I have known Simon for a few years and have always referred him to anyone that I know that needed electrical work. This time we needed him on our personal home. I wanted the old can lights replaced with recessed lights in the kitchen and then added additional recessed lighting in the family room and formal living room. His attention to detail is awesome. There was very little drywall damage, and what little there was he repaired and painted (we had the paint match from when we had painted the interior a few years ago). Everything was cleaned up when he left and you really couldn’t tell that he was ever there. He has an assistant «Alex» who was very trustworthy and also very capable. I would not hesitate to refer them in the future, it’s hard to find good contractors in the Valley but they are one of the best.

Freaking Phenomenal! Two ceiling fans installed. I couldn’t be happier with the service and quoted price. SMK is now my only electrician.

Simon (owner) is a fair and honest business person. SMK is my first call if I have an electrical issue.

I used SMK Electric two more times since my last review. I called Simon to install some light fixtures and fix the wiring to fixtures in the kitchen a few months back at a second condo I own and his work was great as usual! The condo is over 25 years old so some of the wiring is a somewhat outdated so I felt more comfortable updating things with a licensed electrician. Just called Simon again January 2012 to do more work at the 25+ year old condo on the old wiring. He replaced electrical outlets, light switches, an outdoor light and installed an electrical outlet outside. It’s great bringing an older property more up-​to-​date knowing the work is done right with a licensed electrician rather than trying to do it yourself. The work is done efficiently, quickly, by a professional at a reasonable rate. After using Simon from SMK Electric three times, I highly recommend using him for all your electrical needs!
