I am positively surprised. I had the BBQ Burger, medium-rare with fries for just $ 14. This was a huge burger and the fries are delicious. Nice atmosphere as well. Restaurant style. Con: Plastic fork and knife. I am lazy when it comes to cleaning the dishes, but in a restaurant? really?

Spent almost 5 hours there, and the waiters there are very nice! They kept refilling my drinks, and even watching over my stuffs when I was using the restroom! Food there is decent! I had the Chef Geoffs burger. The only thing that bothered me was that all waitress and waiters are kinda just standing there and talking all the times, which is annoying

Yikes. Came here to get a glass of wine before my flight and wasn’t very impressed. The wines are overpriced(as they always are at the airport) and they are very mediocre. I was actually trying to go to another restaurant at IAD but it was in a different terminal which required another ride on the tram; however, looking back, it would have been worth it to make the trek to the other restaurant. According to Unilocal guidelines, I’m not allowed to name other restaurants in my review. So, I will say this instead. There are other options for wine at IAD; I would not come here. Also, the service was mediocre. Most of the staff were not very friendly. Then our waiter rang up the bill incorrectly. I got a glass of Syrah on my flight and it was SO much better than the glass of Syrah at Chef Geoffs. In addition, the wine on the flight was cheaper!

The restaurant was quick with the food, they have a lot of seating, the price was fair. Pretty good for breakfast. I would go back.

Not as bad of an experience as I expected after reading reviews. I was seated by the host promptly, led through a very crowded restaurant. My waiter was cheery and friendly and took my order in a reasonable amount of time. I kept it simple, BLT. What arrived was not a $ 14BLT — but they give you a *ton of bacon to try and make you think so. I saw a lady near me put her extras in a handy ziploc she had! From what I saw and experienced, this is diner food in a marginally nicer atmosphere. Don’t ask for much, and don’t expect much. Saw some other folks getting fussy about apparent delays in filling drinks, but Andrew was great as a waiter. No idea who Chef Geoff is…

Do you want a bite for breakfast before you depart for your trip? Then I would avoid this place and get breakfast somewhere else. If you do stop here, eat at the bar because they have charging stations there. My husband and I stopped in and it was such a slow process to order food. My husband and I both ordered the bagel sandwich. Mine was without cheese. The bagel was suppose to be an everything bagel but they were out and we ended up with plain bagel. Sad panda. My egg was also overcooked and just wasn’t that great. We had to ask multiple times for refills of our water and coffees. Be sure to grab your check when you get your food because you might be waiting awhile.

Chef Geoff’s is located in the bowels of the Dulles airport terminal… which is where it should stay. Granted, the bar is not set very high for this type of establishment. Unfortunately, there is very little more to say about it. The service was generally attentive. The food, though, is about what one would expect from an outing at well-known chains Applebees or similar, yet twice the price. This is not meant as a stab at those better known chains(I quite enjoy myself there, as a matter of fact), but to put things into perspective. Overall — Quite pricey for the mediocre(at best) food quality provided. If you go… go for the drinks at the bar.

Food was just average and the service was terrible. The concept of an appetizer coming before the entrée escapes them even when specifically requested. Plus the server never checks back after the food is delivered. Skip this place.

The food was fine, but the service sucked. The prices were a bit high, but given its in an airport, it’s understandable. The sweet potato fries are good and come with a delicious Chipotle aioli.

For airport food, this place isn’t too bad. If you’re going to be making a cross country flight where no food is served this is a good option instead of buying crappy plane food. We were seated fairly quickly. They did kind of make a deal about having to seat 3 people which was kind of uncomfortable. We got some beers which were you’re pretty run of the mill brews, nothing special. I got the burger which was actually pretty huge and it was cooked well. It even came with bacon! I also got the sweet potato fries to go along with it. Overall, it wasn’t a bad spot.

Decent food, very large salads, medium sized burgers and sandwiches. Everything is cooked to order. One of few actual sit down places in the terminal, so very busy.

Not up to par with the Chef Geoffs name. I’ve been back a few times now and they’ve been here long enough now to be running smoother than they are. Food is ok, somewhat bland. Service is average at best. Yes, you’re stuck in IAD but there are still better options.

Stopped in here before a flight to SFO in terminal c. Everyone was friendly and I was served promptly. I had the Baja Burrito and it was amazing. Just the right amount of spiciness and the huge wedge fried were cooked crispy but still soft inside. Well be coming back here!

It’s airport food. Food came out cold. Average, somewhat dry hamburger. Sweet potato fries were cold and limp(not crispy). Frankly — some of the fast food places here have more consistent quality.

Is Chef Geoff famous? I have no idea but I’m pretty sure the chef’s new outpost at Dulles Washington International Airport isn’t the reason. Pros include long counter tables for single travelers to charge up at their own outlet. Cons include long bars but with stools so close together most people take 2 stools or push one aside. The drink menu special listed Dark & Stormy with Gosling Black Rum and ginger beer. Yum! But they were out of it. The food is overpriced for the quality. The black bean burger was bland and guacamole nowhere to be found in the burger unless they meant it was IN the burger patty. Deep fried mushrooms included on top were overdone. French fries were ok. Service was fast, any new food option would improve IAD, but $ 14 for an unremarkable veggie burger and fries?

I ordered the blackened fish tacos and my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich. Both were very disappointing. The fish tacos were so salty that they were almost inedible. The slaw was bitter making the overall flavor profile just bad. I would’ve sent it back but we were very short on time. The chicken sandwich was ‘not good’ according to my boyfriend but I didn’t ask for details. The fries were soggy and covered in salt. We had to flag down a server other than ours twice for water refills, since our server was MIA when we needed him. We will not return and I recommend that others find somewhere in the terminal unless you need a sodium fix. It can’t get much worse than this.

Extremely slow service and super high prices! We had an early flight and had about an hour to eat. The food took about 40 mins and the place was not busy. Then to top it off we asked for butter and they claimed they were out of it! What kinda restaurant runs out of butter? Next time you will find me at Subway.

I don’t recommend ordering food here. The menu is limited. I ordered the sweet potato fries, and they were drenched in oil and served with an off putting sauce. This place is a good place to wait for your flight. The wine, beer and cocktail list is decent, and there are places to charge your electronics. The soft booths are more comfy than the hard seats near the gates. But the long lines and buzz are overhyped.

Terrible! See my pictures. I waited 25 min before someone saw me. Food was cold and not as described. Service was worse and failed to deliver side item that was ordered. Only reason its a one star is if you have time they have a great seating area for business traveler

First and probably only visit to this new joint in terminal C. I found the service to be on the slow side and the prices to be high. I got a roasted turkey club sandwich with salad greens for lunch. I found the turkey to be dry but I was pleased with the amount of greens with my sandwich and the dressing. My wife had a better experience with their cheeseburger though that was tasty and juicy.
