As first time home buyers, my husband and I really had no clue what should have been looking for when we went to look at houses. Both of our parents live out of state, so we were pretty much on our own. A good friend had recommended Jodi to us based on a phenomenal experience with selling their home. We called Jodi and she truly walked us through the process in a way that I know most realtors would not have.
When we first started looking, we gave Jodi a run down of what we wanted in a home and where we wanted to be. However, after looking at just a few homes with Jodi, it became clear we had to revise our search criteria. Jodi stuck with us despite changing our minds a few times. Whenever we walked into a house, Jodi let us establish an opinion first and then gave her professional feedback. Jodi was always able to tell us on the spot whether or not she thought the house was priced correctly and her response time for pulling comps and scheduling appointments was impeccable. Jodi pointed out countless flaws and treasures within houses that we would have never noticed ourselves as novice buyers. She even saved us from purchasing a home that had trouble selling later on due to its appraisal price– she was spot on with her advice. Truly, without her keen eye and savvy real estate knowledge, we would not be where we are today: in a home that is beyond our wildest dreams.

When the previous home owners left our home in disastrous conditions, she called her cleaning crew and had the home professionally cleaned overnight so we could move into a spotless home on our scheduled move-​in date. When the sellers were pushing back last minute and reneging on previously agreed to terms, Jodi made compromises and concessions with the seller’s realtor to get us exactly what we needed. Jodi even tapped into her own commission to take care of some of the repairs left undone by the sellers– an example of someone who puts people first!
