I have been living here since 2010, initially started with one bedroom apartment and as family expanded upgraded to two bedroom . Pros: — Near Mall, Walmart, Meijers and all major businesses on Prospect Ave. Literally you can walk . — University of Illinois discount — Very cordial and responsive staff. One time my AC unit stopped working on a weekend, called them and came within half an hour, offered me a window unit until they can get a new one on Monday. One time my sink motor gave out, replaced within a business day. Same with few repairs like paint etc. — Annual professional carpet cleaning with renewal of lease. — Spacious Apartments — Xfinity and Att have already been wired, once you activate, don’t need to call anyone. — Water and waste charges are included in rent — I required a letter to be sent for proof of residence and good standing, they send within a day. — Small gym, pool available — Community center, small but can book for parties Cons: — Walls are thin and sometimes you can hear neighbors(trouble if they play loud music) — No Uverse optic fiber so comcast has no competition and they charge whatever they want. Charge extra for Dish if placed in front of apartment — Only one trash site so if you live at the end you have to walk — Only electric heating and apartments are not well sealed so electricity bills average +200 /month for two bedroom apartment in winter. — No washer and dryers, you can rent for $ 15/month(space and fittings are there) Final Verdict: For the price, service and convenience of major business right next to apartments, I will recommend to everyone.

It looks ok from the outside. Just ok on the inside too. The walls aren’t that thin but the ceiling is creaky. I can hear ever step my upstairs neighbor makes. They allow dogs. All sizes(even though it says they have to be small). The problem with that is, not a lot of people use leashes or pick up the dog poop. It also has a small pool, small exercise room, and small«clubhouse»(not rent-able for large groups).
