear from the website if grilled cheese sandwiches were always offered.

I drove 1.5 hours from Klamath Falls to come here. I have read about the wonderful blue cheese that Rouge Creamery makes, and have seen the cheeses sold at Whole Foods. But I wanted to come to the actual place, and taste and buy the cheese(which is not cheap, but worth every penny). But what makes this place wonderful is the staff. I asked about cheese paper, and the guy at the counter gave me a comprehensive lesson on storing cheese, how to use and fold the cheese paper. The store has many cheese samples, and I sampled more at the cheese counter. I went home happily with two types of blue cheese, in my tiny cooler box. Certainly a highlight of my trip!

If you like cheese(& I do) this is the place for you. Local, handcrafted and DELICIOUS! The blues are exceptional, you can’t go wrong. The also have a variety of hard cheeses. Super friendly and helpful staff who have a passion for cheese too. I make an effort to visit any time I am in this part of the state.

Yummy! Samples are generous but I wish there had been more variety. Happy with their gluten free cracker, cookie and bread offerings; and the bread is made locally. I have yet to try the bread but I’m stoked for it. It smelled awesome and it was as soft as conventional loaf bread.

Cheese is my absolute favorite! I think it’s fantastic how you can try at least six cheeses. I think it’s really cute how they have the little paper spoons to sample. I ended up buying lavender cheese and a really cute insulated bag for travel on the airplane. The service was extremely friendly and I love the selection unique beers. I would definitely return on my next trip to Medford!

Me and my boyfriend are sort of to-be cheese snobs. Trying all different kinds of cheese is our thing. We had been wanting to come here for quite some time, but never got around to it. We finally did it a couple weeks ago… and it was awesome. They have a table with samples of cheeses, books on how to make it, all kinds of stuff. They have big windows so you can see inside where they make it too. Sure it’s some are expensive, but it’s hand-made awesomeness. Can’t get better than that!
