Gave bdubs another try and It was GREAT ordered food to go and when I was paying ext she opened every single box to make sure everything looked okay .she even asked if she wanted my wings spun again and I said no they look great … So tried fried pickles… SOOOOOGOOD they were very crispy .the way they are supposed to be (Tried 5 – 8 again one last time because they mailed me a gift certificate DISGUSTING the fried pickles there literally would flap around in the wind they were not crispy at all. and so greasey. anyway) Very impressed this time around I hope they continue to Do this well and we will be back :-)

Terrible terrible terrible service. No one in the place and took server about 10 minutes to attend to our table. I got sick of waiting so went and got our own drinks… based on that alone I would not return. That being said food came out within 5 minutes of ordering and was fresh and pretty tasty.

These guys have gone from the benchmark for wings, to resting on their laurels and half assing it while their competitors put them to shame. If you must go to BWW, go to the Plymouth location. However both locations have become cheap on saucing up the wings… many come out with barely any sauce on them. Service here is hit and miss, they favor the regulars over other customers so get used to that. Now they’ve really gone the rip off route and wings are sold by weight(so all the crumbs and mystery pieces count) and they charge you extra(per cup!) for dressing and veggies that other place provide WITHTHEMEAL. For good and fully coated wings without all the drama and wasted 20-somethings, go to Granite City.

I used to frequent this place in champlin a lot. Quality of the wings worsened in the last 6 months or so. I’d ask for extra wet but the finished product is not as wet ss the regular wings. Oil used for frying tastes and smells old and overused.

Waitress was nice at first. Asked about what’s good to try, she said they’re all good. I ordered 20 wings for me and my little brother. We had a tasty dinner. When the bill came I was shocked that they charged 60 cents per ranch cup. I asked for a little ranch and she gave me 2 cups. We had another 2 cups brought to us for my little brother. When I asked about that on the bill she said, «Oh yeah, they’re 60 cents each» then WALKEDAWAY! We only used 2 cups, so I felt like I just wasted money. Also, she left! Walked away from my question!

Love the fried pickles and bones less wings BUT if you decide to be crazy and order a burger and flatbread instead, I think it throws off the kitchen and then you have to wait a really long time for your food…

Large selection of wing sauces. Large selection of beers if you just want a drink. Friendly staff. Amazing wings.

I’m not sure why we keep coming here. Maybe it’s just that we like BWWs and this location is convenient. Maybe we’re gluttons for punishment. Either way, this tends to be a place where my wife and I have met her family on several occasions. On the better visits, the service is just slow. On the worse visits, they have messed up our orders(minor things like the wrong cheese on our Buffalo chips or fries instead of carrots with the kids meals or five billion cups of ranch and no bleu cheese). These were tolerable missteps, but our most recent visit has put this place on our list of restaurants to avoid. We had a larger party with 18 of us celebrating a birthday. It shouldn’t have been a big deal as we’ve had groups there that large before. We all arrived at 5:30, got our drinks and had our orders in by 6:00. Half an hour later, we were curious about where are food was. Fifteen minutes after that, we still had nothing. It was a full hour after ordering that we got our food. Most of it was cold. Some of it was lukewarm. The manager was trying to tell us that we had only been waiting for 22 minutes, but he soon lost that argument. Half our party were children, all restless and hungry by that point, and we begrudgingly ate simply to get some food in us and go. But wait! They tried to make amends by redoing our entire order! So, twenty minutes after bringing cold food that we’d waited an hour for, we got everything we had ordered AGAIN, this time fresh and hot. Why this was their solution I do not know. Honestly, all we wanted to do was to get out of there, and now not only did we have all this fresh, hot food(having just choked down the cold food), most of it just went into to-go boxes anyway. To top it off, as we’re trying to square away our checks and get going, they brought out a round of desserts. Those we left on the table, pretty much untouched. It was an almost comical gesture. After all, we had a gaggle of restless kids that had been pushed to the limits of their patience by the long wait, now the manager wanted to sugar them up? Besides, it was a birthday celebration, and we were all heading back to the in-laws’ house for cake anyway. Thankfully they didn’t try to saddle us with gift cards like other reviewers have reported, as it seems theirs are only good at that location. Bottom line is, if you want to have a decent experience at Buffalo Wild Wings, I would recommend driving a little further. Try the Plymouth or Southdale locations, as I’ve had great service at both. You won’t find us at the Champlin location if we can help it.

Stopped by today after my daughter’s swim meet. Slow service punctuated with poor quality food(so little sauce on my wings I couldn’t even taste it). Seems every BWW I’ve been to lately had poor service and no quality control. Won’t be heading back to any of them until they get their act together. Too many other good options, usually right next door to them.

