Manhattan Pizza

Delivery is horrible. We live 6 min away but we are waiting for 1:20 min now and Pizza is still not here. We better have cooked a meal than ordering pizza

My meal was absolutely atrocious tonight (see pic below) Received maybe a half eaten steak and cheese from there. The bread fell apart like it was a week old and it was so dry I needed a sip of water to send every bite down my throat. For a neighborhood pizzeria, they can’t be serving mediocrity like this.

Ordered two pizzas by call in. Stopped by payed and picked up. When I arrived home the large Pizza was Pepperoni not Supreme that I ordered. I called store and person that answered phone said that I could bring that pizza back and get the correct one! WHAT??? Asked for manager, really no apology. Offered credit for exact amount of mistake pizza.
I have been a long supporter of Manhattan by going often, taking sports teams there and etc. They have remodeled which makes place look nicer — too bad food hasn’t really improved and customer service is very poor.
People make mistakes — if simple I’m sorry let me deliver one or cover your dinner would have been perfect. Lack of apology or ownership of mistake.
I’ve had it with Manhattan! I will be getting pizza from other places!

Had their pizza for the first time the other day, delivered, and was very happy. The cheese and sausage was the best I’ve had in some time. The regular cheese only was delicious as well.
Delivery was around 30 minutes.
No complaints at all from me. I’m definitely ordering from them again in the future.

my experience with manhattan is absolutely nothing like the negative reviews here. i frequently order pizza from manhattan – usually carry out, but sometimes delivery. the pizza has always been fresh and tasty. employees have always been friendly. deliveries have always been reasonably prompt. i love their coke freestyle machine also. is it authentic (or whatever) pizza? i don’t know, but it’s tasty. and bottom line: it’s absolutely a better option than any other pizza place in our area.

I don’t have any problems with the food, besides the new Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich. The old one that was grilled tasted much better, this new breaded one taste dry and is just not very good. As far as their pizza goes I’ve never had it, so no comment there.
My main issue is the SLOW delivery, and I mean slow. 30 – 40 minutes is what I find acceptable for any place, heck if they are busy I will understand 60 minutes. However, for it to take over an hour on multiple occasions is just frustrating especially when the food comes out cold in the end of all that waiting! Please do better on your delivery!

I was really disappointed with Manhattan pizza especially being raised in NYC i thought i had found a home run sad it say i was wrong. This was probably one of the worst pizza i have ever had it was soggy, and it felt like the cheese was low grade. To be honest I would rather have digiorno then Manhattan.

Very disappointed. 1.5 hours for delivery after being told over and over it was on its way. When pizza finally arrived it was wrong. We have ordered from them for years and now have a «bad taste in our mouth». This mistake was huge in our eyes. Paisanos here we come.

This place used to have good wings. Apparently they only have boneless now which isn’t the problem. Most unappetizing thing that I’ve ever seen or had. Lost my business.

Pathetic pizza, crust not good. Real bad cheesy bread and barely any taste of zucchini in the fried zucchini order.

I will never waste my money again at Manhattan Pizza. In the few months we’ve lived in Aldie, we’ve ordered from Manhattan Pizza 10+ times. They’ve gotten the order wrong every single time. I complained once and didn’t even get an apology.

I wish I could rate this less than a star. I ordered a cheesesteak and got all lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The little bit of steak they did add was unseasoned and dry. I also ordered BBQ wings extra crispy. They were decent enough but not for $ 9. I will never order from here again

I live walking distance from this place and over the past five years, I give them a try about once a year. Why so infrequently? Because I’m always disappointed. Mind you, nothing they make is bad, it’s just… forgettable. Okay, they do make a nice salad but the pizza is just sad. The crust has absolutely no soul. If you’ve grown up on pizza from New York or New Jersey, you know exactly what I mean. The sauce is barely there and the toppings are skimpy. Seriously, the pizza simply has no flavor! The staff is super friendly and they are always busy so I guess others like it more than me. Sorry Manhattan, I’ll stop by again sometime in 2016 and try it again.

Stopped in for a quick take-​out lunch. slices are $ 2.50 and huge! I got a slice of pepperoni and cheesy garlic bread to go. Grand total was $ 6.36 and overall it was a good lunch. Both the pizza and bread were greasy but not past the desired amount, I will definitely be back.

Food comes out pretty quickly, smells great and is served hot. Ordered the gyro pizza and OMG. Fantastic! I think for the price you pay and the nice family restaurant like service you get, this is my number one restaurant for stone ridge.
Cons: This is all Italian restaurants, so not a knock on Manhattan but the salads aren’t chopped up all the way. I don’t come for the salad tho! Tzatsiki yogurt wasn’t my favorite.
Pros: The Greek pizza was awesome! Just like a Greek restaurant that I frequent in Burke. Fantastic! The baked ziti was also very delicious. I want to give 5 stars to bump up the 3 star average because the customer service was phenomenal. I will come back back and back :)

The first time I ordered from this place (for delivery), my steak and cheese sandwich arrived without much steak and lots of lettuce. I called and spoke to someone and they immediately rectified it by sending another sandwich, though it was still a game of hide-​and-​seek the steak. The taste was decent, though. The win was their response to the complaint.
Their grilled chicken salad is delicious. And their gyro sandwich is okay (better at Paisano’s, though).
They’re VERY fast with delivery, to the point where I’m wondering if the food is ready-​made and is just heated in a microwave? Still, fast delivery is always a win, order the salads, and though I’ve heard their pizzas are pretty decent, I haven’t tried it yet.
Honestly, the best NY style pizza I’ve had in all of NOVA was at the Fair Lakes Wegman’s!

Love their steak and cheese sub! The fries that come with it are delicious! They are crunchy and that is how fries should be. They don’t look like the ones that you just put in the oven. Will be coming here more often :)

Food poisoning twice in two years. We are done.

So I decided to give them another go… Because either they changed management since my last review or just have improved! They redid the inside and the front staff is more reliable. I typically always get food to go and haven’t had any problems. We did eat there once and a staff member was helpful in cleaning up our dishes & checking on us.

There are few times when you raise a complaint to a business and the complaint is not only addressed but a solution was given. The owner (Jack) reached out to me and sent not 1 but 2 separate messages apologizing for my experience. These emails were not lame attempts to «sugar coat» or make excuses, they were straight forward and a plan of action was given to address my concerns. I could feel his passion for the family business, and wants his customers to be completely satisfied.
Jack even offered to give me a free meal and then offered to send a gift certificate that can be used at any of his locations! Where I greatly appreciate that I don’t believe in taking «free food» I have and always will pay for my food regardless of the experience especially when I know that the owner truly cares about his customers. In other words I want to support the business not take from it.
I will DEFINITELY be returning to Manhattans. And Jack I have a tremendous amount of respect for you and how you run your business. Thank you again!
