Hubs picked up some pizza from here. Ordering was easy enough, employees are friendly and quick. This location opened up pretty recently and is now the closest Papa John’s to us. Our pizzas were well prepared. They had a buy 1 pizza full price and the second pizza is 50 cents deal going on, which was nice. Overall, not a bad option to have.

Admittedly, had this been an uneventful pizza delivery I wouldn’t have been motivated to write a review. This is why customer service is so important. My pizza arrived undercooked. It looked cooked on the outside but on the inside it was doughy and inedible. I popped it in the oven and then called to let them know the pizza was undercook. I knew I could cook it myself so it was half a complaint and half letting them know their pizzas were being delivered undercooked. The person I spoke with incredulously responded by telling me that all pizzas are cooked at 425 degrees(or something like that) and they can’t be pulled out early so there was no way it could be undercooked. I invited him to come pick the pizza up and see for himself. He opted to give me a credit for the pizza. Had he not basically accused me of lying I’d been happy with the credit and would have chalked it up to a bad night. I’ll give them one more shot then it’s back to Vocellis.

Where do I start. The little place was so busy. The moment I walked up to the counter I realized coming in might’ve been a bad idea. The poor lady at the register was juggling the phone ringing off the hook and customers in line for orders. You could tell she(and the rest of the staff) was enormously overwhelmed and looked a little frazzled and frustrated. In my opinion there were plenty of people working in the back to get all the orders done but the wait time was still a good 30−45minutes. There was also no other person helping at the front counter to answer phones or take walk in orders, except for the occasional delivery boy who’d just arrived and caught the phone just as it started ringing. I think in the middle of ringing up our order, their register whacked out and we didn’t even get a receipt. And the change we got back was straight out of one of the employees pockets. I saw some of the other employees exchanging money from their pockets(up to $ 90+ I heard them say). I followed up with our order after waiting about 10 minutes and he said the would be about another 20−30min and apologized for the time. You could tell they were really struggling but trying their best. But you would think a district manager would come step in if its that overwhelmed often. I mean, it’s a Tuesday night. I can’t even imagine the weekends. The one good thing was despite the all the crazy going on, their customer service was pretty good. It’s the closet pizza place to my house & work but I don’t think I’ll be going there again until some things have changed.