Douchey/ditzy staff drive me CRAZY. Nobody really knows what they are doing and it just kind if seems like staff is just hanging around on ledges. Could use a little more cleanliness as well. The only reason for the 2 stars is the beer kid that came around and gave me free samples.

Avoid this place at all cost! The service was so awful that everything else didn’t even matter. It took the waitress nearly 45 minutes to take our order after giving us our drinks. After the order was taken it took another 45 minutes for the food to come out.(The sad thing was the place wasn’t even busy). After we received our food, one of my friends didn’t even get his full order but only half of what he ordered. On top of that they charged us for additional items that we didn’t even order. This place is also too cheap to even coat the wings with the necessary amount of sauce required to actually be called a buffalo wing. The wings were so dry that they tasted like plain popcorn chicken. You have all been warned.

So I wish I could make it no stars as the bartender leans on the counter bitching about how slow it is my drink sits here empty for the second time. Takes them 20 to 30 minutes to acknowledge the need for a drink. Service has gone down the drain here. Seriously wake up

Don’t waste your time! They just dont care!!! Time for new management! The only reason they got 1 star is because Unilocal made me do it!

I pretend to be a cultured upper crust type, but my roots are firmly buried in the impure soils of white trash ancestry. So, it should be no great surprise that I’ve frequented the BWW in Champlin a time or two. I’ve watched the bones pile up in front of me like a ghoul at the pet cemetery. The wings are good(I eat honey BBQ backs, without excepton). The fries aren’t bad. The service is average, but they keep the wings coming and you don’t feel like a creep(as you would over at a place like Hooters). Rarely is there a wait(unless you happen in there during a major sporting event) and the prices are reasonable.

I’ve eaten at this BWW quite a lot. The have a great staff, very friendly. They can be a little pokey bringing you your check but other than that I think this is a great place to have a beer and watch your favorite sports team!

OK, Wings are one thing and I’ve reviewed their wings before. Very average wings but the simple blue cheese sauce is where they drop the ball big time, out of a tub! This last trip was with my daughter for a quick dinner and I thought I’d try the Chicken Taco like thing, they have some«special» name for it but it is just a half-ass taco. Now as I sat there eating this all I could think to myself was«Wow, I’ve made something better than this at 3am, drunk with the munchies but limited things in the fridge». Really, that would be the way I would describe the food, drunken late night munchies you made yourself. I guess I will never get how this place has grown the way that it has other then there aren’t that many wing places that strive to grow like mad and spread out around the globe. I’ll become a fan the minute they drive over and steal the Blue Cheese recipe from another chain(that has nothing to do with wings but makes better blue cheese) Famous Dave’s! KT

I’ve eaten at the Champlin BWW at least 10 times. Although my experiences have varied(4 stars is my average), they have all be pretty positive, but my last one was oh-so-yelp-worthy! Our server, Christopher, provided us with superb service. He kept his eye on us and made sure we always had what we needed. Before we paid, we asked him if we could purchase some of the«desert heat» dry rub. He said he wasn’t sure they had packaged for sale yet, but would see what he could do. He came back with one of their to-go containers and offered to fill it up with the seasoning for a few dollars. We took him up on it, but when it came time to pay, he didn’t even charge us anything!

First visit: A friend and I went to dine in the restaurant. Every step of the process was waiting and waiting and waiting. I understand that it’s not the server’s fault if the food takes longer than usual, but our server was completely vapid and even got confused when we asked for soda refills.(‘More? You want more?’) When she wasn’t making it hard for us not to laugh at her, she almost conspicuously ignored our table. It was like she’d glimpse that our credit cards were out, then turn around and pretend she could unsee what she saw, thus somehow abdicating herself of responsibility. Getting our checks took a long time, and we were almost the only customers in the restaurant. So why did I go back? Well, our lovely server decided to charge my credit card for tabs that weren’t mine and, when I contacted the manager to fix the problem, she offered gift certificates that were only good at the same location. Second visit: I went back with $ 10 worth of GCs and decided to get the food to go. The cashier was standing at the register chatting idly on his cell phone. When I approached the counter, he slid a few feet away from me and continued his conversation. I wondered if I was getting punked. I would have left if I knew someone I hated enough to give the GCs to. Anyway, after a few minutes of waiting for a semi-courteous cashier, I ordered my food, waited again, then got the hell out. The food was okay. I’m giving two stars because the food did no wrong, I ask very little of chicken wings to begin with, and the chicken wings didn’t choose to be sold at the BWW in Champlin. I’ll go to BWW in the future, just not this location. The manager did her best to rectify the first visit, but those GCs just gave the restaurant another chance to disappoint me.
